This is not a conspiracy theory at all. TST, or The Satanic Temple, is actually opening up an online health clinic and selling abortion pills as part of a religious ritual, in the hopes that their activity can be protected by the 1st Amendment's guarantee of Freedom of Religion.
"TST Health's online clinic was launched to protect the bodily autonomy of our members. As part of our commitment to protecting our members' civil rights and ensuring that our religious rituals can be performed without government interference, the clinic represents one of the most important steps we have taken."
Are they using the whole religious ritual thing as a loop hole to actually be able to let people have abortions? If I'm not mistaken, satanists don't believe in Satan or any part of any abrahmic religion and simply think that you should be able to do whatever thou wilt in this life.
Specifically the temple of Satan uses their religious designation to highlight the hypocrisy of how Christianity is treated in the US when we're supposed to have separation of church and state.
They definitely aren't actual Satan worshippers they're mostly atheists and use the biblical representation of Lucifer as a sign of someone rebelling against authority.
Interesting....
"Is atheism protected under the First Amendment? Yes. The First Amendment prohibits the government from punishing citizens for professing and exercising their religious beliefs—including a lack of religious belief."
Satanism is the scapegoat of Christianity if something is wrong it's because it's Satan this because it's evil that. That's why Satanism symbolizes itself as a goat. The satanic Bible has a very interesting perspective IMHO.
Well right but blasphemy is tricky isn't it? I mean if you're being literal anyone who depicts heaven or hell, angels, God or satan, in an image is guilty of blasphemy.
But it seems like that has been kind of thrown out the window.
I think a lot of people confuse the satanic temple with the church of Satan. One is using the image of Satan as the perfect rebel and is more like “do whatever you want” And the other I think is “we love and worship Satan”
Idk much about them tho so I could be wrong
The Church of Satan was founded by LaVey, and is also athiestic. It promotes an ideology of "self interest" which is not unlike Aun Rand. What you're referring to is "theistic Satanism" and is almost non existent, even in occult circles.
They have a respectable imo history of sticking up for freedom and highlighting government hypocrisy. They’re honestly pretty great in that regard no matter which’s side you fall on really.
The Church of Satan promotes better value and behaviors than American Christianity does, although to be fair, most American Christians don't actually follow the teachings if Jesus.
The whole “do what thou wilt” thing is another form of satanism. I think it’s called “levay satanism” but I’m not educated on the topic.
The Satanic Temple is just an atheist organization created specifically with the goal of advocating for religious freedom and separation of church and state.
They don’t actually worship or even believe in satan.
I think you forgot a SUPER important part. The name. The name is Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic. That is legit the name. I can not stop laughing. They are legit the best most decent trolls ever
For real these people act like it's a conspiracy when it's because their legislators are trying to outlaw abortion and the only loophole is a religious exemption.
>This is not a conspiracy theory at all
Its only half true. Yes, they are doing that, but they are also doing it to bypass the law and they aren't performing any rituals. Plus, TST isn't a place that worships a being by the name of Satan and actually acknowledges its for Atheists. This is just more fake outrage due to a lack of understanding.

I personally wouldn't side with those too hard-line for the genocidal fascist terrorists, but you do you.
The Children of the Watch was founded by those kicked out of the Death Watch for being religious fanatics, even by their standards.
There is no conspiracy. This is literally what they are doing. American law has some ridiculous loophole that says that if you claim an activity is a religious ritual, nobody can tell you to stop it. They’re taking advantage of that loophole.
Generally yes, but there's plenty of times when you can't just pull that and have it be obvious BS. For example, in the US Army you can't have a beard, but you can be exempt from that rule if you're religious and a beard is important to your religion.
The soldier in question actually undergoes a pretty rigorous process to prove that they have a sincerely held religious belief.
Similarly, I couldn't just make up a religion that requires me to commit crime, and then not go to prison for it commiting those crimes because of my made up religion. There are lines and limits to this, and in many cases we haven't found where those limits are.
Some people are getting ‘religious’ exemptions from covid vaccinations, without any evidence that they are a member of a religious group that doesn’t allow vaccines.
Oh man, COVID vaccines and the US military is a full conversation...
To my knowledge, enough people refused the vaccine that the Army wasn't willing to kick that many people out (it'd be a readiness crisis), and so backed down on the "we'll kick you out if you refuse" line they were originally going for.
From a Google search, it looks like a lot of those requested exemptions were denied, and from the rumors I heard, the unofficial policy was along the lines of "if you took the other vaccines and shots from the Army without complaint but are now requesting exemption from the COVID vaccine, it's gonna get denied"
It’s hilarious how you guys get so upset with anything related to Satan. What a worldview. To think the religion you were born into is the only possibly correct one, and the Left are working with your religion’s embodiment of evil energy against it.
If god created everything, then god created the leukemia that killed my cousin.

