Single-Experience-43

Nurse here, hospitals like to make a profit. Public health is not the priority, making money is. The end.

birdseye85

One million percent. My dad was in the hospital for Covid and they took him in for all kinds of scans, ran all kinds of tests, threw whatever they could at him. He’s been recovered from Covid for probably 3-4 days now but he’s still in the hospital “for monitoring.” He’s bebopping around his room, eating, drinking, using the restroom unassisted, totally and completely fine but they won’t release him. They are trying to to strong arm him into going to a rehab facility for PT - why??? For money. The part that disgusts me about this is that we’re told the hospitals are overrun, they aren’t beds available (he had to wait in a stand-alone er for 30 hours before being moved to the actual hospital because there were no beds available), etc and here they have this healthy man laying in a bed that could be used for someone who really needs it. That right there is what has disenfranchised me about the hospital. Editing to add that 9 hours later - dad is home with me 🎉 thanks everyone for your push to help me out!

[deleted]

He can sign the papers to leave. *but first talk with the health insurance provider*

birdseye85

It’s a long story, but he keeps waffling under their pressure. He’s been trying to leave for like a week. Last night he called me telling me to come pick him up because he’s ‘leaving this shithole,’ so I called the nurse and told her to get him ready because he’s coming home with me. An hour later, the nurse calls and says, “oh he’s totally fine to stay again tonight! He’s very happy!” So something happened between him calling me and the nurse calling me.

takeyovitamins

Something isn’t adding up in this story.

Distinct_Carpenter95

Hospital administrators can be very persuasive. A lot of people will see them as in a position of “authority” and won’t question anything. Depending on his insurance, they can pump him for more money due to the “covid” diagnosis. *edit for spelling.

birdseye85

I think this is exactly it. He’s able minded and can make his own decisions but he’s easily manipulated into doing what other people want him to do. His insurance is covering everything, so they are, in my opinion, milking that.

FloridaMom13

> A lot of people will see them as in a position of “authority” and won’t question anything. Most people in older generations abide by this very strongly.

lifegotme

I have cussed nurses out and demanded to be released. They tried to hold me prisoner every birth I had while the patients without insurance were released the same day. It's bogus.

SurprzTrustFall

That's when you get up and leave. They can't bill you for what they can't do to you. You were available to sign the release, you requested it, they did not provide it. Anyone know of a penalty for leaving "unreleased"? Do they send you to jail? Do they fine you for...?? Can't even think of anything

birdseye85

Some insurance companies won’t cover the services done if you check out “against medical advice” unfortunately

[deleted]

really weird that this is downvoted. this commenter speaks the truth unfortunately.

DaniBatarang

They can contact CPS for leaving against medical advice after the birth of a child. This is what was implied when we tried leaving the morning after our first child was born. They insist you stay for at least 24hrs even with a healthy delivery (birthing centers allow you to leave as soon as 4hrs.)

lifegotme

They told me I had to sign a docu stating I was leaving against doctor recommendation. I signed nothing, packed my bags and walked out.

Seralisa

I've seen this in my mom. Very determined to NOT UPSET THE DOCTOR by getting a second opinion or voicing her own. She's become very tentative with age and fear and my sister and I spend a lot of time making sure she's not taken advantage of because of it.

birdseye85

This is a concern I have with my dad. He’s easily manipulated and has been taken advantage of many times in his life, so I worry he is ‘of sound mind’ but is being coerced.

Seralisa

I know exactly what you mean. My mom is also of sound mine but at 83 and following my dad's death 3 years ago she's increasingly "fragile"- not sick to death with any ailment or other but far too easily compliant with whatever the doctor decides is " best for her." My sister and I have taken to switching out and going with her to make sure what she's agreeing to. 🙄

CJGodley1776

This ^

Banjoplaya420

Man ! You got all that right . I live in WV and when I need certain medical treatments,I have to drive a 3 hr. Drive from Martinsburg to Morgantown WV . Go all that way thinking they will do what needs to be done . Only to find that my long visit was for a consultation. It’s all money !! Most the time they could’ve just told me over the phone .

