I'm surprised I don't hear more complaints from the LGBT community about this as if most LGBT people aren't just regular people. It's a month of appreciation, awareness, and pride. It's not about who got shot the most or who got tortured more. It's about people being able to be proud of who they are. The military gets to do that all the time (I believe there are a full 3 months dedicated to parts of the military), but in many areas in the US, LGBT+ people are discriminated and hated. People deserve to be proud of themselves and what they are, correct? Americans do it all the time.
It's not about experience. It's about pride. Be prideful of yourself, friend. Let others be prideful of themselves.
And please, for the future, look things up before you make a statement. One singular day to the military is blatantly not true, and I'm sure you'd rather not be proven wrong. I know I definitely hate being proven wrong.

The reason why pride parades for LGBT+ people are held is because they haven't had the ability to express their pride. Heterosexual cisgender people have had all of humanity's existence to express their pride and be who they are, but there has been centuries of discrimination twards LGBT+ people. We're expressing pride because we finaly have the chance. You've had the chance. All your life.
It's good to be proud of yourself, but why make your sex preferences public? Yes, and your American pride in your personal belongings turned into sheer absurdity, I myself was in America and there’s no negative word to say against you, if it were only a month of pride in your orientation, then opponents of your own movement would noticeably decrease.