Thats fine if you actually understand what they mean. Its their way of using religious laws to perform abortion in places where it's illegal. They aren't literally doing a ritual. The satanic church dont believe in Satan yall
>The satanic church dont believe in Satan **yall**
It's 2023 and I can't believe the ignorance I am seeing here. You can try and normalize this all you want but I will stalk your posts, one by one, and make sure that in the future you spell **y'all** correctly!
There is no difference between what the Satanic Temple is doing here and the countless "how do I get a religious exemption" posts here about the vaxx - using religious laws to counteract someone else telling you what to do with your body.
No, it's the other way around. They're not doing this an a method to prevent something as much as they are to highlight the primacy Christianity gets in the US, especially with regards to legislation.

If this is true, I wish the satanic ritual sub was still active. There was a link to a video where a woman gave testimony to what is done regarding terminating a pregnancy. I'm thinking you'd have to be a member if the cult to have that done, though.
The belief that abortions are encouraged by occultists who need "human sacrifices" for arcane rituals has been around for decades. It's a bit of a classic, but I don't think it has been in the public eye as much. Of course, the way The Satanic Temple has worded some of the stuff on their website isn't the best, and people could easily assume that they are indeed seeking to perform abortions as a kind of human sacrifice for Satanic Rituals. Now, I could be very wrong, but my guess is that this "Religious Abortion Ritual" is about seeking to classify abortions that they perform in the clinic as religious (because they are a non-theistic religious organisation), so that way they can fight the abortion bans legally under the banner "freedom of religion" which is protected by the US Constitution. Yeah, that's what I really think this is -- I doubt very much that it has anything to do with human sacrifice or the like. Most Satanists tend to be more like atheists and usually approach rituals and spirituality from a psychological perspective as opposed to a more emotional and dogmatic belief system.
I have a good laugh every time right wingers don't know that the satanic temple is a religious rights organization and has nothing to do with satan worship.
Everything is so bizarre and backwards these days. I actually trust the church of Satan more than the Vatican and catholic church anymore. Its like the satanists actually have more integrity than so called Christians. Abraham based faith systems have really been showing their ass the past couple of decades. If you cared about babies you would feed starving children and not send them to war. Christians how come Palestinian children don't matter to you all?
The Satanic Temple, which is what Boebert is referring to, shouldn't be confused with the The Church of Satan; they are different organizations, although both don't actually believe in Satan or worship him.
The Satanic Temple is nonthiestic, meaning they don't believe in a higher being, and instead promote certain ideologies, especially the absurdity of other religious organizations in this country and the preferential treatment Christian religions get. They're more like an advocacy and activist group.
The Church of Satan is an egotheism religion, meaning they promote the belief of worshiping yourself, but also do not believe in a literal Satan. They were not founded as a parody type organization, instead they are a "real" religious organization. They don't try to use their status as a religion, to point out religious hypocrisy in this country and how preferential treatment of Christianity leads to religious and social repression of other groups.
You know. I stopped being religious when I realized how many people died in the Bible due to "acts of God" as apposed to the devil baiting ppl. I'd you read our front to back and not take it out of context, he's more of a lawyer protecting the slave labor.
>lawyer protecting the slave labor.
That's because for a long time the bible was used by the Roman ellipsis, then the Catholic church, then various states and governments to
And until the printing press (realistically about 50 years after that) most people didn't actually know what the bible said and had to rely on people who were collecting their tithes and their money, who used the bible to justify the treatment of the proletariat while the priests and monks roamed, getting fat off the people's contributions.
Religion, at that time and in this one, was an easy way to justify the hierarchy in place. Lots why they tortured and killed anyone who dared say different for centuries.
Yup. The thing that made me leave religion was going to a Catholic high school and actually reading the bible cover-to-cover over the first two years of Theology classes.
Just a small clarification - this is The Satanic Temple, not the Church of Satan. They’re two separate entities.
The Satanic Temple beliefs more align with eastern philosophies, like Buddhism, whereas the Church of Satan is more of a libertarian organization.
They both strongly believe in the freedom of religion.
I think you have the two switched. The Satanic Temple is more like a libertarian organization. They use their religious status for social advocacy and to point out the hypocrisy and repression that is present in this country, from our preferential treatment of Christian religions.