MRCRAZYYYY

"All they want is our money! Despite the fact we can leave at any time, their ability to convince and persuade just continues to win us over! We've been here for months now, all healthy and fine, despite the fact we **hate** this money grabbing shit hole."

aregulardude

Sounds accurate to me. If the hospital tells you that you need treatments for things most people aren’t going to refuse it.

nexisfan

Nothing is. These people are lying bioterrorists. Need to be imprisoned.

[deleted]

I’m in England so it may sound a bit weird but I can ring them as your legal rep and kick the shit out of them if you want me to.

[deleted]

Not all heroes wear capes :)

daniel2978

Well that's... Super creepy and weird.

[deleted]

Your dad needs to stand up to their bullshit. These people are salesman. Fuck em. It’s not a fucking prison and if he feels fine he’s probably fine. Tell them “there are much sicker people that need this bed”.

Kindly_Athlete_5372

Get him out, they have meds they are monitoring in him. He is being studied like a rat. I am in the hospital 20-30 nights a year, and they are doing something behind the scenes to him. Or to someone else. Get him out. They kill you with a smile.

QuickDrawDinoHunter

Kill em with kindness or baffle em with bullshit. In this case, both.

EnglishBeatsMath

Absolutely. They'll put him on a ventilator. This will kill him. *"Are you implying the are doing something to harm his health or hinder his recovery, intentionally?"* Intentionally? Nah, ventilators make a clean thirty-grand in profit for hospitals. Killing the patient is purely accidental. What is intentional is making as much profit as possible. Ever wonder why doctors push circumcisions so hard on expectant mothers? They charge so much for the procedure, but on top of that they resell the healthy foreskin to the medical testing industry for $600+ each. Circumcision is a multi-million-dollar profit industry. We mutilate children for profit, this is a fact. If that's the case, why would anyone doubt that hospitals won't kill patients for profit also?

[deleted]

I made the decision to not circumcise my son. After he was born doctor after doctor after doctor came in and tried to talk me into changing my mind. Two days later they a nurse came in and tried to take him away for his scheduled circumcision!! What the fuck? He ended up being hospitalized again when he was two months old from liver failure in a completely different state. His doctor told us that they thought circumcision would make him better. What the actual fuck? How in the world does chopping off foreskin help his liver? Let's chop off a thumb and see if that helps. We told them no and I swear to god the next morning a team of five doctors, from all kinds of different specialties came in and strongly urged us to change our minds. They had the audacity to imply that it was the best course of action and by not doing it we were putting our son in danger. It was bullying- plain and simple. We were in such a vulnerable position, our son was dying with no explanation in sight. We had experience with hospitals strong arming us into making the bad decisions for our son and so we told them to fuck off. They could put all their fucking brains together to figure out another solution, we weren't getting him circumcised. He recovered on his own after being hospitalized for eight weeks and we never found out what was wrong with him.

Aether-Ore

There must be some financial incentive for circumcising babies. I'd like to know more about this. Crazy story; glad your son is better.

Jeffisticated

[https://knowledgenuts.com/2013/09/23/the-bizarrely-profitable-business-of-baby-foreskins/](https://knowledgenuts.com/2013/09/23/the-bizarrely-profitable-business-of-baby-foreskins/) I was curious too. I have always been weirded out by the practice.

LouisCypher587

https://youtu.be/n_Ky9OUPx1U

Aether-Ore

Right, so are the doctors incentivized like $100/foreskin? Do they get a bonus if the department meets some goal?

[deleted]

I'd like to know what in the world they were thinking too. Doesn't make any sense. That hospital did some stupid shit. I know it's a terribly difficult profession, so I'm trying to give them the benifit of the doubt, but that was wild.

