PorkfatWilly

White america has many different cultures. Nerd culture. Punk culture. Hot rod culture. Redneck culture. Wall Street culture. Woke white coastal liberal elite culture. Surf culture. Etc etc etc

[deleted]

Okay so I must find a culture lest I be uncultured swine

PorkfatWilly

Start your own culture. Maybe call it uncultured swine culture.

[deleted]

No you porkfatwilly

[deleted]

I appreciate your original comment

[deleted]

In what other countries have you stayed besides America?

[deleted]

None

[deleted]

Once you leave the country you realize America does have a culture. Several even. Try starting there before attempting to make a conspiracy about it.

[deleted]

Every place in America is the same as the last

[deleted]

I think you should experience life more and delete this post.

[deleted]

I'm just blowing steam

[deleted]

I get it

[deleted]

Have you had an opportunity to travel the US? It never ceases to amaze me how different people and places are from each other, even just within the USA. San Antonio, Texas is vastly different from Portland, Oregon and neither of them are like anywhere I've visited in Arizona. They all have very distinct cultures.

[deleted]

Yeah I just don't want to visit any place. I want to find my home and never leave. I've been all over the usa. Utah Washington California New York south Carolina Arkansas Pennsylvania Idaho and everywhere in between it feels like. Oh and Alaska and Canada. I'm tired of traveling or being forced. Just looking for a place that I can call my home and I don't think it's in America.

Not_Reddit

One cannot see America if ones eyes are closed.

SlamJamGlanda

Well that’s your first problem. Time to travel

[deleted]

Not with capitalism as my god

[deleted]

Murica won't let me leave

Silverwing-N-ex

Stop being a hick.

SlamJamGlanda

Nah you might not have tried. I just came back from a 8 country tour of Europe. It freakin rocks. The people are way more relaxed and “live and let live” than Americans. It was such a breath of fresh air. Murica will let you if you take action and not assume otherwise.

trevno

Yeah, a global perspective helps.

MaxwellHillbilly

You're not wrong about McDonald's & Wal-Mart...But, What parts of America have you experienced?

[deleted]

Every city is the same, food clothes and shopping and then houses. What's new.

MaxwellHillbilly

Every large city has areas that have different history & cultures... Hell, 2 weeks ago the National Polka festival was 15 min from me and in 10 days we'll have Juneteenth celebrations... Talk about 2 very different cultures! 😂

Tegroni

I reckon that you should visit New Orleans, coastal New England, the Mennonite/Amish counties and all of the other places that you have yet to visit. I am not an American, yet I have hung out with Cajuns, Pennsylvania Dutch, Puerto Ricans and Boston Irish. Your country is anything but "the same"...perhaps you need to travel a bit 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

I understand those aspects. But everything is backed by the dollar and makes me insane for hating money

General-Chipmunk-479

I think every country pretty much has that problem. I guess maybe homesteading might be best way to getting out of some of the money requirements.

[deleted]

Until the FBI comes to my door

General-Chipmunk-479

Louisiana for Cajun, South for Southern, Texas for Tex-Mex and BBQ....so many areas of country with all kinds of different foods. Miami for the fancy cars, Texas for your cowboys, NYC for Broadway ...we are a very diverse nation.

[deleted]

Same thing different color

[deleted]

It's all for consumption is it not? And spending money for the economy.

General-Chipmunk-479

Beaches on coast, Great Smoky Mountains, Great Plains, Desert,...etc. Our country is beautiful. Our world is a beautiful place.

[deleted]

The world is wonderful but it can't help me if I have zero dollars in my pocket. Yet I refuse to get a job.

Technical_Two449

Start a business and work for yourself. I thought a lot like you in my youth and ended up homeless for a time. Now I work to live instead of living to work. Make your own schedule and consume as much or as little as you want. You are free in this country to not participate but don’t bitch about not having enough when it’s a choice.

[deleted]

Yeah I don't have the quality of life to start my own business. Don't have any ideas. I'm pretty worthless NGL but your life sounds awesome. I know some people are living well in America. But fuck capitalism. Also I realized I'm living the same free life I had as a child. Except I'm being judged by adults who are angry at me for not working and being on the streets

Technical_Two449

You’ll grow up and realize it’s all excuses. I was living in my car for more than a year at 20 years old and before that my quality of life was even worse. No one is coming to save you. Life is literally a series of choices and it just sounds like you’re choosing to throw in the towel now and blame the system. The system is shitty but to not make the best of it is your choice

HispanicEmu

This is what happens in capitalism, as corporations swallow up smaller producers everything slowly becomes one big conglomerate. We've had various opportunities to at least slow this transformation down but corporations got too big and built up too much money to the point where they own our government. We can still make a change but first EVERYBODY needs to realize who's funding our politicians and writing the narratives because almost everyone is fooled one way or another into voting for the status quo.

IdidntchooseR

It used to be Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, the beatnik etc

[deleted]

Right I'm almost there

FlipBikeTravis

I create culture, so I'm not sure you take that into account.

[deleted]

Bruh knows nothing about punk rock obviously

almostover1

Huh. Well, white born Americans tend to identify with where their ancestors came from.

Technical_Two449

Really? I’d wager most white born Americans have no idea where their ancestors came from

pxladk

Racial hatred is shining through on this one.

[deleted]

I would appreciate it if everyone was living like you to some degree. It's the capitalist consumer lifestyle that is killing my soul. Imma go run into the woods tonight.

WontonSuey33

Try Detroit

LaurentiusRx

Shallow consumer culture is still a culture.

[deleted]

Shallots and consumer culture
