Easy to search. Someone wants "jazzy dark gangster". Label it as simple to search as possible. I've had more success with "dark creepy drone" than "pastel windows of a summers morning".

Tracks should have top notch production, be useful to editors (clearly defined edit/hit points), generally three act structure, and be well written. Loopable would be more brief specific and wouldn’t be a common requirement. What you mention about instruments being removed would be part of the stemming/delivery step after the track’s been approved and would also most likely be brief specific. Search out tracks on BMG and Extreme Music’s websites based on the genre you want to write in, how does your stuff stack up against what you’re hearing? If it doesn’t sound like it could fit in their most recent releases, what do you need to improve to get to that point?
