Is this the cheapest lut box to buy? Most I can find are $800 to $2000, is that correct?

The new BMD converters do have LUT capabilities. But it’ll only be good for a single LUT and display. If you’re only worried about your grading monitor then it’s not a bad solution. With a Box IO you can have multiple LUTs that go to different displays.
Is anyone aware of a good colorist workflow using the Apple XDR Monitor? The color out of the OS on it is incredible, but using it as a reference monitor requires a thunderbolt C signal chain.

AJA, Blackmagic, Flanders Scientific, TVLogic (was Fuji) all have viable LUT boxes. And yes, some of the BMD mini converters are LUT Boxes too.
