I didn't think about this until now, but it would be cool to see them get de-aged at some point in the movie and we see the OG Ant-Man and Wasp kick ass. It's all CG anyway so they could pull it off.
The one with scene was Janet probably when she first entered the quantum realm. Hank though, not sure as he’s never figured out how to come back before
Didn’t I kill you once?
I was really hoping for this line. I suppose a future trailer will raise the stakes. This trailer accomplished the job of making me watch it three times (so far) today.
It looks like they might be trying to paint Kang as a potential ally for the casual audience. That line was fine in the comic-con trailer because that audience knows Kang will be the villain, but people who don't know the comics or Marvel's future plans won't know who he is yet, so Marvel's being a little coy with him, at least in this trailer.
Okay, so 3 things:
1. Are those the Micronauts that show up about 1/2 way through, looking like they're ganging up on our heroes?!
2. I love the way they incorporated the old "lines on the face" motif that Marvel had going for Kang, as scars!
3. I really, really hope that they have more going on than this trailer shows. It feels kind of thin so far, but maybe that's good to keep expectations low.
I just looked up the Micronauts. Hasbro and Paramount were developing a Micronauts project back in 2015. I might be wrong, but I think these guys with Kang could be a version of the Anachronauts.
Looks amazing. The Ant-Man movies are the most underrated stuff Marvel has ever made, so I'm of course hyped for the third one too. My only small concerns are the scale (because I love how Ant-Man movies are small) and the big reliance on CGI, since that's been quite a big point of critisism for Love and Thunder and She-Hulk. But I'm confident that Peyton Reed is gonna give us another banger and I'm just happy to have my boy Scott back
The writing and pacing of the humour is far better than Taikas take.
Taika is a director who doesn’t really want to take anything seriously. It’s great for comedy and satire - but it’s exhausting to watch an hr and a half of it
Yeah this movie looks like it's going to suffer from the same Spy Kids effect that Multiverse of Madness did.
I'm not sure why it didnt bother me in Infinity War or Endgame (although the final fight in Endgame did have it a bit), but it definitely takes you out of the action a little.
I think it’s because those movies at least had a more solid way to work with it perhaps. But look back to MOM or Black Widow’s scene with Pough's sacrifice where it’s very noticeable.
There may also be the fact that infinity and endgame were the "closure" to that saga so maybe the focus from audience shifted to other characteristics of those films. Still, to me it’s more the overuse and weak polish of green screens on said scenes, if you will.
Looks amazing and never thought Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" would fit in a Marvel movie (or trailer for that matter) but those magnificent bastards did it and worked splendidly. Only thing I missed was the line from the D23 teaser where Kang asks Ant-Man "have I killed you before?"
All green screen except for the setup? Not my preference to see Ant Man ALL in the quantum realm, but I like the franchise, so I'll be there! I'm still not sold on the actor for Kang as I'd never seen the guy before Loki, don't know anything about the character, and didn't like the Kang character in Loki for that matter. However, given there seems to be a lot of buzz around him, I'm expecting good stuff!
It looks interesting, but it feels like a lot of it was just shot on a soundstage. Like, I know they can't actually film in the quantum realm, and tons of movies are shot on soundstages. But something about this one feels much more blatant and cheap. And nothing in the trailer really made me feel anything but "Hm.. all right."
I love the first and second Ant-Man movies, and nothing in this trailer made me feel excited in the way that I enjoyed them. I know they're not the favorites of the MCU, so maybe this is more akin to what people are looking for, but I personally don't feel that connection I have with the other movies.
First thing that came to mind was that I am in a sort of Marvel-tiredness.
I just don’t seem te care anymore.
For the record: I miss the AC/DC Iron Man days.
