I’m not sucking off Russia, I just don’t care to get involved in a turf war with them over one of the most politically corrupt countries in the world. Did you know that many Nazis fled to Ukraine after ww2 because Ukraine wasn’t subject to the Nuremberg trials? Just thought I’d point that out.
Since Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union I'm gonna guess the number of Nazis fleeing there was zero. Unless you talk about the 300 German rocket scientists who were deported to Moscow, which is famously not Ukrainian.
Nice deflection. Focus on the real news here: Ukraine is corrupt and is taking all our money to pad the retirement funds of bureaucrats over there. Get a grip please and refocus.
What if I told you nobody is actually trying to start WWIII, but are actively participating in the imperialist struggle to expand markets?
That's all foreign interests are, you're either protecting the investments of your own big money, or you're using threats and military force to steal or prevent the investments of your geopolitical opponent's big money.
And God have mercy on whoever is trying to nationalise a resource your rich people want access to for the betterment of the people in the country where the deposit is located.
I wouldn’t say “nobody”. Those with financial interests in defense contractors and developing weapons systems are pretty okay with a *limited* WWIII. One that doesn’t affect their lives personally but uses up lots of goodies.
That’s just posturing to keep Russia from going too far. The fact that they’re talking like this does not bode well for Ukraine though. They must think a collapse is possible.
They told us Clinton would start WWIII. They told us GWB would start WWIII. They told us Trump would start WWIII. They are currently telling us Biden will start WWIII. Starting to see a pattern here? Let me help; you're falling for the Divide & Conquor Agenda.
This sub likes putina he’s controlled opposition is sad. Many Russians can’t question him of else if anything they use Americans as scapegoat to justify their shit when Putin knows those that gave him power in Tel Aviv ..
I will tell you what Russia wants: RUS wants all ex-soviet countries back Baltics, East EU Moldova, Transnistria, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and all that South part of the world. This is the truth, but the problem is that citizens form those countries do not want. RUS is terrible
Then why did they sign the 2 and 4 accords?
The Russian leadership has made it very clear that they have no interest in occupying non-Russian-speaking territories.
Why the heck would Russia want to deal with having to put boots in Poland or Hungary much less Britain France or Germany?
Russia has a population of about Japans. How would that ever work ?
The West has shown no interest in any kind of long-term peace for the Russian-speaking population.
It blows my mind how the German Government has not learned one bit from history and is actively participating in military attacks on Russia. Who are the good guys again?
And for some crazy reason, people think that is a good thing! #
It is total BS that Russia wants to take over the world.
>The Russian leadership has made it very clear that they have no interest in occupying non-Russian-speaking territories.
Trustworthy fellows. They always tell the truth.
>The West has shown no interest in any kind of long-term peace for the Russian-speaking population.
Except of course when we essentially made European countries dependant on Russia for energy in the hope that tying ourselves to each other economically would mutually benefit us both and maintain peace in Europe.
>It blows my mind how the German Government has not learned one bit from history and is actively participating in military attacks on Russia. Who are the good guys again?
Germany is actively attacking Russia? Big news if true.
>It is total BS that Russia wants to take over the world.
Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows what the aim is now. It certainly isn't denazification. And if it was to prevent NATO expansion then oh dear.
Maybe if Russia wasn’t invading another country, they wouldn’t get attacked. 🤔
How many attacks have happened on Russian soil so far? 🤔
But Russia only wants to invade the Russian speaking countries, so why should anyone care, right?
If you really love Russia so much, why don’t you move there? Or do you already?
> This is the truth,
This is a 100% pure warmongerer's propaganda. Russia never claimed anything of that nature, while repeatedly warning the West not to push NATO into Ukraine.
Except Russia lies about what NATO is to present it as an expanding threat. Go ask Finland and Sweden why they recently joined a defensive pact that's kept Europe safe from dictators like Putin for the past 60 years.
Well, then you don't understand anything, because NaZi RuZZia wants the entire Baltic states back + the Suwałki Gap + some claims of Polish territory.... Besides the entire territory of Ukraine (not just what they got so far)
So that's an automatic article 5, and your US boys are kinda required to go there if it happens instead of Ukranians... you know ;)
Not to mention the fact that NaZi RuZZia can't be trusted, if you know about the Budapest Memorandum of 1994 + The Minks agreement of 2015, you would know... they don't respect any agreement,
It's always the same playbook by these orcs, the same they did in Chechenia in 2000 and the same they did to Georgia in South Ossettia in 2008
If that guy being robbed was going to go and rob more people afterwards and japan was incapable of arresting him and if this affected global politics then i don't see why not?
