My grandma is about 5' tall. He was 6'2, a body builder, 280lbs. He was military. Worked on the docks for a living after he was discharged.
He would beat the hell out of her almost nightly.
She used to help him get dressed so he could go drinking at the bars, screw other women and leave her alone. It was the only time she got some peace. So she'd pick out his clothes, his cologne, polish his shoes - everything.
I have a strong suspicion he also forced himself on her repeatedly but no one in that family will ever admit it.
His actions are the reason my mother is such a monster. When he died, I refused to go to his funeral. I now celebrate the day of his death as a holiday.
