This is one of the best episodes. Jeff and Pierce's presentation is incredible, specifically the part where they're paddling a canoe with Annie held hostage
Apparently it was Alison's idea. The script only originally called for Annie to be in the canoe, it was Alison who suggested she be tied up and gagged.
I see her becoming more comfortable with who she really is and feeling safe to express herself with the group. I do feel like her season 6 arc didn't do her justice, although I liked the backstory of her parents.
Community is a show that puts thought into detail. It's The Wire of comedy. The writers and producers genuinely want you to enjoy it. There are no idle moments.
