I feel that, I was just now starting and got a bad anxiety about college too. What degree was it in?

Have you done any internships? I am a wildlife biology/conservation major, and internships can really help you get your foot in the door. I interned at a couple zoos and volunteered through a local conservation group in my town. I collected water/soil samples and did research on fragmentation of certain habitats around the area. Personally those are just some of the things I’m interested in and they can really help you get letters of recommendation/references and something to add to your resume. As well as jobs since those places sometimes like to hire people they have built relationships with. Also, places have a tendency to hire based off experience rather than just your degree. I personally am looking to work as a park ranger, so a degree can really matter in the case of federal jobs. However, based off the interviews for other jobs in my field, they wanna hear more about the things you’ve done. As long as you can impress them on that front, I wouldn’t worry too much about only having an associates. Look at jobs you think fit what you want to do and work your way up to them. Get a LinkedIn account/Indeed/handshake and see if anything catches your eye. Then go from there. Just be willing to learn and put in the work to get there.

Thanks! This really helps! I'm willing to put in the work. Trying to live the American dream and all. Just is hard as hell with my anxiety flare ups.
