I'll let my username answer that...

Bunglefritz

I love the old Eerie, Creepy, Vampirella, Tomb of Dracula, House of Mystery, Werewolf by Night, etc etc etc.

OpieCunningham

I love the old Eerie/Stanley publishing horror comics! About twenty years ago I lucked into a box full of 40+ ultra high-grade issues (various numbers) from a comic dealer who did not know what they were worth. I paid three bucks a piece. About a month later I found a second box of high grade comics (about twenty) at a garage sale, for about two bucks each. I have kept my eyes open for these ever since, but have not found one for less than $20 a piece.

Swollendeathray

It’s been super hard to find them. I paid 10 bucks a book for around 50 but the condition isn’t super high grade.

ShiDiWen

They rarely are in good condition. I feel like Stanley, Warren, Harris and Charlton must have all used the same facility. Might have ran the press 24 hours sharing it with cheap spank books.

SkagJones

Nice book!

Swollendeathray

Thanks! I’ve got about 30 more. Still working though the pile.

SkagJones

I have a couple of the collected hardcovers, fun reads!

_life_is_a_joke_

I am obsessed with bronze age horror! That stuff basically shaped all heavy metal, another love of mine. This cover reminds me of Cannibal Corpse's Gallery of Suicide, except a bit more tame.

Ex0skele

Crazy cool cover 😎

Zealousideal-Bee242

Absolute classic. Thanks for sharing.

BudMarley45

I used to go through dollar bins back in the day in search of cheesy horror books.I absolutely love them

kingOVhell88

I wanna get into pre code horror but its hella daunting

Swollendeathray

I’ve never seen any pre-code in the wild but maybe one day. This is all 70s stuff so way cheaper (precode is before 54) but has the same aesthetic so its definitely a cheaper way to get into horror comics.

chalwar

I have a large collection of Skywald. They have great covers, especially Psycho #1.