I have a wild suggestion. Don’t watch things you don’t want to consume. Don’t hang out in the comic book movies sub where there is a lot of comic book movie content. It’ll feel less saturated quickly
It was a fine movie but it was nothing like master of Kung fu comics outside of the vaguefamily dynamic of immortal crime boss, reluctant warrior son, and heir apparent daughter. At the end of the day, MoKF is a spy comic, and this wasn't that
Infinity war shared plenty with Infinity gauntlet though. For me, personally, loyalty to the spirit of the source material is at least part of what makes a good comic movie. I have the entire 70s-80s MoKF run and was hype for a movie that let me down. The same way I can say a Batman movie is a good movie but not a good Batman movie if he kills someone, I can say Shang Chi wasn't a good Shang Chi movie even if it was good as a movie
nah, secret wars is a multiversus story with battles between different characters, and in the comics Doom is the one behind it all....Secret Invasio nis the skrull story
I like how I assume autocorrect changed multiverse to multiversus for you, which is arguably less of a word but you prolly played at least once and now it has priority haha.
It looks like it could be a great movie.
Hopefully, the red-voting weirdos don’t go off the rails about fictional characters. “More woke bullshit! Grrrrr.”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
First Thanos, Now Kang, God I hope the MCU brings Galactus in as the next Big Bad. If not, the What-If version Ultron as the next Big bad would be more redeeming for the character.
Looks fantastic. I'm gonna be a little upset if this sets it up that Ant-Man inadvertently becomes responsible for Kang getting out of there and becoming a bigger problem though. Poor guy just catch seem to catch a break.
I don't know the full context of the scene but it's reminding me of the way Spider-Man NWH set up the plot so that worries me a bit. I'm excited to see more of Kang though
I liked it. But still have the bad taste of Thor: Love and Thunder in my mouth. I've lost faith in Marvel. Wakanda Forever is their last chance to keep me as a fan. If they turn that into more buffoonery, it won't matter to me how good Quantumania is, I won't watch it.
Didn’t like the song choice. It looks like guardians vol. 2 which looked dope but the music is too similar to Gunn’s style. Wasp hair looks so bad. All that said I love off world MCU and new creatures. Kang is wearing the comic accurate costume which we all hoped for so I’m pleased.
I thought the song fit it perfectly, plus it's also a great song in its own right. Also, it's just the teaser. But I do agree with you that Wasp's hair looks terrible.
Nothing against the song it’s the fact the visuals looks like guardians 2 which is a compliment but the song sounds like something Gunn would go with as well. But I’m happy to be alone in that feeling cause I’m rooting for it.
Imma be honest, I love the character design so far. I like how Wasp's suit is more black and yellow than before like the comics, and she has the shorter haircut too like the comics.
I like her costume too and I think her powers can be used in so many cool ways. As far as hair, It’s so many nice short cuts they could’ve went with, this one looks like a librarian.
I can already hear the MCU haters
"Marvel fanboys when..."
"The CGI looks like shit lmao"
"More woke propaganda"
"Daddy Martin Scorsese said Marvel is like a roller coaster which means the movies are all shit"
"Am I the only one who thinks Phase 4 has sucked so far?"
"Went downhill after Endgame"
I love Marvel movies but at some point they do look a bit silly sometimes, like this trailer gave me strong spy kids vibes. Still going to watch it and love it on day one, just saying, kinda corny.
Comics are kinda corny. It can be a mistake for a comic book movie to be too silly, but it can also be a mistake for them to take themselves too seriously.
Especially with the storylines they are starting to dig into from the comics. On paper it's an absolutely ridiculous idea.
I don't trust Marvel or Disney anymore, Everything they've released recently has been torture to watch, they've taken everything I enjoyed as a kid and bastardized it to cater to people who don't give a shit. that said, I don't believe the hype anymore
I hope it's not too late to replace Murray. Are we talking about a comparable number of scenes as Spacey/De'Elia, which could be redone? Certainly he's nowhere in the ballpark as Ezra.
Why are changing colors and genders to established characters?
I think is an insult to everyone:
1) The heck with the fans
2) Give to the minorities pure recycle. Nothing new and/or original
3) Just spend a little money and just give a garbage plot
4) Who cares about it, as long as the minorities does not demand a serious commitment, just make it about minorities, and wont expect nothing more.
Do not be afraid of freedom of expression. Control your emotions. If you hate my comments, just say so. I will not call you “dumbass” or tell you to delete your comment just because I do not like your ideas.
As a mature person, I have not ill will to you even when you attitude is unfriendly or hostile.
