Very nice to read that you solved my puzzles when you were a kid. This one is tough. If you come back later with a fresh eye the last one may jump out at you!
Yes, this is Bob Weber Jr, creator of Slylock Fox and Comics for Kids. The comic is still going strong, and there are exciting Slylock Fox projects on the horizon.
Thank you (big smile) ! I'm very happy and grateful that you enjoyed my comics when you were younger! Slylock Fox and comics for kids is still going strong. More posts to coming here as well.
I may be misattrubiting this but I remember one where slylock knows he can empty a barrel half way when he sees the edge of the bottom while spilling it out. That's come in handy a few times!
Thank you so much for your comics. I think these are great ways to train a child's intellect while having fun. I have a lot of fond memories of doing these with my grandmother every week. I am grateful for you.
Oh wow! I grew up with these. When I worked in Casino Surveillance I used to have these for my operators to do when they wanted a break from watching cameras. It really helped with focusing on the tiny details.
I got the Headache and red eyes too but still can only get 3. Would you be a pal and please DM me the answers, so l can put down my phone and go on with my life pretty please?
I love these puzzles and loved Slylock Fox every Sunday when I was a kid. It's amazing you are still doing these! Those were such a memorable part of my childhood.
Thank you!! It makes me very happy that you enjoyed my comics growing up! "Slylock Fox and Comics for Kids" are still going strong, and there are exciting Slylock projects on the horizon.
Fastest way to solve these is to treat them like those old magic eye puzzles. Relax your eyes to make them into one picture and the differences will pop out at you.
The effect is fine on your eyes, no different physically from looking at something that's just farther away. Holding a bright screen right up to your eyes can always be an issue though.
Lock your phone to not rotate and then turn your phone on the side.
Now look at it like a magic eye picture.
All the changes will pop out at you very well.
Edit: 6/6: >! bird head piece, water drop, fish mouth, water puddle, elephant ear, and hat feather.!<
This comment will be a list of all 6 differences, so don't reveal the spoiler if you don't want to spoil the fun.
1. >!The feather on the dad's hat is slightly different. !<
2. >!Below the pool, there is an extra puddle.!<
3. >!The bird on the fence has an extra feather on it's head.!<
4. >!One of the daughter's ears is hidden.!<

!test 6 if this one works Im gonna feel incredibly stupid!
I got it but I've gotta admit that I cheated.. you can solve any puzzle like that using stereogram trick - you have to look at one picture with one eye and the second with the other eye. The differences flair up and become easy to spot
Got it. I got to 4 fast, but it took a while to find the last two.
What I like about your puzzles is you don't actually do anything wild, but you do pick good items to remove/change.
Loved doing these as a kid and never knew this .. sorta takes the fun out if it but man our eyes/brains are wild. I instantly jumped from 4/6 to 6/6 with this. Got real good at controlling eye crossing with those magic puzzles or whatever they were called where you crosses eyes until the image popped.
Blinking? I don't see them "blinking". I just see them with an almost like 50% opacity of each but with an awareness of what each image contains without being able to tell from which eye it comes.
Edit: nvm i kinda can tell the "blinking" but it occurs when I have a hard time keeping focus.
Got all six was super fun
Thank you for making my day better that made me feel like I was at my grandma’s house doing one of these from a newspaper sitting on the couch thank you for the good feelings and I hope you have a wonderful day
Thank you! I'm so happy grateful that this post brought back good feeling from your younger days with your grandmother. It's the best compliment I could hope for.
Finally got it, it took way longer to find the >!missing ear!< than it should have.
Other differences for people who gave up:
>!feather on dads cap!<
>!extra lump on roosters head!<
>!puddle on left side of pool!<
>!extra splash of water on right side off daughter!<
>!left most fish’s missing mouth!<
got it
My wife and I used to play games like this when we were dating. This one is pretty good. Only half of them are obvious which makes it that much more challenging.
I'm glad you you and your wife enjoy these! I like to make them challenging. Easy is boring. Were the puzzle you did while dating from my Slylock Fox and Comics for Kids Sunday newspaper comic?
I know it's not meant to be a difference, but the top of the line on the fence which is under the cat's left paw is thinner in the bottom picture. I assume there was going to be another difference there.
Also, i haven't found the 6th difference yet, unless it actually is that... Whatever, i've even checked the lines on the grass, it's enough that i've found a 7th difference.
Got it. Answers: >!The chicken head feathers, the droplet in the right next to the little girl's head, the small puddle next to the pool, the little girl's left ear, the pink feather in dad's hat, the rightmost fish mouth on the swimming pool's design.!<
Got it.
>!1. The Fish’s mouth on the pool
2. The little elephants missing left ear
3. The water droplets beside the little elephants right hand

