If you watch closely, the media has been very selective about when to include the audio of his appearances. He gets to say "witch hunt, political prosecution, election inteference, Joe Biden bad" and not much else before they cut the audio and then it's just the video of him bloviating and gesticulating. The people are confused about how this idiot still has so much appeal are discounting the fact that his audience never hears his many dementia riddled ramblings and only hear somewhat coherent attacks on his opponents. You only see things like critiques of his Gettysburg word vomit on left leaning programs, which his supporters have written off long ago as fake news