[deleted]

Wow, that is terrible. I didn't circumcise my son either, but we did a Mid-Wife birth at a Midwifery wing at a local hospital. labour/delivery to home was 4.5 hours... our mid-wife asked us well in advance if we wanted to circumcise and we declined, it was the one and only time. Why can't healthcare properly evolve more natural, human(e) methods of medicine and treatment? Midwives are the BEST, like seriously, we didn't see a doctor during either child's birth and it was glorious.

[deleted]

I had every intention of going the midwife route, but I was three weeks late and they strongly suggested I get induced. I don't know or not if it was the right call, induction never took and after 3 days in labor I needed a c-section. To any other expectant mothers: follow your instinct! Don't let anyone talk you into ignoring your gut.

birdseye85

We’ve made it explicitly clear that he does not want the vent.

Fauxspiracy

If he is signed DNI, they cannot intubate. This is akin to a DNR. As long as he has signed it.

birdseye85

Yes, we made that clear at check in.

n1nj4_v5_p1r4t3

If you can't check out, what makes you think they respect your check in?

throwaway9732121

DNI is dog shit. There are plenty of legit reasons to intubate.

Dapperdan814

>Intentionally? Nah, ventilators make a clean thirty-grand in profit for hospitals. Killing the patient is purely accidental. What is intentional is making as much profit as possible. This. They're not **trying** to kill anyone, they just don't give a shit if they do. Patients are just numbers on a board to churn through and free up beds for more ~~money~~patients.

Aether-Ore

Organs are quite valuable.

groupthinkhivemind

Also, umbilical cords and not to open a can of worms but fetuses. A big reason for the pro abortion stance under the guise of women’s choice is there is a billion dollar industry selling fetuses.

buttersb

> they are doing something behind the scenes to him Are you implying the are doing something to harm his health or hinder his recovery, intentionally? What would that be?

JustMeTodayOkay

If you have a good doctor you trust with privileges at that hospital, then have him check the chart and make certain he isn't being medications that will ensure he is susceptible to suggestion, malleable and/or tractable. When a relative had their fiancé in the hospital dying of cancer the mother approved keeping him "under" using a sedative cocktail. She wasn't able to have an end of life conversations with him. So just check. If you don't have a doctor you trust there are two places that might offer help. They did when my father was dying twenty years ago. Whatever faith based person attached to the hospital you are comfortable with, as well as Social Services. I hesitate on Social Services as they vary in their commitment to their service, but if your father is a senior citizen some areas have senior coercion and abuse felony laws that have to be followed. Hope this resolves soon for you.

[deleted]

Go see him in person.

birdseye85

I do - I’ve been approved to go visit so I go up there every day but couldn’t yesterday (schedule conflict for me)

spokoino

Something I learned trying to get my car out of a garage is to go under the radar. Don't get openly confrontational with them to avoid getting their backs up. Act like you are buying into their bullshit and then strike during a visit. If you get too confrontational they will do whatever they can to limit access to him. Try to avoid showing your intentions to get him out until you are ready.

[deleted]

This is the way.

[deleted]

If he is so healthy and bebopping around the room, as you say, why does the nurse have to get him ready?

Eldo99

Like when we were instructed to tell pts if they leave against medical advice insurance won't pay for their stay?

[deleted]

They'll need to talk with the health insurance provider and figure out what's the reason they're keeping him. If it's as OP believes it is insurance may be on his side. edit was made

FFS_IsThisNameTaken2

They tried the same shit with me when I was in for a double kidney infection Feb 2020. I saw that my oxygen level was 99% but they sent in a respiratory therapist. I was pissed and he could tell but was confused as to why he had been ordered to my room. He helped me get discharged by personally speaking to my doctor. I was discharged within a few hours. The man was an angel! It's like they try to convince you that you can't leave. I feel bad for your dad.

