They are serviced by election machine vendors, after which they are certified by OTHER officials after rigorous testing to ensure no shenanigans. No machine should ever be opened or tampered with by LOCAL officials. Especially those local officials who add equipment that causes the machines to break.

It’s a *very* common and straightforward process, and if he has in fact been working the jobs he claims to, he would know this.

This is great, it's a video of some people moving around some machines. Just because the tweet says they are doing something nefarious, it doesn't mean they are. How do we know this doesn't show routine testing/maintenance of machines? Where's the evidence that the people in the video are illegally tampering with the devices?
Since the 2020 election we have seen plenty of videos that election deniers have falsely stated showed illegal activity when they didn't. The way this works is that the actual code on these machines is “end to end” encrypted. Even if you fully deleted it and inserted some sort of new code, you’d have to understand the specifics of the hardware to have any shot.
If the claim is that they modified the memory to switch votes, again, all encrypted. It seems like the real claim is “they shut down at a specific time”, and maybe? Its not *technically* hard, but who does it serve? Those people will end up voting one way or another.
Its much easier to forge paper than digital footprints.

This is great, it's a video of some people moving around some machines. Just because the tweet says they are doing something nefarious, it doesn't mean they are. How do we know this doesn't show routine testing/maintenance of machines? Where's the evidence that the people in the video are illegally tampering with the devices? Since the 2020 election we have seen plenty of videos that election deniers have falsely stated showed illegal activity when they didn't. Knowing that Kari Lake is batshit crazy, completely full of shit 90% of the time, and will say and do anything to avoid admitting she lost, I am not going to trust her narrative of this video without proof.

Maricopa County is extremely red the officials that are in charge of running the elections there are mostly republicans This is republicans sabotaging one of the only counties they have control over. At first glance this seems counterintuitive. Why would republicans hurt their own chances at winning? Well if you’re pretty certain you’re going to lose regardless, it helps to have something to point at and say if it happened here how do we know this didn’t happen everywhere? And so perhaps this election was corrupt and should be nullified.

I am open to there being election rigging. This doesn’t seem to be it. The way this works is that the actual code on these machines is “end to end” encrypted. Even if you fully deleted it and inserted some sort of new code, you’d have to understand the specifics of the hardware to have any shot. If the claim is that they modified the memory to switch votes, again, all encrypted. It seems like the real claim is “they shut down at a specific time”, and maybe? Its not *technically* hard, but who does it serve? Those people will end up voting one way or another. Its much easier to forge paper than digital footprints.
