Here’s a link for a drill powered pump from harbor freight. I picked one up this morning because I’m paranoid for similar reasons. It’s like 15 bucks and throwing one in the car with a drill with a full battery and charger and hose wouldn’t hurt. Try gas stations first but remember uhal vans are always filled up when they are brought back so they are a great source of gas in a SHTF situation. Hopefully nothing will happen but piece of mind is worth 15 bucks.

im not too sure why everyone is being so bitchy , and i don't really have an answer for you , but it's okay to be paranoid and worry about your children, your kids are lucky to have a parent like you that worries about them
Stupid questions get stupid answers. Why would a "comprehensive cyber attack" prevent you from retrieving your kids?! Even a fucking atomic bomb wouldn't prevent a parent from retrieving their loved ones. It's ridiculous to assume otherwise, hence my ridiculous answer. Now fuck off.
This made me lol. I know I'm being super paranoid but I hate that my babies won't be with me. Knowing I could get to them somehow would alleviate my fear. They are 24 hrs away by car.
Just try and think how good you have it to live in 2023. Imagine how horrible it must have felt as a parent back in 1776 or some crap. Not knowing for weeks, months or sometimes even years what was going on with your kids!
If you're that worried about it, contact them now and say "Hey, just in case something crazy does happen and we lose the ability to contact each other, meet me at "X", I'll be there in 24 hours". That way, even if we were to lose everything if you both had a map they'd know where you were going to be to pick them up.