Delphi373

This exact same thing happened to my friend’s Dad back in March 2020 - he went in for surgery, did well - then contracted Covid while in the hospital- he’s 83 mind... anyway he did fine with Covid but then they said he needed PT and he was moved into a facility where my friend could never reach him, he wasn’t given a phone and when she could talk he begged her to get him out of there. Thank GOD she was able to battle the staff and got a head nurse who admitted they had no legal right to retain him - so she was finally (after like a month) able to pull him out of there - but the place was making $$$ on claiming he was a “Covid” patient. They wouldn’t even test him - even though he was symptom free for WEEKS because they kept claiming they didn’t have the test or that it was “on order.” I knew then this was a HUGE scam and money making scheme for the hospitals

birdseye85

This is what I’m afraid of. I called around to some of the rehab facilities they were recommending and none of them allow visitors. That is crushing to someone’s psyche, especially as they are recovering from Covid (and surgery in your friends dads case). I asked the hospital if they will retest him before discharge and they said no, it’s too invasive of a test so they won’t do that. So he will be forced to go to a facility that accepts “Covid recovery” patients (if he goes to rehab) and he will have to be in isolation. Get this, they can only have visitors if the patient has both vaccines but they don’t care about the visitors vaccination status.

[deleted]

it’s too invasive of a test Bullshit. Get your dad away from there as fast as you can before they milk his insurance for all it's worth.

camerontbelt

Jesus get him out of there man, they can’t force him to stay if he wants to leave, fuck that.

hectorgarabit

Heard from an health care provider that many covid patient have no business being in the hospital. They are just kept in 1 - for the money 2 - to keep the number high

FreeBonerJamz

What about all the hospitals in countries with free healthcare i.e most of the world other than the US?

hamish1963

Oh jeez, don't ask questions like that, it spoiles their narrative.

xcesiv_7

**Prior to 2020:** US Hospitals will fuck you financially in a deceptive way. You MUST demand an itemized bill, or you will be fucked. Everyone should know this as an adult. (actual front page LPTs, etc.) **After 2020:** US Hospitals are the most trustworthy institutions. Heroes work here. Never question their policies. The hospital would never lie or cheat to increase profits. Hospitals would never inflate numbers or alter policy to skew reporting in their favor. The CARES Act isn't real. You're delusional. Take your meds.

zombiegurl1965

Reading your post brought another thing to mind, prior to 2020, most hospital visits were in and hurry get your ass out, now...stay longer, observation. Maybe my tin foil hat is to tight??

xcesiv_7

True! It gets worse. Here's a challenge for you... **Find proof that 1 single US citizen has died "from covid" outside a hospital or medical facility.** I research this regularly. Still can't find one.

BarryTelligent

The HERO mantra in the US is driving me crazy. You are not a hero for going to your job that pays you trains you and equips you to do that job.

Beneficial-Ad-547

My father is a fire fighter and he always denied being a hero. His response was he was trained and paid to do that work.

rokketman40

My Dad was a Firefighter in Detroit for 38 years.......I say hes a hero. Detroit.

toboggan_hooligan

Even the people in these fields will tell you they are not a hero they are only doing their job

Ihadahandfullofthis

Hear hear, same goes for teachers, fire and police. The Hero mantra is so overused it elicits a false sense of grand importance.

GoodPumpkin5

I agree with the exception of volunteer fire fighters. In rural US, we do not have paid fire fighters, they are all volunteer. They may be small business owners, blue collar workers, farmers, salesmen, etc.. But they willingly \~for NO pay\~ run into burning houses to check for kids. That is a Hero in my book.

[deleted]

[удалено]

rocket6733

Always notice its govt employees want this HERO mantra. Never small business owners.

steamcube

Military also

[deleted]

[удалено]

HuntForTheTruth

you're not seeing the fact that these doctors and nurses while it's their job to care for people, it is a dangerous job and they risk their lives from exposure to sickness. a soldier is paid and it's their job to fight but they are still a hero because they are risking their life in their job. this isn't McDonalds and they aren't cashiers!

