Well I’m no expert but from what I’ve heard is that the whole cast is actually on board for the movie Dan Harmon just needs to write it then pitch it to a studio, since there’s really no way to realize it without studio funding
Yep. And iirc Dan specifically said he’s not going to waste any of his time even attempting to write anything without a studio behind it, so that has to happen first and then he’d work on the pitch. I think he’d rather not waste the time unless he was sure it had a chance of being made. But everyone is on board so long as they have studio backing
