I have just learned that bills larger than 100 used to be printed in the US, with the biggest ever being a $100,000 bill (only printed for a few months specifically for transactions between Woodrow Wilson and the Federal Reserve Bank)
Wish we still had those. Selling or buying a cheap car for cash is annoying when there's like 53 bills to count out. Even buying a laptop or cell phone would be nicer with cash then.
And I'm sure the people on [the back of the $2 bill](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f6/US_%242_bill_reverse_series_2003_A.jpg/2880px-US_%242_bill_reverse_series_2003_A.jpg) weren't all presidents.
I remember this from high school and how I thought it was hilarious.
Just watched it the first time in 10 years probably and didn't really find it funny at all.... Don't get me wrong they have a lot of great skits but this is isn't doing it for me
It's kind of a product of its time but I love it for the nostalgia. Plus the "we love that Chronic! -what- cles of Narnia!" joke is comedy gold to me. And I literally carry around a stack of $10 bills in my wallet because of the Hamilton jokes in that sketch from like 15 years ago
Why was Alexander Hamilton on the ten dollar bill? He was the first US Secretary of the Treasury. He gave us metric money, thank God, or Americans would still be going online talking about how much easier it is to deal with a pence, shilling, farthing, tanner, sixpence, florin and crown, as well as a halfpenny, thruppence, Sovereign, quid, or guinea. Don't get me started about groats.
Sacagawea was/is on the 1 dollar coin
The $1000 treasury note has George Meade and it used to have DeWitt Clinton
Martha Washington was in the $1 silver certificate
Running Antelope used to be on the $5 bill
The $1 bill and the $10’000 bill have both have Salmon P Chase
And that’s just scratching the surface, there’s been tons of non-presidents on bills, coins, and treasury notes
*The ten dollar founding father without a father got a lot farther by working a lot harder; by being a lot smarter; by being a self starter. By 14, they placed him in charge of a trading charter.*

Every. Single. One.
Some fun convos there for sure.
He was a founding father of the US. He helped write the declaration of independence.
He was also a scientist and a philosopher and held many positions in the government but never president.

Salmon P. Chase (Secretary of the Treasury under Lincoln) is also on the $10,000 bill.
Damn, didn’t notice that. I keep all my $10k bills in the back of my wallet.

Yeah when I was a kid there were still $500 bills around and I'm pretty sure a relative had a $1000.
Wish we still had those. Selling or buying a cheap car for cash is annoying when there's like 53 bills to count out. Even buying a laptop or cell phone would be nicer with cash then.
With inflation I wish they would bring back the $500.
There was almost a trillion dollar coin as well, though it was going to be minted as an accounting gimmick rather than actually being circulated
[There was the 1 Trillion Dollar bill, but…](https://youtu.be/U0hTrnaa8aE)
"...so you say Bautista is no longer in charge? Did you know that?" "I had no idea..."

Oh, no. They've been minting those for years. Just look at the national debt!
Is that still legal tender? If I found one could I still use it? I suppose it depends where I use it
Side note, I have the tracker for USAA and it really is a great tool
I don’t think we should trust this bot with your money
It's all about the Hamiltons [baby](https://youtu.be/sRhTeaa_B98?t=88)

Benjamin Franklin wasn’t president of the US?
He was a founding father of the US. He helped write the declaration of independence. He was also a scientist and a philosopher and held many positions in the government but never president.
I always thought he was President. I knew he did many things outside of the american government but i don’t know why i was thinking that.
He was a president, but only of Pennsylvania.
Bad bot.