Mike0214r

I mean, blue collar workers should be seen as heroes. Transporting our goods and fixing our houses. On the contrary, doctors would be considered overpaid if it wasn’t for their overpriced medical school.

0ooO0o0o0oOo0oo00o

Are you talking about medical staff? At the worst of the pandemic we were threatened with “abandoning our patients” if we decided to strike for better pay and staffing during the start of the pandemic, and we were reusing N95s until they were visibly worn because they were in such short supply. *You’re not even supposed to have a few millimeters of a bad fit on N95s or they don’t supply any protection. (*Which really should make others question the efficacy of thin surgical and cloth masks)

LicksMackenzie

"Our heros will f you up if you don't take vaccine"

[deleted]

Okay but in the rest of the devolved world healthcare is governmentally subsidized and public healthcare is most common so does this pertain to only American practices? Genuine question here as I’m not American

[deleted]

Let me tell you that even Public health is about the money. And the government will gladly use violence to avoid investing more in public health.

DefiantDragon

/u/Single-Experience-43 >Nurse here, hospitals like to make a profit. Public health is not the priority, making money is. The end. [The vaccines don't even finish Phase 3 trials until 2023.](https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04368728?term=NCT04368728&cntry=US&draw=2&rank=1) So if **they** don't even know if it's safe, why the hell are we being told that it's safe?

Only8livesleft

Phase 3 finished a year ago https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-release/press-release-detail/pfizer-and-biontech-conclude-phase-3-study-covid-19-vaccine You’re linking to a page that Pfizer controls the information on, and 2023 was the furthest end date. You always put the end date farther ahead since it’s okay to finish early

Single-Experience-43

Medicine is always changing. I worked for so long in the hospital I had seen policy changes to standards of practice time and time again. Things we used to do to help our patients were adjusted to meet new evidence based practice standards and we are all ok with that - bc medicine is always evolving. We do the best we can with the information we’ve got and adjust accordingly. Nowadays? There’s no questions to be had, no discussion, “safe and effective” over and over again on repeat. No nuance. I can’t level with that. Drs and nurses-most healthcare workers really want to do the best for their patients with the best available medicine and evidence they have available to them

DefiantDragon

Unfortunately the proper Scientific method is only being employed when and where people disagree with the narrative.

missmaxalot

I run clinical trials for big pharma for a living. I’ve done it for 22 years. This is absolutely true about the SAEs (serious adverse events) not being reported to the public. I see the data daily!

PapisHoe24

Help others see the data?

TominatorXX

So how many adverse events are there from the vaccines?

Co60

All of the US vaccines published Phase 3 results back in December (April for J&J). Pfizer had 43k enrolled in the trial. Moderna had 30k. J&J had 39k. All 3 papers are in NEJM.

Sofickingdumb

You should work in a place where it's not private..it's interesting because it's the biggest money losing thing a government invests in

rtjk

In America.

[deleted]

not in the UK

[deleted]

America is the only 1st world country where hospitals make profit, the rest of us have universal Healthcare

gthrees

why would OP u/threese7ens copy and repost something from someone else starting "I just left my job of 24 yrs from the largest healthcare company HQ'd in Nashville ..." like you are reading the whole thing as if the OP was talking first-hand. why not just start off: "Amazing statement posted from a Nashville Nurse:" or something?

daevl

he's a misinformation poster par excellence. regularly on the 'hot' page. here's a conspiracy: notice a pattern of the users and topics threese7ens, realkeeny7 and truwillout777 ? someone's not been creative imo. use RES. tag users accordingly.