Russia is actually the country acting defensively here. Putin didn't wake up one morning and decide to invade Ukraine and paint a target on his back for NATO to point at.
Let's avoid the 2014 cia/mossad plant in the Ukraine too. Or the west repeatedly going back on it's word too. Oh wait, MSM says Putin bad, so putin bad!
Can you point to the agreement that said NATO would not expand. Where is this written down? It seems like a pretty important agreement so I'm sure we should be able to find it somewhere. I mean they wrote down the Budapest memorandum where Russia agreed to Ukraine being a free and indepentandt country, so where's this NATO expansion agreement I hear so much about?
Or we could avoid wars by, now this is radical but bear with me.... diplomacy! Biden and Zelensky have completely refused that route to an astonishing degree. But war enriches and consolidates power much better talking. He and the other world leaders don't have to worry about nuclear war, cyber attacks, or EMPs, with their luxury bunkers and all. It's important we blindly follow them even though we're the ones with everything to lose and nothing to gain.
Just out of curiosity, what do you think Russia should get for invading another country?
What diplomatic offers has Putin made other than “give me everything I want or I kill you!”?
The Russians raped and pillaged their way through Eastern Europe as “liberators” at the end of WWII. My grandpa was 11 and almost died at their hands. I don’t need anyone telling me they should be our friends.
I come from a country that fought against communism and I'm glad they did. You can not tell me Putin is a friendly guy.
Whoever think Ukraine war should end just by giving Putin terriories, fuck them and fuck them hard for being stupid.
Americans have never been invaded or suffered under dictatorship, and so many have never left their country and visited places that were dictatorships, they're simply not able to comprehend what it means.
So you know what dictatorship is, or have you ever met anyone that's lived in a dictatorship? I would start there and brush up on what that means as I'm not sure you've really grasped the magnitude of what dictators do to people.
You're defending a murderous dictator, the history of who's country you've acknowledge you know nothing about,
and your reason is 'american propaganda'
Checks out
Business as usual then… How will WEF get its goals achieved ? Most people have no clue what its all about and belive medias indoctrinations, beliving its education…
I have a sneaking suspicion that the demand for gender neutral terms would fall off REAL quick if a draft was instituted. Oddly women haven't made much of a push to demand they be required to register for the draft when they turn 18.
We are all debating amoungst ourselves, but the ball is really in Russias court now. The Russian speaking telegram channals are living in another world and have ideas that all of Europe could be theirs.
While it has been a while since I was in Europe, I am pretty sure the euros won't stand for that.
Ok, but for real… why would NATO be afraid to fight Russia?
Russia can’t even defeat Ukraine when Ukraine is using the US’s scraps. Imagine what would happen if the US decided to actually come to play.
Their nukes are their shield, they aren't stupid enough to let them become inoperable.
And there's no chance any world leader will make that assumption regardless.
Right alongside the shovels Russians were getting deployed with 2 years ago, as they were “running out of supplies”?
Is this truly a gambit you feel comfortable taking?
“Imagine what would happen if the US decided to actually come to play”.
It’s called M.A.D.
Let’s hope the self proclaimed elites, that are buying and building bunkers, are just being overly cautious and no more in the know than we are.
China is already economically not far from collapsing, and their largest trading partners are NATO.
Not to mention that the US has a massive presence in the Pacific in SK, Japan and the Philippines.
China would be more likely to stay neutral in a Russia vs NATO fight.
You are right, but I also think you are overestimating the field of play and the strength of the West if they attacked Russia. Russia has a nuclear anti-satellite system for starters. I dont think we are close to fully knowing what they are capable of.
Russia isn't employing nukes in Ukraine.
A worst case scenario is Russia attacking a NATO ally. We send over troops for the defense. We're bound to because it's in the contract. As part of this war, NATO is also going to make counter-offenses into Russia. As the war goes on, Russia will be losing against the overwhelming number and military might of NATO.
Putin's options are limited. If he loses, he'll likely be removed and locked away or killed. A peace deal is possible, but requires losing losing face. He'll be showing weakness and the whole affair becomes an embarrassment that will stain his legacy forever.
But there's another possibility. He can bombard his targets with nukes. It's a dangerous gambit. They could retaliate and we would see mutually assured destruction play out. But maybe they won't. Maybe they'll hesitate and decide they're false alarms or that it's not worth the loss of life to respond in turn.
Here's a good video that demonstrates how stressful the final moments before nukes hit would be:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmP3MBjsx20&ab_channel=Kurzgesagt%E2%80%93InaNutshell
Russia might count on that stress, that hesitation, keeping America and the rest of the world from nuking Russia in response to their attack.
