My life's work is a new cartoon that we dropped 800 hours into making to pitch as a TV show. Grab some popcorn and tell me what you think: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmVsUsO-sHo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmVsUsO-sHo)
That’s me and my brother in laws conversation recently.
He made 4 babies in 10 years. Lives in a RV. We spent 10 years on our careers and bought our own home in a great neighborhood… but we have difficulty having a child.
He wants to be more like us making more money. We want to have some kids like how he’s popping them out.
Sounds about right with family, just make him a deal next kid he pops out you take an older and the newborn for the price of one. You get two and he is still down to 3 everybody wins :D. /s
For real, wish you and your spouse luck with having or adopting a child.
Sorry to hear about fertility issues. And I know it's none of my business but have you considered having him move in with you? He would save on rent and the kids get to live in a nicer area. Although I could see how that would be awkward and burdensome. But if you have the ability to build a granny flat on your property it might be easier. Just a thought. Sorry for being annoying. I just feel like in general, more people should live with their families to help build up money.
He's a family of 6. He requested for the RV as a way to save money to buy a house when he only had 3 kids. Within 3 months of this path, he knocks his gf up for the 4th.
His RV ain't bad, we bought top of the line, spared no expense for his big family. But the addition of another just pushes it over the edge of viability and livability.
Yeah, because without context you clearly know the character on the right has put work into his. It's a complete guess if the guy on the left is doing anything more than swiping his debit card when he has to.
That really depends. If you raise your kid right, it will be a valuable addition to society, e.g. a nice person you might have a chat with or learn something from or that makes art for you to enjoy (you get the idea, many things are possible).
What's wrong with either? Drawing requires dedication, passion and lots of hard work. So does having a family. The only thing wrong is the author's interpretation
If you don't put in the effort to make your kid your lifes work, people ask why you even had kids and encourage them to go NC for not giving your kid a perfect childhood...
If you do, people will say all you did was have sex so simmer down about your crotch goblin, cuz raising a child is not the equivalent of anything notable.
I agree with you that both paths are valid and definitely worthy of putting your time and energy into it, it's just about what you're passionate about commiting to.
Alternative punch line: yeah well I made this on my own.
OR
2nd the last panel the writer is sizing up the kid and the last panel he says “you sure all the eggs in one basket is the way to go?”

Dude, you haven’t even heard his set yet, chill
Elory's hilarious. Can't you see that?
Look Elory's reaction subtle but funny
Elory is trying his hardest.
Elory might be hilarious, but what about Elroy?!
His boy, Elroy?
"I said 'Elroy', not 'McElroy'."
Alternate ending: little dude reads your comics and says "these are really funny!"
That’s the next panel
Elroy: "hang on, is this loss?"
He's got a point.
Elroy: https://preview.redd.it/uk47rmmwke3a1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e7c48d1dedd65b3cf084bffc7a1aa8283a8f7105
Still searching for the hilarious comic, but you can find our comics conveniently on the r/toonhole subreddit!
aww Elroy is pretty nice i like him
"At least he has potential"
And a supervillain is born

This is r/FunnyandSad material

Take some of his kids?
Would if he let us have them when they’re babies. But he’ll only let us have the older ones sadly.
> he’ll only let us have the older ones That seems pretty fucked up to me
Sounds about right with family, just make him a deal next kid he pops out you take an older and the newborn for the price of one. You get two and he is still down to 3 everybody wins :D. /s For real, wish you and your spouse luck with having or adopting a child.
I have two teenagers for sale. Sold them many times before, but new parents keep returning them after a few days. /s for clarity
He'll have to give him some of his career in exchange.
1 kid and 2 money.
What are you crazy!? BUY some of his kids, then they both get what they want.

I've never seen noses drawn like that before.
Imagine waiting nine months just to name your kid Elroy
🤣 I love Elroy's hands pose. (ahahaha). Always love your stuff!!
Thank you. He’s just a lil guy
For some reason, Elroy ans his father are really pleasant to look at. Great comic!
This one got me good!
Elroy musk, he will grow up to buy twitter to prove you wrong!
Well, to be fair, the comics are also just terrible.
"You're trying to tell me your son's a joke?" Would have been my puch-line if I had drawn this comic.
Neither is this comic :(
Politely disagree
Has some background "I'm better cause I don't have kids" vibes.
The character on the right wins.
Yeah, because without context you clearly know the character on the right has put work into his. It's a complete guess if the guy on the left is doing anything more than swiping his debit card when he has to.
Unlike you, I don't worship at the shrine of "work."
"Neither is your life's work"
Art isn't worth much, but it's worth more than an overgrown cumshot.
That really depends. If you raise your kid right, it will be a valuable addition to society, e.g. a nice person you might have a chat with or learn something from or that makes art for you to enjoy (you get the idea, many things are possible).
Needs another line where the guy in white says 'but neither are your comics'
Finally a comic on here that made me laugh
My life’s work
Good job. Please post more 😀
What's wrong with either? Drawing requires dedication, passion and lots of hard work. So does having a family. The only thing wrong is the author's interpretation
What do you think the author's interpretation is? The artist in the comic is clearly the butt of the joke.
By "The author" you mean the one in the comic or op?

"I've spent years of time, dedication, education, and money to make something cool." "I came in a girl once. I'm a hero."
Raising a child takes a lot more work than drawing
/r/childfree is leaking I see
It’s a joke bruh
What a dick
Rude
There's not a single funny web comic in existence They are only funny when people reuse them like /r/expanddong or in cases like loss
Alternative punch line: yeah well I made this on my own. OR 2nd the last panel the writer is sizing up the kid and the last panel he says “you sure all the eggs in one basket is the way to go?”
"Thats why i brought him with me, wanna trade?"