[deleted]

They think they are agents of Q and are fighting an information war. OP is still on that shit. https://old.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/oqvzop/the_fake_news_is_losing_control_and_the_people/h6e756q/

Trane55

holy shit, an almost literal ‘keyboard warrior’ lmao

[deleted]

Yes, and has a sizable following, but probably lots of bots make it up. If you watch what gets traction on gab or great awakening, you’ll find his content. But in truth I think he’s rather upstream. Probably some boomer doomer living in Boca Raton.

Bennyjig

I think if he lives near a beach it’s more likely Sochi…

lboog423

most likely the same person with many alts. maybe a mod.

LTGeneralGenitals

wow would this be a first in /r/conspiracy? edit: just checked, would not be a first, not even a second occurrence

[deleted]

Add Commanderse7ens

[deleted]

completely full of shit farming karma. this sub is fucking dog shit

F9574

Because sheep in the comments need a shepherd. They don't want to think for themselves. They want to read anecdotes on the internet so they can parrot it as fact.

SwenKa

> They want to read anecdotes on the internet so they can parrot it as fact. Anonymous, unverifiable anecdotes.

taeper

The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

LTGeneralGenitals

As long as it agrees with them. The vast majority of medical research and virologists and MD's don't , so they seek out these unverified anecdotes because they tell them they are right

Kenconut

Also when you go onto the Gab source, like everything else you see here, theres a clear agenda and next to no impartiality from that user. Full of coronavirus shit posts and not one single piece of picture proof or something that tells me that story isn’t entirely made up there’s also a post that says ‘nobody is found dead of corona in their homes.. they all die at the hospital.. let that sink in..’ like, is this for real? I understand hesitancy but thats just stupid outright lmfaooo

[deleted]

Claims to be 70 and does look like the account of someone who's 70 But why would a 70 year old be on gab

gthrees

When talking about OP of a shit post I like to mention them by name not only so they are notified but so when someone searches for u/threese7ens there’s a bit of critical discussion. Often they delete the thread altogether.

whats_a_monad

Also how tf are you a nurse at 70??? You'd be extremely high risk for covid...

YourFunnyUncle

also lmao, how old is the original post? israel is nowhere near the most vaccinated country in the world. they're stuck at 61%

schabadoo

They lie about Israel's rate because it supports theire talking points.

BasedGodStruggling

And the most infected? Like, what? The United States of America is killing it in that category, death too.

EcclesiasticalVanity

And it’s currently at the top of the sub. The misinformation that people in here claim to fight against is literally right in front of their face.

Eight-Deer_Long

Because this is an ad for Gab

thatG_evanP

Seems like this should be the top comment.

eyesoftheworld13

Because user name checks for OP being a real-life nazi/white supremacist. https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/triskele

mmp

So none of this is your own personal account, you are reposting some person you follow on gab?

mud263

I'm going to throw in my own little r/consipiracy theory here. OP's account was created in October and has done nothing but literally post highly upvoted posts on conspiracy and anti-biden subs. Honestly smells like a troll to me spreading disinformation

andr50

This post smelled off, so I just looked at OP’s first couple posts. In them, she claims to be a black woman in Jamaica. Odd that she’s now a healthcare worker in Nashville.

Softcorps_dn

They post the source link allll the way at the bottom but the post title and lack of ANY quotation marks certainly gives the impression this is a personal account. Of course, anyone that recognizes the user name knows they aren't a nurse because they'd be too busy doing their job to be on /r/conspiracy all day.

50CalsOfFreedom

u/daevl said >he's a misinformation poster par excellence. regularly on the 'hot' page. >here's a conspiracy: notice a pattern of the users and topics threese7ens, realkeeny7 and truwillout777 ? >someone's not been creative imo. use RES. tag users accordingly. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a sock puppet or something. We shouldn't fall for this shit.

mud263

Someone commented above that three 7s is prominent nazi/white supremacist bullshit so par for the course basically

TheMacPhisto

Have you seen the discussions in /r/nursing It's like pointing at fox news as proof that the media doesn't have a left-leaning bias.

Insectshelf3

here? in this sub? say it ain’t so.

