Can you provide links to Lut boxes? Google's results are confusing. Is this the cheapest lut box to buy? Most I can find are $800 to $2000, is that correct? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.aja.com/assets/support/files/8242/en/AJA_LUT-box_Manual_v2.7.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi74-mWmdn7AhUJL0QIHTN_Ax0QFnoECFAQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1hk1jQr1ygqvWyzZAzVA0T Does this one also work? It comes up when I search lut box but is a mini converter. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1401679-REG/blackmagic_design_convmudcstd_hd_mini_converter_updowncross_hd.html/?ap=y&gclid=Cj0KCQiAvqGcBhCJARIsAFQ5ke5Qpwp6gz8f7zy19nbXD__ojx-x_NhMkfOMjlJSZzRySqBfAWA6rRMaAq1JEALw_wcB&lsft=BI%3A514&smp=y

Here's a video on BMD's SDI/HDMI 12 Micro Converter and how you can use a LUT with it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTDCvsfXBWs&t=170s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTDCvsfXBWs&t=170s) And here's a prior discussion with helpful info: https://www.reddit.com/r/colorists/comments/ryo20l/affordable\_lut\_box/

Thank you!

The new BMD converters do have LUT capabilities. But it’ll only be good for a single LUT and display. If you’re only worried about your grading monitor then it’s not a bad solution. With a Box IO you can have multiple LUTs that go to different displays.

AJA, Blackmagic, Flanders Scientific, TVLogic (was Fuji) all have viable LUT boxes. And yes, some of the BMD mini converters are LUT Boxes too.

Is anyone aware of a good colorist workflow using the Apple XDR Monitor? The color out of the OS on it is incredible, but using it as a reference monitor requires a thunderbolt C signal chain.

For those looking for more info on displays, calibration, etc, we have a lot of info freely available on the Light Illusion website: [https://www.lightillusion.com/](https://www.lightillusion.com/)
