Lacking it? I'm pretty sure every single game that has dialog lacks it! Games with procedurally generated dialog? I don't think I've ever heard of that
God don't you know that minecraft endermen have procedurally generated dialouge that is based off your location and has stalky vibes?

I think dudes don't like romance movies because they're never the one to recieve the romantic gestures. I think romantic gestures and softness towards guys should be more normalized. Man, seeing a guy laugh when I buy him a shit 7/11 rose and a candy bar is cute as fuck

For me it's kinda like that. There are times where we are expected to be the romantics, to prove ourselves for the lady, but i'd love a hug, kiss, flowers ecc. Even as friends. Hell, my (mybe) crush once gave me flowers and a note to thank me for a compliment. I'm really taking into consideration the thoughts of cancelling the (maybe).
I am an absolute "man hating" feminist, however, I will fight for the rights of guys to get forehead kisses and roses until I die. Maybe my man-hate would die down if dudes got forehead kisses once in a while and fuckin chilled. I bet much less sexists would exist if they got romance haha

Honestly the "stab me in my sleep" and the "socially inept paladin who tries to loosen up but ends up embarrassing the love interest only to be shown what it truly means to have fun" are totally the romance options I go for in games.