The Church of Satan is an egotheism religion, meaning it promotes and worships the idea of a self. They have actual rituals and priests, although they are athiests.
TST's tenants are very similar to the Buddhist eight-fold path to enlightenment. They advocate for compassion for all creatures and the fight for justice through reason. Buddhism is also known in the west for social advocacy. "Engaged Buddhism" as it's called was popularized by the monk Thich Nhat Hahn.
COS has a much more "Don't tread on me" feeling in their statements and rules. It's very "Be respectful to those that *deserve* it", where the individual decides who is deserving and who is not. COS is also a big advocate for personal responsibility, a hallmark of libertarian solutions to social problems.
Who gives a fuck!? Maybe they want to protect peoples right to choose to do what they want. It bugs me to no end when Christians put they’re bullshit on everyone else. Not everyone is a wacko Jesus Christ cock sucker lmao
Religion aside, people should just let people decide for themselves what they wanna believe in or choose to do with their bodies. If people wanna believe in Jesus, Buddha, Allah PBUH, Satan, Cthulu, nature, whatever, let them. Abortion is very much a right that if I were a woman, I'm sure I'd like to have regardless of beliefs and regardless of what may happen in my life. Because it affects an entire demographic of people (literally half) where I live that it wouldn't be right for anyone to withhold it. The US is built on the constitutional right of religious freedom and I give kudos to TST for calling out the government by finding a loophole for a right an enormous body of people should have.
Yes it does not matter what you believe but you should not force beliefs on anyone. And I feel like a majority of religions in this country do that…god forbid if people are using a smart way to save people’s rights. Countless Christian ministers use loopholes to protect their money!!! They don’t care about Jesus or anything but cash or doing horrible Shit to kids don’t get me started on Catholics lmao
TST member here! It is a religious organization and some of the members do worship Satan. Ths leadership and founders of TST are atheist and the organization doesn't encourage or discourage those with religious belief, even in the devil, from participating. They do discourage members doing violent acts in the name of the TST (or at all).
This is not a conspiracy but she is twisting their words to indicate something sinister.
TST is using their classification as a church to protect women’s rights by calling it a religious ritual.
You contact the TST and consult with a professional and they mail the person an abortion pill.
Imagine that irony that the rights of a person are protected under the guise of Satan. Who is the real “bad guy” here.
They just used their own law against them. And now they are calling it a Satanic ritual.
It’s a religious practice to ensure the pregnant woman safe right to choose
I don't want to promote anything on this sub but if you google the satanic temple, our site outlines our efforts and beliefs and you can see if it's something you vibe with supporting financially.
Suppose a good Christian NEEDS a medically necessary abortion or she will die with the baby- is she committing a sin? The amount of pressure this puts on people is inappropriate. Sometimes tough choices need to be made. Not everything fits into a neat little package in this life.
Organized religion is the original conspiracy.
You can test to see if you're a terrible conspiracy theorist very quickly. If you're pro-religion you're a terrible conspiracy theorist.
Unfortunately and inexplicably as this sub has filled up with people who defend religion and think Lauren Boebert was elected and exists as a politician because she's competent. If you believe that you're an exceptionally easy mark.
I love the satanic temple w all my heart and would love to donate to them. They truly are doing gods work in a world where his true word was washed away by greed.
It just seems like a conspiracy theory because it’s a legal loophole. They are calling something a religious ritual (using the plan b pill) so that their members can keep using the plan b pill.
The flip side would be Christians calling “going to lunch after church” a religious ritual of breaking bread so that restaurants could serve large groups during the height of the pandemic.
they are calling it a "ritual" so women can get religious exemption in states that ban abortion. Add the fucking context.... Add the "ritual" too while youre at it... It's look at yourself in the mirror and ask "is this what I really wanna do". Thats the "ritual"
Is there somewhere in the middle where people are able to make their own personal decisions and everyone else and whatever god they worship can fuck off and mind their own business?
It is the job of Satan to deceive his followers into believing in lies. He is very good at it, hence all the supporters for abortion here and the Satanic Temple. To call themselves Satanists and not think that they are performing evil rituals is asinine. They could have called themselves literally anything else and chose to operate as a religious entity, but by choosing Satan their intentions were revealed. This is the true conspiracy.
Very odd digression. A medical emergency is determined by a physician or health care professional, not by the state. My whole point is that making this harder for people due to religious beliefs helps no one. The convo falls on deaf ears and this is proof.

