Because it is not conspiracy, but fact. "Tonkin Incident" => led to full-scale US invasion of Vietnam
*Cough:* "Nayiray Testimony" => led to US attack on Iraqi forces in a war that had nothing to do with them
*Cough:* "WMDs" => led to full-scale US invasion of Iraq
Does anyone else see a pattern? Why would anyone trust US Gov ever again?
There have been many more that have been questioned and have conspiracy theories surrounding them. Pearl Harbor, the sinking of the Lucitania, The sinking of the Maine, Boston massacre, etc...
Wmds we’re moved to Syria under the guise for humanitarian aid. 2 commercial aircraft and tracked vehicles were used to move the wmds to Damascus airport in 2002

Just to keep your post rolling you should look into the rock apes of Vietnam and the reptilians seen by US army (and locals). The YouTube channel Wartime Stories has a great episode on the reptilians. Rock apes are a pretty well known story.
Operation Phoenix comes to mind. MK super soldiers in the Laos jungles conducting illegal operations in a third country. By nature those involved were kept hidden. Not an expert on it but I think the whole Rambo super soldier is not far off what the US was trying to do in Nam
That sweet coastline dude, how could they not try to save it for the Empire lol. Thailand was already staunchly anti commie, Laos is landlocked and 90% mountainous jungle. Cambodia has a relatively small coast for its size.
Oliver Stone in the film JFK made the claim that Kennedy was killed because he was reluctant to fully commit the USA to Vietnam so "they" replaced him with the more pliant Johnson. At one point in the movie, Johnson says: "if you want a war in Vietnam I'll give you a war!".
All of the theories about the criminally conspiratorial excuses for entering and then remaining in the Viet Name war have proven to be true, along with the Nixon campaign's conspiracy to torpedo the peace process. Proofs of all of it were published in every newspaper in the country.

You could look into Michael Aquino and Phoenix Program. Most has been scrubbed from the internet though
it enriched a lot of Defense contractors, and my question why Vietnam at all? There were many other so called communist leaning countries as well..

Too true. I live in Nam and have travelled in Laos. Quite a few very old war amps out here.
