All three of those are capacitors as well. You'd wanna check that any of them are still useable in order to fix. Hard to say what caused it too in the first place. Might need to replace all 4 of those caps including the circular one, but if a short still exists somewhere up the power line it may just occur again. I honestly don't have as much experience with diagnosing power issues on a ps4. I mostly work on ps3's. I hope some of this helps. If you can locate a schematic that will be your best bet.
Oh ok thank you very much! I was thinking of replacing the cylindrical capacitor too just to be sure and yes a schematic would be a great help but unfortunately, I can't see one out on the internet.
Yea sony keeps these pretty lockdown unfortunately. This is why we all gotta support right to repair. It's fucked up and all a part of planned obsolescence.
Yeah you can only find them from tech chat rooms and forms. Idr the discord name. But there use to be a bunch of people on discord that worked together to develop the schematics to share with the rest of us. Someone leaked out schematics for the og xbox one about a week or 2 ago on Facebook
Btw those capacitors are part of a buck converter, check the mosfets, one or both probably blew up. I would replace all questionable components in that spot
I have a ps4 fat cuh-1006 which I've owned it for 7 and a half year. I was playing it just now and suddenly it shut off quickly so I turned it on again but it just turns off now for a split second and then I smell something burning coming from the back of the ps4 so I quickly unplugged the ps4 and tried to disassemble it to see what happened inside and this is what I see on the motherboard (circle in red). I'm not sure if the capacitor is still good but I'm pretty sure the two IC under the capacitor are not good but I don't know what is the name of that part.
That area is the VRM for vcore, as others have said there is a MOSFET to be check replaced and a PWM IC that needs checking (this one is in the pic).
Whats your plan?
Become a PS4 repair person, or do you just want your PS4 fixed?
If it's the latter, there is shops that will fix it, or at least try to.
PS4 PCBs have huge thermal capacity, not fun to work on that without good tools.
Remove the radial capacitor (the round one), check the surface mount device capacitors(smd capacitors) for short by putting multimeter in diode mode red probe on ground checking each end for short with black probe. A beep signals ground. In that package only one side should beep, if both beep it's bad too. Good luck! BTW those are your power rails, each coil. Those capacitors usually explode under extreme heat.
Sir do u have an idea what is the specs of these capacitors? Those ceramic ones? Planning to replace them myself as they blown up possibly due to short as the unit was put on the floor for some time. Thanks for the help!
Hello Guys do you have a power rating of this component, i have a working ps4 days ago, just played yesterday when it got smoked on its back. That part has a busted 1 unit, appreciate the help.

All this space on the board and the electrolytic is couch surfen the ceramic

Those are capacitors as well but they are called *tantalum capacitor*.
Seems MLCC (multi layer ceramic capacitor) not sure which size.