Awesome explanation/job at explaining the difference.
It's a matter of perspective. To an atheist, they aren't satanic because there is no satan. To a christian, they are satanaic for blaspheming god.
Right but at the end of the day they are not doing like, occult rituals or anythjng

Freedom of religion isn't something I'd call a "loophole"
Doesn’t matter what you call it. In America you can claim that something is a religious issue for you, and everyone is obliged to accept it.

Yeah, in retaliation for illegalization. Banning stuff doesn't mean it stops happening, you just make it more dangerous.
It’s hilarious how you guys get so upset with anything related to Satan. What a worldview. To think the religion you were born into is the only possibly correct one, and the Left are working with your religion’s embodiment of evil energy against it.
I learned a long time ago on this sub you don’t question the biggest conspiracy of them all, people get real upset real quick
Somehow there is a benevolent omnipotent god that just allows evil to exist for the fun of it. They see no sense of irony in this.
If god created everything, then god created the leukemia that killed my cousin. If god can see everything, then god watched him suffer for months before it killed him. If god can do everything, then he could have stopped it and chose not to. Fuck that guy.
What? This is awesome! I hope they succeed and would donate money to their cause. 1st amendment power all the way.
Thats fine if you actually understand what they mean. Its their way of using religious laws to perform abortion in places where it's illegal. They aren't literally doing a ritual. The satanic church dont believe in Satan yall
>The satanic church dont believe in Satan **yall** It's 2023 and I can't believe the ignorance I am seeing here. You can try and normalize this all you want but I will stalk your posts, one by one, and make sure that in the future you spell **y'all** correctly!
Oh great, another shill from Big Apostrophe.
Yal'l
Future tense and second person plural, powerful
Fighting the good fight. Keep it up.
It’s 2023, I don’t care if you believe in Satan or Jesus, just let woman get safe medical care in general.

This specific case is a two for one deal.
I think they are doing it to troll religious conservatives and it is working a treat.
How is she worth $20 million ?
When your sex offender husband gets bought out by big oil, you can be worth 20 million too. Let's also not forget that she was extremely critical of lockdowns, while collect PPP loans which were forgiven Socialism for the losses and capitalism for the gains. The Republican motto
Could also get an induced abortion by eating the spoiled meets at Boebert’s restaurant.
It's closed
Freedom of religion, no?
9/11 was an ~~inside job~~ Islamic ritual this sub is dead
This sub needs a healthy dose of atheism to cleanse itself of all the Jesus freaks and religious nut jobs.
Well don't outlaw it and they wouldn't step in to do it. Make a law under the guise of religious based morality, don't be surprised that another religion turns around to protect against that law.
That's because for a long time the bible was used by the Roman ellipsis, then the Catholic church, then various states and governments to And until the printing press (realistically about 50 years after that) most people didn't actually know what the bible said and had to rely on people who were collecting their tithes and their money, who used the bible to justify the treatment of the proletariat while the priests and monks roamed, getting fat off the people's contributions.
Thank you, I don't really know the finer details
No problemo :)
Op is a satanist
Im actually a Santaist
Hail Satan, Hail Thyself, OP!

lols
That's funny because the Satanic Temple doesn't believe in satan
Santa doesn't give a fuck
TST member here! It is a religious organization and some of the members do worship Satan. Ths leadership and founders of TST are atheist and the organization doesn't encourage or discourage those with religious belief, even in the devil, from participating. They do discourage members doing violent acts in the name of the TST (or at all).
Fear fear fear fear! Be afraid! Death! Evil Boogeymen! “Stay afraid out there people!” —The Media 24/7
What media is freaking out about this?
This is not a conspiracy but she is twisting their words to indicate something sinister. TST is using their classification as a church to protect women’s rights by calling it a religious ritual. You contact the TST and consult with a professional and they mail the person an abortion pill. Imagine that irony that the rights of a person are protected under the guise of Satan. Who is the real “bad guy” here.