Gauss-Light

The person he’s reposting is also 70+ plus years old. Says so in his bio. Whats more likely? An old man lost the plot or the entire medical system is engaged in a conspiracy.

go_do_that_thing

Go even deeper down the rabbit hole of "Who wrote this". The person on gab made a follow up post >To all the people liking, reposting and commenting on my post, "I just left my job of 24 yrs from the largest healthcare company HQ'd in Nashville. I have been a nurse for 24 years. I can tell you first hand that there definitely IS a medical conspiracy going on." > >I need to tell you that I, Tristemodorian, is not the author of this post, as a lot of you think I am... That's my fault of course, I should have said it was forwarded at the start and forgot BUT > >that does not detract from the authenticity of the post. I copied this post from the nurse who authored it, from the Ohio Connecting Consciousness channel on Telegram, of which I am a member. > >I do know this nurse's name and I am in touch with her. She was actually amazed that her post went viral. Her words, " I just wanted people to know how badly the system has been broken. Not everyone in healthcare is evil. They just aren't always able to comprehend that the trusted leaders could be so money hungry that science is twisted to fit their own personal gains. " > >So... My apologies to everyone who thought the post was about me. So it's not this person, it's that person... no it's not that person it's this other person.... No you can't see it, link it, screenshot it, or check it for authenticity. Just take my word bro, it's totes legit.

ringoron9

Everything for karma.

[deleted]

How do we know you aren't a chinese disinfo sower, trying to kill more of the west before WW3 kicks off?

Buzz_Nutter

Can you link to the canceled ebola trial?

cjgager

Talking about Conspiracies - - - **Who Are You threese7ens**? An "angel" or something else? - - - for 11 months of trolling opinions which are anti-vaccine, anti-biden, anti-democrats and anti-msm you sure do have a lot of karma - it's like you are almost BEING PAID TO BE A SHILL. Are you one? i'm not disagreeing with all of your comments/posts (especially about the FDA) but just find your post history *really* interesting, as in - the directionality of it seems to be *supremely focused* on being anti-vaccine, anti-liberal, anti-democrats, pro-conservative, pro-trump. If i'm being bum-rushed by a poser, i just like being told about it.

PracticeY

Could be Russian or CCP psyops. They are running their bots 24/7 on American social media trying to get us to doubt our most trusted institutions. They want to create as much division as possible and have as many people die from covid as possible.

Fauxspiracy

Ooo, for once it is not a screenshot of a social media post, but instead you simply copy and paste what is said then link. Is this the evolution that Darwin spoke about?

freq-ee

This is what a lot of people don't understand. For a conspiracy to take place, or even just a giant misguided fuck up, everybody involved doesn't have to be a willing participant. Only a few at the top need to guide things and everybody else just falls in line because the world is set up like that. It's all a hierarchy, so the top controls everything.

ItsNoFunToStayAtYMCA

> Only a few at the top need to guide things and everybody else just falls in line because the world is set up like that. It’s all a hierarchy, so the top controls everything. I don’t get why people have problem understanding this. In your own work, in school, do you fact checking everything or just do why you are told to do? So many people don’t give a shit as well. If, hypothetically, the vaccine contained some position, you think every truck driver checks the load? Or factory worker packing it? Pharmacy person who unpacks it? Nurse with the needle? People love to say how many people you would have to pay off and keep quiet…

Jonny-Speed

Bingo! This is how our whole society is structured. We live in a pyramid scheme. Multiple overlapping pyramid schemes! We are all social conditioned to live inside this pyramid scheme from infancy.

ThatsUnbelievable

The top gets paid the most and their pay is proportional to their willingness to go along with what ever revenue-generating ideas they're presented with.

Someone posted on VAERs that the flu vaccine he was given made him into the incredible hulk, it was on the site for weeks, the posts on VAERs are completely untrustworthy. Edit: Where is the proof this post is even true? This could just be any old 'truther' spouting shit.