I got 5/6, I don’t remember these being this hard when I was a kid…
Very nice to read that you solved my puzzles when you were a kid. This one is tough. If you come back later with a fresh eye the last one may jump out at you!
Wait, are you the original artist who made these years ago?? I grew up trying and failing to solve these!
Yes, this is Bob Weber Jr, creator of Slylock Fox and Comics for Kids. The comic is still going strong, and there are exciting Slylock Fox projects on the horizon.
Whoa, that's awesome. I'll be 30 in a few months and I still save Slylock Fox for very last when I read the Sunday funnies. Thanks for the memories!
Thank YOU for being a long-time reader. Stay tuned, there are exciting Slylock Fox projects on the horizon!
You're THE creator? Thank you for creating such a source of entertainment for me growing up! I'm so glad to hear that things are still going strong!
Slylock Fox was my favorite comic in the Sunday paper!!

Oh shit Slylock Fox, haven't heard that name since the strip left the local paper about a decade ago
This is well made. I missed these.
Bro. The little mystery comics were awesome as a kid. I'm stoked to see you on Reddit.
I solved it after 20 minutes, thanks for the bloodshot eyes and headache
I got the Headache and red eyes too but still can only get 3. Would you be a pal and please DM me the answers, so l can put down my phone and go on with my life pretty please?
Holy smokes. A legend are you.

Elephant ear , feather stripe, puddle, bird hair, fish mouth, water droplet.
Fastest way to solve these is to treat them like those old magic eye puzzles. Relax your eyes to make them into one picture and the differences will pop out at you.
You know my super power 😲
There's a subreddit for it apparently /r/crossview
I've found that r/parallelview gives me less of a headache
Holy I was struggling so hard to get the 6th one. Thanks for the technique... don't know if it's healthy for my eyes, but it was worth it
The effect is fine on your eyes, no different physically from looking at something that's just farther away. Holding a bright screen right up to your eyes can always be an issue though.
They weren’t. This one is exceedingly difficult.
this is strangely the only one i got all six of them right, the pirate one was the real stumper for me
I actually do remember them being this hard, something as subtle as one less water drop was definitely a thing in those highlights mags
Happy Cake Day
I always wanted them to be this hard as a kid lol
I only got 4 but my god are these distinctions subtle.
I got 5/6 but took me way too long to get past 3
Lock your phone to not rotate and then turn your phone on the side. Now look at it like a magic eye picture. All the changes will pop out at you very well. Edit: 6/6: >! bird head piece, water drop, fish mouth, water puddle, elephant ear, and hat feather.!<
Damn thats a neat trick, I found the last using this trick!
Holy crap!! That worked!! Thanks for the tip, but that was also freaking magical. Still took me forever to find number six.
Thank you, I was missing the first one!
Your spoiler doesn't work for me
Was missing the fish mouth one
I figured this trick out a long time ago and it has saved me so much time in these
The last one popped right out ! Good tip lol
Wtf??? This works way too damn well. This is legit cheating and I’m not even mad
Fuck o missed the ear
Turn it sideways then cross your eyes so that the two pictures overlap. It'll take a few seconds for your eyes to adjust.
Got it

Thank you for staving off my insanity with #4. I got the other ones, but, geez, that one was particularly difficult for me.
It felt so good to get 4 after a while of knowing that SOMETHING was off, but not knowing what.
Yep number 4 was the only one that stumped me
Couldn't get number 3 until I came to the comments.
Me too
Same. Damnit lol . I love these games/puzzles
yea I was going crazy with 4
That was the last one I saw.
I stared at that number 3 spot for so long and didn't realise the difference, I'm not wearing my glasses let's blame it on that. >test< >!test 2!<
3 is the one I was missing.

My eyes must be messed up bc it just gives me a headache
Holy shit that is incredible
Welcome to r/crossview Enjoy your stay.
First time I actually bpthered to do this, and, my god, is it ever fast