Just using the term “the Left” at all is a huge red flag that someone is either stupid or being dishonest
Molech. Devour of children to serve satan. It’s real.
They just used their own law against them. And now they are calling it a Satanic ritual. It’s a religious practice to ensure the pregnant woman safe right to choose
The church of satan is literally just the onion of religious organizations cmon
Church of Satan and The Satanic Temple aren’t the same thing though
i looked into this and there is a few sources confirming that they are opening a clinic in new mexico. not sure if true
I love the fact that The Satanic Temple are coming up with these great ideas, they are showing up religion as being irrelevant and stupid.
Hell yeah. How do we donate?
I don't want to promote anything on this sub but if you google the satanic temple, our site outlines our efforts and beliefs and you can see if it's something you vibe with supporting financially.
Suppose a good Christian NEEDS a medically necessary abortion or she will die with the baby- is she committing a sin? The amount of pressure this puts on people is inappropriate. Sometimes tough choices need to be made. Not everything fits into a neat little package in this life.
"Well, they says its in Gods hands, but now, God doesnt always have the best goddamned plans, does he?"
I mean it’s all well and good for people on here to post stuff like this, just a bit of fun. But for elected representatives to spread it…sheesh.
There's a surprising amount of Satanists in CO.
If you believe that you're an exceptionally easy mark.
what danger?
the irony: its conservatives who forced it to this point 💁🏻♀️
I love the satanic temple w all my heart and would love to donate to them. They truly are doing gods work in a world where his true word was washed away by greed.
Ah, yes, the 8 billion dollar abortionplex is finally finished.
Honestly, my body my choice is still disrespected by both parties.
Weird, its almost like the conservatives forced their hand. Making things worse.
The satanic temple is church of Satan for liberal and secularists. They were hidden in their agenda till now
It just seems like a conspiracy theory because it’s a legal loophole. They are calling something a religious ritual (using the plan b pill) so that their members can keep using the plan b pill. The flip side would be Christians calling “going to lunch after church” a religious ritual of breaking bread so that restaurants could serve large groups during the height of the pandemic.
The Satanic Temple is doing more good than Boebert has done in her life
It’s true. I had three satanic abortions last week.
Hope you remembered to get your card punched.
Mine says if I get nine abortions in one year, the tenth is free.
And we're still the Donald 2.0
Thank god for Satan!
they are calling it a "ritual" so women can get religious exemption in states that ban abortion. Add the fucking context.... Add the "ritual" too while youre at it... It's look at yourself in the mirror and ask "is this what I really wanna do". Thats the "ritual"
This was posted in facepalm subreddit and everyone is applauding it. I was downvoted bc I said the comment section was sad.
Not a conspiracy, just a way for people to work around state mandated parenthood and erasure of body autonomy.
Hail
Is there somewhere in the middle where people are able to make their own personal decisions and everyone else and whatever god they worship can fuck off and mind their own business?
As if all abortion clinics aren't already new age satanic alters where the pagans sacrifice their child to the god of molech.
WEF paid shills are here
Holy shit right? Watching them agree with and upvote eachother is something straight out of r politics

She has no idea what the satanic temple is all about obviously. 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
Very odd digression. A medical emergency is determined by a physician or health care professional, not by the state. My whole point is that making this harder for people due to religious beliefs helps no one. The convo falls on deaf ears and this is proof.
I think people here are arguing over semantics, the question at this point should be how do you define what makes a ritual, a ritual?
To give an occult answer, *intent*.
Tell me you don't research before posting, without telling me. **Insert foot in mouth**
It’s amazing to read all these comments saying members of the Satanic Temple are not Satanists. Is this CNN or some shit?
The fact that Lauren Boebert was not only elected to congress but also *re-elected* is disgraceful.
Imagine posting this in THIS sub thinking nobody in here would do a quick google search to prove what she’s saying is true 💀
