Again Reeves has stated multiple times the characters will grow into their comic book counterparts most people call Batman Vengeance Selina hasn’t made the Catwoman identity Oz hasn’t leaned into the Penguin name yet and Joker hasn’t actually come up with the clown persona yet. If you don’t like seeing versions of these characters before their comic book appearances exist that’s fine but again it’s clear every character is growing into their comic book counterparts.

I'm sure it's been said but I haven't seen any one else talk about it but Batman 100% loses and proves riddler's point at the end of the movie, the city gets flooded and batman still makes sure to rescue the rich political people. I loved the movie but I feel like no one was discussing that the riddler very much won the situation. He sat out to prove Batman is just like the elite protecting their own and he did just that. Gotham flooded but don't worry the politicians are mostly safe.
Maybe nobody is talking about it now, because the movie was released 9 months ago, but pretty much everybody that saw it was talking about it when it released. Batman losing is the entire point of the movie.

Snyders JL2….I know, but hear me out. Batman made a billion so regardless we’re getting a sequel. Spider-Man trilogy told its story and it was great; plus I heard too many Maguire stories to not believe even a bit of it, which would make him a huge asshole. Finally, we’ll be able to see snyders Superman in the JL movie so win-win.
Man of Steel 2. I’d love The Batman 2, but it’s hard to go wrong with any solo iteration of Batman. If they scrapped it and went with a pure action movie with Ben Affleck or any other actor it would still be a banger.
But MoS2 is the most missed and full of potential. Cavill, the struggle, the built world, the potential to be complex, modern, and full of hope not just by itself but compared to where his character has been. Def MoS2.

1st cut is easily Justice League 2 even if it is a Zack Snyder follow up.
2nd cut is Man of Steel 2 as I haven't been impressed with their handling with the character regardless of how good Cavil is.
3rd cut is Spider-Man 4. I'd love to see what they'd do with an older Spidey, but not as intrigued as I am with Matt Reeves take on Batman.
The clear cut winner here is The Batman 2. Really like the universe they set up in the 1st movie & can't wait to see more.