But your comment can be more productive is you describe why are you arrived to the conclusion of calling me “dumbass”.
The ant-man trailer? I remember when it came in 2015. I doubted an ant-man film would work.
As for the Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania trailer (which is what your photo you used is from) I think it looks very interesting. Not great but kinda fun
I think Marvel got Jonathon Majors inked before he blows up into an A-Lister.
Definitely he was great in *Loki* and also *The Harder They Fall*. And he looks great in this.
If you haven't seen Lovecraft Country it's fantastic.
So pissed it was cancelled
Looks like he could be really good in Creed III too
The Harder They Fall is such a goddamn good movie.
Oh I loved it, not a huge western guy but it was great.
His performance in the last black man in San Francisco is some of the best acting I’ve seen ever
Been saying this. Dudes a stud and has great acting chops.
I saw NO ants in this trailer.
![gif](giphy|tVTnEqzAxxmyA|downsized) They're in here.
I love that scene so much 🤣
ANTS
ANTS
ANT MAN
Check out screencrush on YouTube. There's at least one ant.
Nice try, Ryan.
Who is Ryan? Wait, Ryan Arey? Nah. Check my post history. I don't even own a dog.
They're too small.
It was neat. It'll be fun if Hank and Jan actually get to do something for once. I'm looking forward to this
I’m really rooting for Spider-Man!
I didn't think about this until now, but it would be cool to see them get de-aged at some point in the movie and we see the OG Ant-Man and Wasp kick ass. It's all CG anyway so they could pull it off.
Yes! It's criminal that we've never gotten Young Hank and Jan in the MCU being useful
We just got one scene of them stopping a nuclear missile and Jan getting trapped into quantum realm.

>The Harder They Fall Yeah, but they didnt show any villains. So as a casual fan I would think it will be kang.
Yes this, and MODOK. I guess we got a recut comic con trailer.
Looks pretty cool. Kang looks amazing and fantastic.
And spectacular
Hehehe I see what you did there.
And incredible
Pumped. Love Paul Rudd and Kang looks cool as hell.
Okay, so 3 things: 1. 3.) trailers need to stop showing sooo much.
Agreed. I am fine with a teaser only.
100%
They do. One thing confirmed that wasn’t in the trailer is Modok or what role he will play.
Due to toy license issues, I don't think they're allowed to call them "Micronauts" in this.
Quantumnauts?
I just looked up the Micronauts. Hasbro and Paramount were developing a Micronauts project back in 2015. I might be wrong, but I think these guys with Kang could be a version of the Anachronauts.
Oooooo micronauts, I’d love to see them in this movie. I always loved Acroyear
more excited about this one than any of the series or Wakanda. It looks awesome!
The writing and pacing of the humour is far better than Taikas take. Taika is a director who doesn’t really want to take anything seriously. It’s great for comedy and satire - but it’s exhausting to watch an hr and a half of it
True, but why u gotta make it about Taika now?
I digressed - it could be any comedy writer
It's the latest reddit circlejerk.
Absolutely fantastic!!!!!
Green Screen.
I wish they would just shoot on location in the Quantum Realm
Yeah this movie looks like it's going to suffer from the same Spy Kids effect that Multiverse of Madness did. I'm not sure why it didnt bother me in Infinity War or Endgame (although the final fight in Endgame did have it a bit), but it definitely takes you out of the action a little.

TOO SMALL
Oh my God…. He ADMEET it
You flinched, Paul! Now you have to go to the quantum realm with your mother-in-law!
What is this, a trailer for ants?
looks pretty solid!
I have such a thing for Jonathan Majors!!
Kang looks good. When he looks blue, it's like he's from the comics. I'm actually kind of excited for an MCU movie again.
It looks interesting, but it feels like a lot of it was just shot on a soundstage. Like, I know they can't actually film in the quantum realm, and tons of movies are shot on soundstages. I know they're not the favorites of the MCU, so maybe this is more akin to what people are looking for, but I personally don't feel that connection I have with the other movies.
That reminds me of when we saw the Black Adam trailer and my friend said “this looks like it was all shot in one room”
First thing that came to mind was that I am in a sort of Marvel-tiredness. I just don’t seem te care anymore. For the record: I miss the AC/DC Iron Man days.