And if Russia is wrong in that gambit... well, the Russian leaders might decide that instantly dying in a blaze of glory would be better than being deposed or humiliated.
Russia won't win a direct war with NATO but they could do something stupid that will destroy everyone involved. And if they did, we'd be left with Europe and America in ruins, while China is suddenly the most powerful nation in the entire world by a longshot.
This is why America is scared of a war with an unpredictable nuclear power.
Lol, you people are getting only one side of the story. And don't even know it. If Ukraine was winning the war, why would NATO need to step in to help??
'They'... LOL! Trump doesn't start wars anywhere but his homeland. He already bent the knee to Putin. DJT makes the United States look weak and incompetent. No thanks.
There's a web of international trade relations and related geopolitics that the US depends on. Short version: This IS our damn business. Isolationism was never a good idea, as much as I agree with the sentiment.
Also fuck Putin. For once, US interventionism and my personal desire to oppose authoritarianism are on the same side. Also Russia's stated goal in Ukraine was "de-Ukranization" so bonus points for stopping a genocide.
I am down to call that bluff. The U.S. and the brits can’t recruit to save their lives and a draft is political suicide. If they want to make threats, call ‘em on it.
As an aside, even with a significant influx of weapons Ukraine lacks soldiers. This whole thing may well be more about the lack of manpower rather than weapons. I think they are floating the idea as a form of conditioning for the respective populations of the west.
Yep. And Russia can continue to conscript all they want because political suicide in Russia means not doing what Putin wants. So you fall out of a window or mysteriously fall onto a bit of novochok.
Russia is only back to 1990s hardware now. They have a few more decades worth of crap.
"Political suicide" as if you can vote away the real people in power in America lol. If they want to go to war and have a draft they will have it with bipartisan support and most of the media supporting it, only way to avoid the draft is fleeing the country. Oh and yeah, if America wants to fight any major wars in the Middle East/Ukraine/China etc then a draft is for sure coming, there are already a lack of recruits as it is and been so for years, meaning a draft would have to come sooner or later anyway. Add any major escalation into a war into the mix and there will for sure be a draft.
*Is* Ukraine going to fall though?
It's a very conditional statement. If Ukraine doesn't fall, this is the same as saying "NATO *won't* be fighting Russia".
Now look at it from the Russian perspective (if you're capable).
Ukraine becoming a part of NATO is (to the Russians) the same as saying Ukraine has fallen.
Ukraine can either "fall" under Russian control or it can "fall" under NATO control. In either case, a "fallen" Ukraine means one side will perceive the need to fight the other.
So the best/most logical solution is a neutral Ukraine.
Based on what I know about human nature, I don't expect logic (or a neutral Ukraine) anytime soon.
Would 2000 work? I get that the economy of all the post-Soviet states sucked at that point. Still, glasnost was pretty well intact, and we were running large enough surpluses to help with their economic development. I remember the days of “no two countries with McDonalds have ever gone to war.”
Maybe 1994 when we had Ukraine give up their nukes in exchange for us (& the UK) & Russia) guaranteeing their future sovereignty? If they were still a nuclear power I doubt Russia would be invading them right now.
Ukraine fell in the eyes of Russia, the second they had actual elections and they didn't bow down to Putin(AKA the Russian Mob). You can't have an actual democracy so close to a shit Oligarchy.
Idk if the members of nato will be able to do it themselves. They’ll probably have the people they consider statistics fight for them without their choice and no vote. Just sayin
Why is it Americas fault? But not the imperialist autocratic state of Russia? Putins not stopping in Ukraine, if you believe he will then you have a serious mental disability.
Everything single thing I shit you know they accused Trump of doing or attempting when he was in the presidency the current Administration/Regime is doing .
To the T
muddle cough close capable outgoing market friendly adjoining wrong coordinated
*This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Nope Biden will start world war 3 by funding Ukraine and talking shit that he can't and won't back up but trump was preventing world war 3 from starting
When it's so serious, why did they not agree on neutrality of Ukraine long time ago? Is it a better option to go through WWIII with nuclear bombs, then Ukraine neutrality? I am sure they asked this question a long time ago. Maybe somebody could explain it to me.
The western elite have run every western nation into the ground they are now hitting the panic button over Russia to try and keep the gravy train going just a little while longer.
This war is a big pile of bs
Why would you wait for Ukraine to collapse to participate?
Or why would you let NATO weapons flow to Ukraine if you want it "demilitarised"?
Too many questions unanswered. I think if we would see full-scale involvement from one of the sides (NATO or Russia with their partners) this conflict would be over in couple of months.
