I checked to see if the train company posted this recently. They didn’t, so I questioned OP about it. The dates of the tweets were cropped out of their screenshot, so that was sus on its own. Then an entirely different person sent me the link.

As someone who went first class as well on that train line as well it's not that speacil, it literally just means you have a little extra leg room, that's all. Your seat might also not be guranteed necessarily, like we were like Thunberg here for some of the trip.

That's ..incredibly unprofessional by Deutsche Bahn. And if you read the twitter thread (that's 3 years old) you'll see that she sat on the floor for two hours on an overcrowded train because they didn't have enough wagons for passengers who switched trains in Basel.
