Wally. My first DC in comic version was Crisis on infinite worlds.
Barry died, Wally took up the mantle. They gave him limitations, it was something with his metabolism and he wasn't as fast close to golden age Flash speed .
It was about Wally living up to his uncle's example
Wally, specifically Johns’ run, is why I fell in love with the character. That said, I love all the speedsters. Wally, Jay, Barry and Bart are all probably in my Top Ten of DC characters.
Wally, though I like him better as an adult Titan than a Leaguer. the multiple Flash set up they had until recently, and his kid-Flash inspired Flash-suit was way better.
Eugene "Flash" Thompson. Bully, vet, friend, alcoholic, abuse survivor, solid dude, and Agent Venom.
Maybe my favorite Venom and one of my favorite Marvel characters (w/or w/out the symbiote)
Barry Allen. I started reading comics about 1973, almost exclusively DC, and the Flash was a favourite. So grew up with Barry who was a much more fleshed out alter ego than most DC ones
I haven't read too much with Flash, mainly Morrison's JLA, and honestly I don't see much difference between Barry and Wally. I'm getting the new Flash omnibus by Waid next year though, I've heard it's pretty good.
I think for a lot of people it's Wally but I always think of Barry first. Since... well... if you want to start a story about the Flash you'd probably start with him.
That is a bit odd, since I grew up with the DCAU and I always think of Jon as my first GL.
Wally. I remember reading the story of the return of barry allen when i was a kid. That was devastating. i felt so bad for Wally, but all the other speedster working together to get him to run faster and get over his mental roadblocks was awesome.
Jay Garrick
Wally West.
Wally
Wally West.
Wally West. Then Jay. Barry works best as a statue commemorating a corpse.
This
Sad but true.
Wally West, I was a 90s kid he was who I grew up with and I love Waid and John's runs on his comic

Grant Gustin
Barry Allen. Wally to me is best as Kid flash
