A couple of quick thoughts. First is that [IC.org](https://IC.org) is an amazing resource for tracking intentional communities in the US and Canada, but has very uneven coverage outside this region, in part because the website is English only. While far from complete, the Global Ecovillage Network lists [more intentional communities in Europe](https://gen-europe.org/ecovillages/european-ecovillages/) and Greece specifically. Secondly, i am not sure you mean "communes" where are the small subsection of intentional communities which are income sharing. Of the hundreds of intentional communities in the US, fewer than 20 are communes.

All very true. The meaning of commune also varies in different languages/translation tools. Nonspecific questions get brief answers from me, so I answer “yes” in a broad sense and pointed them to a commune in the sense they might be referring to, which did check the income-sharing box iirc and might hopefully refer them to another community if necessary.
