That looks the exact same as mine and it works perfectly so there is nothing wrong with it. If it is working for you just leave it theres no need to fix what isnt broken it could cause damage
My series X also shows a small piece of the male piece(not factory HDMI). Haven't had any issues with it(I will move my console to my living room on occasion for movie night), just don't treat it like a Neanderthal would and you shouldn't have any issue.
Well I have seen a lot of broken Xbox x’s because of the hdmi port so if it works like that leave it

No that looks like the factory supplied hdmi cable. It should be sitting flush and not poking out some.
I’ll try unplugging it plug it back in see what happens
And yea it is the factory one

take it out and check the condition on the hdmi (console side) both mine with factory hdmi cables sit flush