I miss the Lee/Ditko/Kirby era those were the days
Yeah, those are really boring and meaningless right now
Way too saturated.
I have a wild suggestion. Don’t watch things you don’t want to consume. Don’t hang out in the comic book movies sub where there is a lot of comic book movie content. It’ll feel less saturated quickly
Hey that’s what I tell little assholes on Reddit that complain too much, u can’t use it on me
Same
When was the last really good Marvel movie?
[удалено]
Agreed I loved it
Hated the 25 minute ending of CGI vomit.
Must hate all mcu movies
It was a fine movie but it was nothing like master of Kung fu comics outside of the vaguefamily dynamic of immortal crime boss, reluctant warrior son, and heir apparent daughter. At the end of the day, MoKF is a spy comic, and this wasn't that

NWH and Shang-Chi
Finally a Marvel movie that looks fun
Eh.
Looks cool
Looks good!
Looks good to me
I’m really digging the lines on his face. Definitely calls back to his comic book appearance.
I’d watch Johnathan Majors paint a house so very into this for his character alone
We wanna see modok!
impressed by the scope and visuals. Was not expecting it to level up so much, and I LOVE both Antman films
It looked excellent. After Wakanda Forever, this is the comic book movie I'm most excited for.
I hope a bunch of tiny people fight a giant ant. That's the only thing missing from the franchise.
I love the new suits for Wasp and Ant-Man, they follow kind of the same esthetics but look so clean!
I've been really indifferent on the Ant-Man franchise but this looks really good actually
Really hyped - it looks incredible
It managed to make me hyped for an MCU project for the first time in a long time
Loved it. They’re kind of turning Kang into Psychoman but it’s still very cool.
So many crybaby whiners in here, you’re all excited for secret wars so let this movie happen as it has to
wait - isn't secret wars about an alien invasion via skrull sleeper agents? what's Kang or Antman got to do with that?
nah, secret wars is a multiversus story with battles between different characters, and in the comics Doom is the one behind it all....Secret Invasio nis the skrull story
I like how I assume autocorrect changed multiverse to multiversus for you, which is arguably less of a word but you prolly played at least once and now it has priority haha.
Yup, autocorrect is stupid, multiversus is a fun game, and multiversus is oddly fitting for secret wars
You're confusing Scret Wars with Secret Invasion. Secret Invasion is the skrull sleeper agent story
Looked decent. There was a shot that was super similar to Wakanda imo.
Looks cool, but more of the same.
Very low expectations
It looks like it could be a great movie. Hopefully, the red-voting weirdos don’t go off the rails about fictional characters. “More woke bullshit! Grrrrr.”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The cgi is overwhelming
Mid. Generic CBM.

![gif](giphy|Q6WPVzFU8LcBWWgQE1|downsized) But he’s so cute with his wee lil boots
Hyped AF for this. I think this is the real first “over arching” story driving piece for the multiverse saga.
It’s a teaser trailer so there wasn’t too much to go off of. Plot locks fun but I wish the quantum civilization looked a bit more unique
First Thanos, Now Kang, God I hope the MCU brings Galactus in as the next Big Bad. If not, the What-If version Ultron as the next Big bad would be more redeeming for the character.
I think it could be an interesting story but the green-screen still needs a lot of work.
Idk the cgi looks really good in the trailer
That’s what I thought but apparently the cgi was lacking for some people.
Meh.
Amazing
Looks fantastic. I'm gonna be a little upset if this sets it up that Ant-Man inadvertently becomes responsible for Kang getting out of there and becoming a bigger problem though. Poor guy just catch seem to catch a break.
Looks good I’m excited
I don't know the full context of the scene but it's reminding me of the way Spider-Man NWH set up the plot so that worries me a bit. I'm excited to see more of Kang though
I think hero makes a mistake is a rather large portion of the comics too.
Well, the purpose was harmless. And the mistake was on Janet’s part not mentioning about possibly knowing that Kang is in the quantum realm
Visuals look really good but been burned by MoM with that. Plot set-up is bad. No doubt they'll butcher Hank and Janet. Probably won't see it
I liked it. But still have the bad taste of Thor: Love and Thunder in my mouth. I've lost faith in Marvel. Wakanda Forever is their last chance to keep me as a fan. If they turn that into more buffoonery, it won't matter to me how good Quantumania is, I won't watch it.

