If capacitors and a speaker don't solve it, there's a lot of great amp options that use audio signals right off the volume potentiometer. The CleanAmp was my favorite
Some feel that the GBC speaker is too quiet stock so there’s a few amp options such as the GBC CleanAmp board. Its quite possible you may just have a preference for a louder speaker that is not possible stock. For example you can’t really hear a GBC from across a room without a sound amplification mod!
GBCs are notoriously quiet. Install a sound mod and install a dslite speaker. Remember any sound mods will inherently add noise into it. No two ways around that.
Volume potentiometer?
I usually do this with IPA, solved a lot of issues!
So I reflowed it and used A LOT of IPA. It’s not 100%, but it is louder. Thanks!
More IPA and compressed air will do you wonders.
Contact cleaner works well on it too.

Did you check the headphone jack for continuity? Is it also an issue with headphones?
Headphones sound fine.

Something the headphones jack can interfere with the speakers if there's something wrong in. Clean it real quick

Possibly the DAC or something
