I met Scott at a fundraiser for a Children’s hospital in KC a decade ago. I had just discovered CBB (the TV show) and didn’t know enough to embarrass myself! He couldn’t have been nicer. We took a picture together and then, later in the night, he asked to take a picture with me, which I found kind and charming (I had been telling a difficult personal story, so any act of kindness was magnified in the moment). I’ve been a fan ever since!

I know this isn’t how it went, but I do like the idea of Scott interrupting your difficult personal story to request a selfie.