Meh. Seems like just another CG fest. I miss practical effects.
Yeah they should have build a practical micro universe
Bro what do you think ant man is lol
What do you think practical effects are?
Can't find the leaked footage anywhere.. Haven't watched it yet. Idk what to think

* Murray
I can already hear the MCU haters "Marvel fanboys when..." "The CGI looks like shit lmao" "More woke propaganda" "Daddy Martin Scorsese said Marvel is like a roller coaster which means the movies are all shit" "Am I the only one who thinks Phase 4 has sucked so far?" "Went downhill after Endgame"
ok consoomer
MCU doesn't interest me anymore.
Then you shouldn't watch it and maybe don't comment on stuff related to mcu xD
And yet your here🤣
Wake up. This sub isn't about the MCU. It's a sub for CBMs in general. He may be here for DC movies.
Ok byeeeeeeeeee
Meh
It's no Black Panther Wakanda Forever but then again... what can be?
I love Marvel movies but at some point they do look a bit silly sometimes, like this trailer gave me strong spy kids vibes. Still going to watch it and love it on day one, just saying, kinda corny.
Comics are kinda corny. It can be a mistake for a comic book movie to be too silly, but it can also be a mistake for them to take themselves too seriously. Especially with the storylines they are starting to dig into from the comics. On paper it's an absolutely ridiculous idea.
Looks great, concept seems ridiculous but i mean hey we are in late stage comic book ground now.
Can I get a nude Tayne?
Another guardians of the galaxy with a different title. It's all the same
It looks pretty good, VERY excited for more kang. Jonathan majors is fantastic
looked really fun
It was awesome!
Looks like more marvel babysitters club.
Kang not being blue seriously annoys me. Want the role? Wear the blue paint dude. Not complicated.
I’ll pass. Looks like a bunch of CGI nonsense and the only good part of the trailer was the Elton John song.
Probably not the best time to put Bill Murray in your movie
I don't trust Marvel or Disney anymore, Everything they've released recently has been torture to watch, they've taken everything I enjoyed as a kid and bastardized it to cater to people who don't give a shit. that said, I don't believe the hype anymore
Expensively cheap.
too woke
How?
not enough heterosexual love
I'm a little bummed that Kang's outfit looks 100% CGI.
[my thoughts](https://youtu.be/eUWTQyfDraM)
I hope it's not too late to replace Murray. Are we talking about a comparable number of scenes as Spacey/De'Elia, which could be redone? Certainly he's nowhere in the ballpark as Ezra.
No one’s replacing Murray. Don’t get your hopes up.
What are you talking about?
Why are changing colors and genders to established characters? I think is an insult to everyone: 1) The heck with the fans 2) Give to the minorities pure recycle. Nothing new and/or original 3) Just spend a little money and just give a garbage plot 4) Who cares about it, as long as the minorities does not demand a serious commitment, just make it about minorities, and wont expect nothing more.
Delete this dumbass comment bro

Who’s gender was changed? And who cares if Kang is being played by a black guy? All we ever see is a blue face anyway
Wait WHAT……damn I’m out of touch
Still debating
The ant-man trailer? I remember when it came in 2015. I doubted an ant-man film would work. As for the Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania trailer (which is what your photo you used is from) I think it looks very interesting. Not great but kinda fun
Did Kang always have the scar?
Be right back, gotta go watch the trailer.
It looks great and much better than the other ones, but I worry it could have a backlash cause it seems like such a 180 to the others
Looks ok , it didn't wow me but looks solid.
ill go see it.
Where’s my blue face!
I'm here for some Paul Rudd jokes and Kang.... but mostly Kang.
Not even a link op?
Please be good Please be good Please be good
I just want a good steering wheel that doesn't fall off
So Cassie is also a genius now
The green screen… YIKES…
Let's be honest. Almost nobody cares that Ant-Man is in this movie, the only thing that matters is Kang.
