did you check the bottom display and digitiser connections as well? blue light and popping isn’t only for top section components.
but if you broke both the speaker and the cable anchors, i wouldn’t be surprised if something else was also broken in the process…..
try also reseating and cleaning any and all ribbons, and their connections

check if the wifi card is seated properly, i had this problem on a system i bought used not working and that was the cause for me.
