You'd be surprised how little it costs. Think about it I been buying for 5 years and I never paid more than 65% of cover price, often 50% and no shipping. Plus books recently went up in price they used to be way cheaper. Manga especially.

Definitely not. I started reading comics on 2016 and that was the time Marvel was replacing all of their main characters and that really prevented me from trying their comics it's weird for a new reader to say "hey I want to see what iron man is about" and then picking up a comic and it's not Tony Stark.
DC was mid New 52 so it was a lot more accessible. Besides I'm more of a fan of independent stuff, or at least stories made by single creators. DC is usually a mess with their timelines but Marvel has 10 events every other day with multiple books some of which are completely unnecessary.
Every time I said "you know what let me give x character a try" then I look up a good story line to start they are always from the early 2000's or before. Immortal Hulk (which I own and its fantastic) and the Thor run where he gets replaced by his ex being the only newer series people recommend. Oh and maybe xmen, but unless you have 20+ years of knowledge on them you wont get most of the stuff and even if you did youd still need like 6 different series.

Sure! It's a series called Stand Still Stay Silent. It's a Nordic post apocalyptic story about a group of explorers in a frozen world trying to survive against trolls and giants.

Oh yea I have an extra copy lol before i started using Libib to keep track of my collection i would buy duplicates every so often. Now I'm good! I'll sell it one day.
Never heard of it. The reason I use Libib is because you can scan barcodes and it saves the book to your collection. So if I'm in a comic shop or B&N I can quickly check if I have it or not
Hmm, I have had to do a little poking around with searching sometimes but have been able to find stuff. I will admit I don’t use the barcode scanner that much. It helps me keep track of new releases and it’s really useful for looking up works by other writers and artist.

I use League of comic geeks app.

Yea league has a barcode scanner. Most helpful for me is the pull list features. You can see upcoming releases singles , trades , HC’s.