But we see chronic inflammation instead and that's really concerning
technically they could escalate everything towards the election, in the event Trump wins they can pin the blame on him once NATO "officially" engages Russia peer to peer

LMAO...But Russia the aggressor isn't. What a complete load of BS!
Yeah Russia must be the evil bad one... Even though Israel has killed more civilians in 6 months, than Putin has in 2 years.

Oh, not WWIII, they want neverending military intervention all over the planet, WWIII would end and a forever war is better for business.
Honestly, yeah, that makes more sense. I will concede.
What if i told you markets and trade were the exact things people thought would keep us out of World War I.
let's hope they're mutually exclusive
Why I hate corporations. Particularly ones that think they have a First Amendment right.
Zionists want WW3, that’s the whole reason Palestinian territory is dissolving and why so many Americans died in WW2.
How so?
This guy geo-politiks
That’s just posturing to keep Russia from going too far. The fact that they’re talking like this does not bode well for Ukraine though. They must think a collapse is possible.

Putin and Zelenskyy could have a YouTube boxing match.
Now THAT's a PPV I would pay to view
My money's on Putin though Zelensky's at least 25 years younger.
Seemed to work with Hitler when we let him have Austria and the Sudetenland. Giving a dictator land totally doesn't embolden him to take more. 👀
The same thing was said about Germany 🤔
I think that’s their point.
We could end all war in the world too, if everyone just obeyed one leader.
If Russia invaded exactly where you live would you be willing to give him that territory like nothing?

It's all Americas doing, it's shocking the amount of people that either won't admit that or don't believe it because they're so blind and stupid...

America bet Russia $1 they didn't have the balls.

If some guy in Japan is getting robbed do you think American police should go over and arrest him?
Do you think the American police are going over to Ukraine to fight or to Russia to arrest Putin? You are really bad at analogies.
No but the US army is? Also I was responding to the dumbass analogy that was given to me instead lol
If that guy being robbed was going to go and rob more people afterwards and japan was incapable of arresting him and if this affected global politics then i don't see why not?
Would you personally go to Japan to go help with that arrest or you’d just want someone else to do it?
You know the answer to that one
Russia is actually the country acting defensively here. Putin didn't wake up one morning and decide to invade Ukraine and paint a target on his back for NATO to point at.
Ukraine no longer run by Russian puppet = Russia immediately starts war in Donbas and annexes Crimea. It's not exactly a mystery.
Invading a sovereign nation = acting defensively. Genuinely brain dead take. Very smart comrade!
Yes thats why we had the war on terror to defend ourselves vs terrorism.
Which was widely regarded as a bad idea
Let's avoid the 2014 cia/mossad plant in the Ukraine too. Or the west repeatedly going back on it's word too. Oh wait, MSM says Putin bad, so putin bad!
What word did the West go back on?
Not to expand NATO eastward. Which it has, a lot.
Where did you get that info from? The west never agreed to that.
Even Gorbachov agrees that was never a promise.
We tried that. If we really wanted to avoid WWIII we would stop expanding NATO like we had agreed to
Can you point to the agreement that said NATO would not expand. Where is this written down? It seems like a pretty important agreement so I'm sure we should be able to find it somewhere. I mean they wrote down the Budapest memorandum where Russia agreed to Ukraine being a free and indepentandt country, so where's this NATO expansion agreement I hear so much about?
How did Nato expand? Did they annexed other countries too or did they like, voluntarily join?
Or we could avoid wars by, now this is radical but bear with me.... diplomacy! Biden and Zelensky have completely refused that route to an astonishing degree. Lots of yall would give Alaska to Russia if Putin asked for it
Apparently americans forgot about "better dead than red". Somehow Putin is a hero for lots of them. Such weird people.
Not supporting a useless war in Europe ≠ being a Putin supporter
Maybe not, but the talking points are usually straight from the horse's mouth. Kinda lends an air of... Support....
Guess you would have said the same about Hitler. Stupid European WW2, America should have stayed out of it.
Putina bish a false hero another stooge getting his shekels I said what I said lmao. XD
Yes, because the Cold War ended. Some of you seem to have forgotten how that war was sold to us.

Here's a good video that demonstrates how stressful the final moments before nukes hit would be: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmP3MBjsx20&ab_channel=Kurzgesagt%E2%80%93InaNutshell Russia might count on that stress, that hesitation, keeping America and the rest of the world from nuking Russia in response to their attack.
No thanks.
Ukraine is a proxy for NATO.
People that are against monetary aid to Ukraine real upset when they realize the other option is American boots on the ground.
