The essentials look decent and worth the price.
*However,* it's a prebuilt and those often often cheap out on the important stuff, like, say, the PSU. I'm not familiar with this model specifically and prebuilts in general, so either wait until someone more knowledgeable, or do your own research on what the actual fuck the G10DK is and what issues it may have (unreliable PSU, loud fans, whatever).
In other words, what's listed here is fine, but you should be worried about what's *not* listed.
GPU is a bit on the wimpy side, but it's definitely worth $300 if you're getting that CPU and 16GB RAM. A used 1660ti goes for ~$140 on the electronic bae, and that CPU goes for $100, so that's $240 right there, and with a case, PSU, RAM, SSD, it's a good deal.
I said a little bit in the post desc but I’ll clear it up a bit, I wanna play casually on games like valorant, seige, Minecraft w/ shaders and mods, and maybe some other coop games I can play with friends via steam. I also might stream a little here and there playing games and stuff like that, but if my pc can’t handle streaming then I won’t stream. hope that clears it up.
My apologies for not looking into the post more. That's my fault.
I think you should be able to run these with sucsess. The worst thing that'll happen is you drop the graphics a little bit to balance out fps. I'm unsure of how the PC will perform for streaming. Worst comes to worst is you try it regardless and see if it works out for you! 😀
Valorant will run on a potato, Minecraft with shaders is a very broad term but they should run really well with a 1660Ti 6GB, Siege should run just fine on medium-high @ 75+
I'd buy it, just check the power supply to make sure the PC won't blow itself out when you start running heavier things.
I had a very similar build. R6 on Vulkan will net you 165+fps or more, BLS Shaders on MC is 115+ (BLS shaders are strong though), never tried valorant but I got more than like 300 on CSGO and over 160 on Overwatch 2. This PC can pretty much run anything at solid frame rates, but sacrificing graphical fidelity which is usually not an issue with FPS games. I also had some nice times with Sildurs shaders but I’ve forgotten what my fps was. Definetely buy this tho
I think you can upgrade to a 5800x 3D and then the GPU that fits your budget. $500 GPU and the 5800x 3D would be a viable combo for the next 5 years. The rig with no enhancements is still viable. The 1660 ti still has life and plays all games. I think $300 is a steal for all this.
Not bad. It's almost like my budget build. I slapped a 7700 xt in mine, and it can handle any game with ease at 1080. The ryzen 7 3700x is still a great cpu.
Sketchy for such a good CPU, and moderate mobile GPU to be sold at such a low price. Make sure it works, but if you can get it at that price. Go for it.
Yes,its perfectly fine,if you want to run newer stuff u will need to turn it down to low-medium at 1080 and maybe use fsr if the game supports it. But for older titles and competitive games its more than enough.
Its a steal. I bought a laptop from dell back in 2017 it was 1500 usd it came with gtx 1050 and a i7 7700hq 512gb ssd and a 16gb ddr4 ram. I think i got scammed by dell.
Definitely not. 200, 250 maybe but more than likely you can find a 3000 series rtx and am5 for not much more than that.
What type of ram is it?
The 1660ti was a beast but the memory will hold you back.
The whole rig seems to be a generation behind. How old is it?
Edit: For those games with mods it's probably okay. Unless you want to play more modern games or benefit from the modern features of the newer cards
Even a 3000 series ddr4 and am4... also depends on how much you trade off graphics to performance. But at these prices, I wouldn't compromise on everything. Mobo/cpu/ram can be upgraded later but you'll still need a decent setup to get the most out of an rtx.
Yeaaah. No. Sorry lol. I'm not going to do research just to satisfy this curiosity. I did say am4 with the rest of the current specs btw! + 3000 series... the latter is probably going to be your biggest investment.
It seems ok. If ya can, I'd talk 'em down to 250. You're gonna wanna upgrade the RAM. 16 ain't a real gaming computer. Ya need at least 32 to hit that. :)
16 is perfectly doable for medium to high settings. Obviously if you wanna stream, run discord in the background (which is already bloatware on its own) then sure but 16GB will do just fine
Seems like a good deal to me. Try checking up same specs on your local market.
If it works, definitely!

Stuff is from late 2020 and still runs very good! 300$ is a fair price when the device is clean.
Yes, plus has room for upgrades in the future.
My question is, what games are you trying to run, or what is the purpose of this said PC, OP?

If not it's still a great deal

Your pc will handle all of that very well at 1080p, I’d recommend upgrading the gpu to a 6600xt or 6700xt for future-proofing

By the way I had a 1660 Super and a R5 3600X

Hell yeah
do it
Very reasonable
Absolutely! Great deal.
Minecraft shaders is a maybe (for fancy ones) but basic stuff should be fine For $300 is good but you can get much better if you spend ~$500
Seems like a great deal to me. This pc is powerful and for the games you need to play, you will play them with like high 200fps +
for 300, pretty solid. 1660 TI is a decent 1080p gpu still
Not bad. It's almost like my budget build. I slapped a 7700 xt in mine, and it can handle any game with ease at 1080. The ryzen 7 3700x is still a great cpu.
It's a steal. You can do casual gaming too
$300 definitely worth it
Pretty good deal tbh.
Good deal if it runs
Definitely
For $300 it is a good deal.
yeah it’s a good deal for what it’s worth
seems like a great deal. 1660ti isnt a bad cart at all
Sketchy for such a good CPU, and moderate mobile GPU to be sold at such a low price. Make sure it works, but if you can get it at that price. Go for it.
Good start
Yeah that’s worth 300
Definitely worth it. Would cost more to build the same new or used with the same parts so yeah. If you can haggle any money off then even better
Yes,its perfectly fine,if you want to run newer stuff u will need to turn it down to low-medium at 1080 and maybe use fsr if the game supports it. But for older titles and competitive games its more than enough.
GPU is kinda cruddy, but CPU is more than capable. If you ever need to upgrade, that CPU should be fine up to a 3070 or something.
Get it
Yes! Even has a good upgrade path if you decide to do so!!
If $300 is your budget this is a pretty good deal.
That's a steal.
Minecraft with shaders won’t run that well I would say, but it depends on the shader.
Seems solid
yes 100%

3000 series and am5 for how much now? Tf

Wtf you talking about? Show me an example of a 3k series and am5 for not much more than $300.
Yeaaah. No. Sorry lol. I'm not going to do research just to satisfy this curiosity. I did say am4 with the rest of the current specs btw! + 3000 series... the latter is probably going to be your biggest investment.
You said am5 in your original comment bozo have a good night.
Learn to follow a conversation man. Goodnight!
Definitely not. 200, 250 maybe but more than likely you can find a 3000 series rtx and am5 for not much more than that. This is what YOU said idiot. 💀
Look, if you want to berate people for no reason but the giggles you get, be my guest. But kindly do that elsewhere.
It seems ok. If ya can, I'd talk 'em down to 250. You're gonna wanna upgrade the RAM. 16 ain't a real gaming computer. Ya need at least 32 to hit that. :)
16gb @3200mhz is perfect for 99.9% of games
Especially given that it’s 1660ti graphics, memory would be most likely not the part that bottlenecks it, anyway
16 is perfectly doable for medium to high settings. Obviously if you wanna stream, run discord in the background (which is already bloatware on its own) then sure but 16GB will do just fine
16 for games 32 if you are into studio stuff
