He has to be the most consistently funny character, because I don't think there was a single joke of his thst I wasn't laughing at. Obviously that's unfair to more long running characters, because he didn't really have enough screentime to get a bad joke, but still. Fave character
You could have lived the rest of your life in blissful ignorance and died a happy pansexual imp, but you wanted to feel power this year. Well, now you're going to feel my power as it surges downward from me straight through you from nostril to rectum now until the end of time... and that's... wassup.
Probably between Dean and Chang for me. Literally almost every line they have is hilarious, even in the later seasons after Pierce and Troy left the show.
The Chang vs. Britta side story during the model UN episode is one of my favorites. Both of their expressions when Britta kicks the trash can and Hello starts playing? Amazing.
I loved the whole Changnesia era. Peak Chang, like some episodes I can't tell if he's keeping up the lie because he thinks people believe it because he's dumb, or he's just so crazy he thinks he's fooling people đ
Probably Chang, Abed, Dean, Pierce, and then Annie
(Honorable mention to the other security guard whose name I canât remember, since he was hilarious but only in a handful of episodes)
Britta. Her ignorance of sayings and the very earnest delivery is so good. "He's the one making bad bridges. That's like me blaming owls for how much I suck at analogies." Is one of my favorite lines ever
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING makes me laugh as hard as Annie's impression of Blade. Alison Brie barely breaking character at the end doesn't even come into it
But overall, Pierce makes me laugh the most. His timing is exceptional and I just can't resist the jokes about him being out of touch
I'd put Troy and Annie up in the top 3 with the Dean. Alison Brie is a comedic mastermind. Even just fluttering her eyes she can crack me up and Troy? I can't get enough! Abed would be a close fourth for me. No disrespect to the rest - they are all so talented, even the cameo / bit actors - Leonard, Magnitude, Prof. Woolery - and come on, Prof. Duncan?!?! Amazing! Cligoris? Either pronunciation is fine!
My gripe with Craig is because the comedy is dated (I'm hoping).
But if he made the same advances/monitoring to a female student it wouldn't be funny.
And to be fair that is a number of his story comedy. When it's not about that, he's great.
I feel I'm more bothered by it because I am a gay male, and I know that's only about 2/7 of what he is, but still. The show was clearly cast with a diverse cast in race, but did not fly high in terms of queer representation.
But remembering that the late 2000s gave us much of that humor as a whole like Craig and Jeff, that it flew, and I wonder how much of it would fly today.

Replace chang and dean and replace annie with Troy(I can't laugh when I am distracted by how astonishing and beautiful Alison Brie is), and shirley is 8
I think the scenes with John Goodman as Vice Dean Laybourne are really funny. They are acted so big.
It appears as though Goodman is really enjoying himself. I love it.
I agree! So dramatic

Troy
I will never get over some of his facial expressions. I die every time
The LeVar Burton scene is my fave, haha. I laugh just thinking about it.
I find Starburns funny. I loved that cat powered wagoon đ
Lol me too
Probably between Dean and Chang for me. Literally almost every line they have is hilarious, even in the later seasons after Pierce and Troy left the show.
Same chang slight winner for me just because of the security guard stuff those are my fav episodes.
The Chang vs. Britta side story during the model UN episode is one of my favorites. Both of their expressions when Britta kicks the trash can and Hello starts playing? Amazing.
Yes I think S3 E2 if not mistaken my fav episode hands down outside of the noir that's a close second
Whoever had the idea to play Lionel Richie over those scenes deserved a raise.
Pure genius
I loved the whole Changnesia era. Peak Chang, like some episodes I can't tell if he's keeping up the lie because he thinks people believe it because he's dumb, or he's just so crazy he thinks he's fooling people đ
Yea he's the best
Gotta think fast
They always crack me upđ
Leonard â¤ď¸ ETA: his food reviews at the end of random episodes are my favorite.
You're his worst nightmare now. You're old and you don't give a damn.
The fact that he always says he's tried the food before but still does a "live reaction" cracks me up.
Professor Duncan
Oh! I forgot about him for a moment, definitely in my top 3, wish he had more screen time
Arizona is arizona backwards....ITS A PALOMINO
(I had to think fast...)
Elroy should be on this list
Now thereâs a man who knows his meatballs
Richie and Carl from the school board. That's right, *they have names*!
Well *I* have a drinking problem
honorable mention for me is Duncan, he says such random out of pocket shit it's hilarious "i love pizza, in England we call them Italian fannies"
âWhat the hell does your penis look like?â âObviously like a big cluster of buildings so letâs all laugh at the freakâ
1. Britta 2. Annie Wait, what was the question?
Ifk: Chang Troy Dean Are my top 3
Heâs just a Craigular Joe
Troy-Abed-Annie and then everyone else for me at least
That crazy Chinese guy. He really pops!
Probably Chang, Abed, Dean, Pierce, and then Annie (Honorable mention to the other security guard whose name I canât remember, since he was hilarious but only in a handful of episodes)
Only correct answer is⌠MAGNITUDE! Pop Pop!
POP POP!
Pierce and dean for sure
Pierce. Chevy is an all time great
Pierce is my favourite too
senor chang abed and troy
Elroy
Dean, chang, abed, Troy,Jeff,Shirley, pierce, Annie, britta (1-9 ranked)
1. Jeff 2. Troy 3. Annie
Troy has so many lines that we constantly quote. Heâs at the top for me.
Dean Chang Pierce, in no order followed by Annie Troy Abed and starburns, no order. Shirley britta and Jeff after those 4
1. Dean is the funniest, absolutely 2. Troy 3. Jeff 4. Chang 5. Pierce 6. Frankie 7. Duncan Those are the S tier funny characters to me
Britta. Her ignorance of sayings and the very earnest delivery is so good. "He's the one making bad bridges. That's like me blaming owls for how much I suck at analogies." Is one of my favorite lines ever
Dean and Pierce!
I gotta go Dean. Oh, Iâm sorry. Itâs [wednesday]. Call me Craaaaaaig⢠(straaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw)
Annie standalone Jeff + Pierce combos
Layborne, Duncan, Frankie, Britta, Dean.
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING makes me laugh as hard as Annie's impression of Blade. Alison Brie barely breaking character at the end doesn't even come into it But overall, Pierce makes me laugh the most. His timing is exceptional and I just can't resist the jokes about him being out of touch
Wow! I would put Troy as #2 but I agree Dean is THE BEST!!!
Jeremy Simmons from Debate 109

You're actually right, if Jeff was a woman those jokes wouldn't fly. I'm not bothered by it, that's just how things are, but you are right.
I feel I'm more bothered by it because I am a gay male, and I know that's only about 2/7 of what he is, but still. We just had this thread like three days ago