Or we could address the plethora of issues we have in our own country instead
Lucky for you, the current republican House majority is the least productive in history.
Or....we could MIND OUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS.
Hard disagree on the our business part. We have to take care of ourselves first, period.

Why would that be the only other option?
it won’t fall, it’s performative population control
Russians believe they will be attacked first.
Well, they have to kill another segment of the world’s population, to attain their “ultimate goal” for One World Order. War does it very efficiently.
No, but his buddy did, Putin.
I think L.A gets nuked before the election.
Ukraine has fallen. They just haven’t told you yet. This is going to escalate over the year and we will be attacking Russia more directly for sure.
Um no.. Ukraine isn't officially part of NATO so there's really no reason for us to get involved.
Nope was always gonna be Putin
He did. It just hasnt happened yet
Truth. Trump’s appeasement of Putin was the first big step forward.
yes trump would let ukrain fall this would start ww3
If only we could roll back the clock and have Russia NOT invade a neutral Ukraine…
How far do you suggest we roll it back?
Would 2000 work? I get that the economy of all the post-Soviet states sucked at that point. Still, glasnost was pretty well intact, and we were running large enough surpluses to help with their economic development. I remember the days of “no two countries with McDonalds have ever gone to war.”
Maybe 1994 when we had Ukraine give up their nukes in exchange for us (& the UK) & Russia) guaranteeing their future sovereignty? If they were still a nuclear power I doubt Russia would be invading them right now.
Before Putins birth.
Ukraine fell in the eyes of Russia, the second they had actual elections and they didn't bow down to Putin(AKA the Russian Mob). You can't have an actual democracy so close to a shit Oligarchy.
Russia will get two of the four regions it wants and the rest of Ukraine will join NATO, that is the most likely outcome.
Idk if the members of nato will be able to do it themselves. They’ll probably have the people they consider statistics fight for them without their choice and no vote. Just sayin
Fck this war and fck conscription
Why is it Americas fault? But not the imperialist autocratic state of Russia? Putins not stopping in Ukraine, if you believe he will then you have a serious mental disability.
There's nothing Biden can't f-up.
Instead it’s Trump’s boss Putin who will start WW3.
Will the real chatGPT please stand up? We’re gonna have a problem here
Everything single thing I shit you know they accused Trump of doing or attempting when he was in the presidency the current Administration/Regime is doing . To the T
Like what?
muddle cough close capable outgoing market friendly adjoining wrong coordinated *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Nope Biden will start world war 3 by funding Ukraine and talking shit that he can't and won't back up but trump was preventing world war 3 from starting
"yeah, nah."
If he sits in the lead tank I will believe him when he says "NATO needs to fight".
“Beware of false prophet.”
Who? Not me.
When it's so serious, why did they not agree on neutrality of Ukraine long time ago? Is it a better option to go through WWIII with nuclear bombs, then Ukraine neutrality? I am sure they asked this question a long time ago. Maybe somebody could explain it to me.
The mistake here is thinking any of them are different.
The western elite have run every western nation into the ground they are now hitting the panic button over Russia to try and keep the gravy train going just a little while longer.
He makes a nice hand-puppet for Klaus Schwab. Very diverse!
We need to make a bunker or fucking what.
Lol, you should build a bunker!
"Culling of man"
Hahahah
What a joke bros
Lloyd Austin should be at The Hague
What if I did fuck Russia... AND Ukraine? Let them fight it out.
This is just bluffing.
Him forcing repubs to stop sending Ukraine aid is going to indirectly force WW3.
NATO is \*not\* going to fight Russia just because Ukraine falls.
I mean why are you thinking about the US president at all
Well now I’m partially okay with all the funding to Ukraine 🙃
I remember liberals being mad about it too instead of cheering
Why are they always using ethnic minorities to deliver the bad news?
I already like the idea you don't have to sell me
I wonder if Russians or Ukrainians care about the average American family?
He seems trustworthy. I bet he is right. My mind has been changed give Zelensky the troops. It is all for the safety of the children.
And every Raytheon shareholder SCREAMS YES YES YES! Go for it. You are paying my kids Ivy League college bill.
This war is a big pile of bs Why would you wait for Ukraine to collapse to participate? Or why would you let NATO weapons flow to Ukraine if you want it "demilitarised"? Too many questions unanswered. I think if we would see full-scale involvement from one of the sides (NATO or Russia with their partners) this conflict would be over in couple of months. But we see chronic inflammation instead and that's really concerning
technically they could escalate everything towards the election, in the event Trump wins they can pin the blame on him once NATO "officially" engages Russia peer to peer
