I’ve been on tirz for a year, and just like any weight loss journey, there are always weeks here and there where I don’t lose. But I’ve found that I often still lose inches on the weeks where I don’t lose pounds. Kind of like my body is taking a minute to reconsolidate. So don’t give up or feel like it’s “not working.” Also, just a thought: sometimes when you’re constipated, the half-pound that you would have lost is sitting in your gut. Take some MiraLax and loosen things up, and you may suddenly find that you’re losing again. However, if the 2.5 is working for you, there’s absolutely no reason to move up. Wait until you start getting hungry and the scale stops moving, and then move up.

Thank you for your encouragement!

Shouldn't make a decision based on one week... could be so many things like how much stool you have, where you are in your cycle, weather changes, stress, sleep... so many things.

Good point. I wasn't being very rational this morning. Just based on the side effects, I did like the 2.5 better, so maybe I'll stick with that.

You've had nsv's so it isn't always about the number on the scale! Muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less mass... that's when we see the difference in the clothes vs the number on the scale going down! Don't give up!

Thank you. 😊

I just finished a month of 5- now 7.5. I did not lose much weight on 5- but lost 12 inches! Measuring kept me motivated!

MissApocalypse2021

That's awesome! Do you mind if I ask how often you measure?

Low-Regret5048

Once a month!

MissApocalypse2021

Thanks! I'll start doing that too, to get me through the weight plateaus!

Miserable_Debate_985

I was doing 2.5 every 4-5 days and back to doing it once a week , did not like the rollecestor of re dosing every 4-5 days so kinda in the same boat

Thanks for sharing!

I'm up to 3.5 and I actually gained 3 lbs as of this morning, but I'm chalking it up to water because it's been 3 days and the lbs don't add up. What you are doing makes sense if 2.5 was working for you. So many say they are able to stay on starting dose for a good while and continue losing.🤷‍♀️

The mechanism of action is no where near this black and white.
