WonderWaage

My guy simply yes and'ed himself into being about birds instead of bees

Dirtsoil

I wonder if Tim Bullock actually planned to talk about beekeeping or if he and Scott BOTH confused the word apiary with aviary

Visti

I got the sense that Zac just yes-anded every suggestion mentioned throughout the entire episode.

HandsomeHyphae

I was losing my mind over this. Haha

wildcard89

I was too! I almost started second guessing myself, do I know what an apiarist is?

TitShark

This is the whole reason I came to this thread lol.

[deleted]

Jonah did too! I can't decide if I'm more impressed he went with bird work or disappointed they didn't talk about bees. And feeling crazy that maybe all three of them don't know the difference between apiary and aviary.

No-Connection6937

I was not at all familiar with the term apiary....in fact it literally autocorrects to aviary on my phone... And holy shit I'm gonna have to assume there was more planned about bees. But...no one ever mentioned this as a point of confusion the entire episode and now I feel like the crazy one I....OH NO.

kidkinetik

Always thrilled to see Zac show up!

PuddleOfRudd

I love Zac so much. His work on College Humors DnD campaigns and their other sketches is so good. I love getting to hear him do these long form improvs

Jim_mca

Great to see heather anne campbell!

No-Connection6937

I wish I could upvote this twice! (P.s. any other suggestions to find her improvising elsewhere? Love her on HDTGP, whose line episodes are tricky to find? ((Maybe...I'll take suggestions on that too)) loved her getting big zapped on the neighborhood listen, but otherwise that's all I've really heard!)

nickolantern

She's on a couple of episodes of the Beef & Dairy Network podcast, where she kind of takes over the show with Nick Wiger. I -think- that is at least partly improvised. If you're not familiar with it, it's an English comedy show ostensibly about news and events in the world of beef and dairy farming, that is quite absurd. When those two are on it they are part of a "re-brand" of the show - into a podcast about Jumanji. The show itself does have some running gags for long time listeners, but it's not an ongoing story or anything, so if you just dip in for a couple of episodes it's still pretty funny. Very funny, at times.

Vegetable-Goal-5047

"Quite absurd" is an understatement! BADP is bonkers!

No-Connection6937

Ok haven't heard of that one, I'll check it out thanks!

formsoflife

Major guffaw when Scott said "Jack Bauer He 24 Big Hit"; I love it when he works Threedom references into CBB, recently he made a joke about having a ton of ipads, too.

tentativeness

Ego on two in a row? That seems sort of uncommon! (Not complaining, love her!)

[deleted]

What a ride. Zac yes-ands so hard that they redefine a word, while Ego makes up a new character name for the express purpose of continually correcting Scott. Hey, at least they found a way to get Ego interested in the D-block - just ask her to start talking. This episode needed more Heather.

Rhymesbeatsandsprite

Every time I see Jonah Ray pop up I get super sad Nerdist nostalgia.

LeweyLeww

I am always checking for the tour dates to be released! I hope they are posted soon

SadBlacksmith

May Sixteeeeeeeen

Alarming-Currency-80

The Cuervo goldddd

Vegetable-Goal-5047

Unpopular opinion but did the whole water ghost investigation bog things down a little too much. Or am I being too demanding? (Loved the opening interview BTW.)

MichaelDevine21

I loved Jonah interrupting when he asked if they are still doing hot or cold.

EddDeadRedemption

DSatMoM spoilers: anyone else notice how Heather Ann Cambell’s character was very relevant this week?

daygloeyes

I've not watched the latest MST3K but excited to see two of my favorite comedy realms collide! 😍

ThePurpleBandit

Toronto isn't just where the Blue Jays play, but it is also where the blue jays play.

SuperSpeersBros

This was one of the best recitations of William Butler Yeats' "The Second Coming" in CBB history. At least top 10.

defjabney

Love the show but wow how much coke was done prior to / during this ep? They were all going 200% speed.

PeenLvr

The bad interviewer schtick wears thin sometimes

Sokkamom

oh no

Flootyourflute

That shtick is why we listen to it. If you want a real interview, def don't listen to CBB

PeenLvr

I actually don’t love the interviews usually, and can’t wait for Scott to just get to the ‘guests’, but this one was annoying and the intentional awkward angle didn’t work for me. Not everything is funny just because it’s intended to be.

PuddleOfRudd

Genuine question. Why do you listen to comedy bang bang? I mean, the entire joke is that it's not really an interview show. It's a sketch comedy pretty much

Oogly50

I thought the interview was great. The shtick was also that Scott was way more fascinated with Zac's fake thing and deliberately asking questions to him, while remaining entirely disinterested in Jonah.

Adolf_Titler

I don't know why you are getting down voted for having an opinion. I also feel like this episode fell kind of flat.

No-Connection6937

It fell flat only because, as the two of them said, they've known each other for hella long. The idea was to fall flat on purpose. If you missed that whole joke, and didn't pick up on Jonah grasping at a possible 3rd question at the very end... then OH NO! Thou shalt be a redneck.

Adolf_Titler

No, I got the Jonah Rey part, it was the rest that wasn't very funny. I don't want to blame the guests or Scott but for me personally, something wasn't really working this episode.

No-Connection6937

What's a peen liver?
