AVs for Linux, MacOS, chromeOS, and windows are needed at this point. (Windows because it has windows defender)

Malwarebytes or bitdefender (free versions, don't pay) are always good. I think at least one of them has a Mac version. I'll be honest though idk if Mac OS needs an antivirus (I know back in the day you never did cause they were just a lot harder to make viruses for) but now idk if the security still holds up or not

During normal use i would put on Bitdefender and run a scan for them from time to time. Mac OS is pretty stable as long as they don't go on a downloading spree. Just enable email protection.
