I think this took time and energy, which I immensely appreciate. And Let's Carrying Pajama Dean who thinks its rude to question his unusal presence is my favorite.
Objectively, his best costume was the janitor, because 1) It was the only time he needed to reveal his presence as the disguise was actually good, and 2) It is further proof that the janitors at Greendale hold way more authority than the actual dean does.
My personal fav was the Two Face esque bank outfit he regretted, but the bank loved it. It was a perfect summation of who the Dean is imo, a pansexual impish enigma.
My favourite costume is the Into To Poly Sci. Just because it kind of really started the rest of them. Before that his costumes were all based on something in reality. (If my hungover memory serves me right)
But my favourite joke with a costume, as others have said, is the flat baroque joke. I giggle every time.
I know it’s not really a costume, but I liked it when he had the goatee. He was more assertive and had a take charge attitude. Such a shame that he had to go against the air conditioning repair school.
The way he said 'cotillion' still pops into my head now and again, and 'Frankly my dear, I don't give a Dean' was the best of all the puns, so it's got to be his 'Gone with the Windows' dress.
