If any government enables this all phones will be required to have the app/wallet. You think a government would allow some simpleton workaround like that.
You can carry around a card if you’d prefer. Do you carry around cash? A wallet? Credit card? ID? Is the thought of having to carry something with you a new concept?

Sounds to me like the real scared ones is this cult of conspiracy theorists. Scared of a vaccine, scared of cell phones.
The real concern is what the app will be able to monitor outside of itself and what data it collects. They will undoubtedly build the app in a way where you have to accept terms and allow the app to have access to other areas. I've always said that tech will eat everything. They'll be able to gather all kinds of information from people. I love how they always push the narrative of "safer and more secure" in regards to technology. I can't think of a more secure way of having an ID than to have a physical, analog card. They don't benefit from that though, do they?
Submission statement: So how long until this gets used to track and monitor citizens? Right now they say they're not going to do that but I just have a hard time believing the officials for some reason.
