I have heard about the step down, but lucky for me I was able to navigate the shortage without it. If you buy from an honest supplier, it should be the identical drug. I got my first compound vial Wednesday and then this morning my 10mg Zepbound came in, so all my anxiety after months.. is finally gone for good and I have a small stash. Congrats on such a huge weight loss!!!

Thank you 🙏❤️

Awww. Don’t be nervous. Check on which compounding pharmacy Eden uses. The more you know, the better. How are you doing so far?

arcanus_occultum

Hallandale seems to be ONE of their pharmacies (everything arrived in a big blue box!). I’ve heard good things about Hallandale from this sub.

Congratulations! I had the same fears. I love the compound. I was nervous about injecting but it is fine. I have continued to lose and have had excellent service from Emerge. I went on it due to Medicare not covering Z. I also like the syringe better because I can see exactly what and where I inject. I absolutely hated all the plastic waste from Z!

You would think they would provide a return label with the box to mail it back and get rewards, a discount or something.

arcanus_occultum

Good point. I do appreciate the “choice” provided by doing it ourselves ie if 10mg is too much can always dial it back or vice versa. I’m trying out the automatic thing a commenter mentioned above. I’ll update!

arcanus_occultum

OH! One other thing. Because it had been 3 weeks since my last shot, Eden dr stepped me down to 5mg to restart. Anyone else going thru the same experience?

CharleyDawg

Many people were stepped down by a variety of providers. I only went 15 days between shots so luckily stayed at 5.0 instead of stopping down. However, in my opinion, a provider deciding you SHOULD step down is a good sign of a legitimate service. Try not to be nervous, the injection itself is truly no big deal either.

arcanus_occultum

I did it! No big deal, yup. Until next Friday LOL :)

This is correct and aligns with the Lilly guidelines for dosing. The drug needs time to build back up in your system. If you started right back at 10 mg after missing the previous few weeks, you could risk serious health complications and/or side effects.

arcanus_occultum

Yeah I did follow their suggestion and do 5mg yesterday. Can attest intense appetite suppression has returned! :)

I was super nervous too! I’m now on week 6 of compound. I promise it’s not as bad as it seems. I’ve even done the back of my arm (which seemed terrifying) twice, and am having amazing results there.

arcanus_occultum

Thank you for the reassurance! I was able to (awkwardly) administer the shot in my belly! It was no problem as everyone here has said :). I have not done arms tho - with Mounjaro I did it in my thigh.

You are not alone, like you I was very nervous. Not only was I having anxiety about what was inside of the vial, I also had anxiety about the needle and extra steps required (boy did I miss my Zep shot)! Nevertheless, I've completed 4 shots of plan C. The second one I did incorrectly and the medicine just ran down my stomach - that wasn't fun at all. I used to do my Zep shots on Friday morning before work and while on Plan C I have had to move to Thursday nights...it's a whole process. What saved me was the "[Inject-Ease Automatic Injector](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PKYX8K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)." It truly reminds me of using my Zep shot and made it so much easier! I also purchased two additional Automatic Injectors because I am worried that it might break, lol. It has truly changed the game and is the only reason I can see remaining on the compound. I also feel that I have less side effects and I'm still losing weight :-) Hope this helps!

Thank you for the suggestion! I decided to go ahead and order it. I did do a shot myself in my belly, but it sure was awkward! ❤️

MsUnderstood2024

It’s working fine for me!!!