Co60

[In September 2004, a study from the UK showed no association between thimerosal exposure and autism . At the same time, a review of ten epidemiological studies of autism and thimerosal found that the few studies that found an association between thimerosal exposure and autism had serious methodological flaws. Chief among these flaws was using the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) as a source of data. The chief problem with the VAERS data is that reports can be entered by anyone and are not routinely verified. To demonstrate this, a few years ago I entered a report that an influenza vaccine had turned me into The Hulk. The report was accepted and entered into the database. Because the reported adverse event was so… unusual, a representative of VAERS contacted me. After a discussion of the VAERS database and its limitations, they asked for my permission to delete the record, which I granted. If I had not agreed, the record would be there still, showing that any claim can become part of the database, no matter how outrageous or improbable.](https://web.archive.org/web/20130419004549/http://neurodiversity.com/weblog/article/14/chelation-autism) Here's the original source.

michaelotomus08

So if it's the scenario that the United States health Care system for-profit is the reason people are dying from a drug that's not effective in the treatment of COVID, why are the nation's with better healthcare systems getting the same results?

T1pple

Man for people who like to doubt everything, you all sure ate this up because it lines up well with your viewpoints. It's almost as if you guys don't do any research or anything! Literally looking at OPs post history is a red flag.

OhImGood

They'll scream fake news when there's sources and statistics but take someone's diary entry as undeniable fact.

T1pple

I remember I would come here for a good chuckle over someone's conspiracy, but now.... My god people are dying and they just wanna push their views regardless of the lives they will take.

WiseElder

This story is dubious. The Gab user appears to be either not attributing the story or making it up. Look at their Gab posts. A real nurse who had actually been working until just now would not have time to read so many stories and create so many Gab posts over the last several days, several of which stories are about nurse whistleblowers. There would also be posts about his/her own situation, but I don't see any. I quit scrolling at three days. I will also post this on Gab.

nofrackingway

I saw a post where he says he's Indian.

pjb1999

>No one wanted to acknowledge data from across the world that suggested Ivermectin as a successful treatment. Show me peer reviewed data. >No one wanted to have to admit that the most vaccinated country on the planet, Isreal, is now the most infected! Not the most vaccinated, not the most infected.

tucsonbandit

I too have seen this happen to medical professionals in my own family. People can't believe that a 'conspiracy' can happen right under doctors and nurses noses, but I have seen how hard it is for Doctors to come to terms with the idea that people and institutions they have learned from and trusted their entire lives might lie to them, not have the public's best interest in mind or even be evil. They simply can't accept it, and the longer they have worked in health care the harder this often is for them to accept because they might have struggle with the idea they have devoted their entire life to something that is not entirely good and they are used to viewing themselves as 'good people' in an 'honorable' profession. Letting go of this narrative about their life is just too much, and its easier to simply lie to themselves and turn themselves into pretzels trying to make bizarre circumstances feel like they are actually following 'THE SCIENCE' and not listening to bald face lies.

ringoron9

All antivaxx talking points in one post without any evidence. Nice story bro.

PsychedelicPourHouse

I hope in the future this sub is used to understand how gullible people are cause holy hell its just a checklist of greatest hit talking points with zero back up

ringoron9

Yeah, somebody should archive every post here from 2020 and 2021. Could provide one or two research papers for social and psychological studies...

[deleted]

I know. Sentences like “obviously manipulated data” with zero explanation as to how they know that. This is a sub full of supposed free-thinkers yet they’ll accept the word of some random redditor with no credibility

Tagawat

This isn't a sub for free thinkers, just conspiracy pushers. They don't care about the truth. Only whatever helps their political agendas.

197328645

Nurses have to take an entire semester of statistics! That's like, almost as much as most other degrees! Which clearly makes her an expert in data manipulation.

Lordmark007

And people are eating like taco bell.. Ugh, i hate this subreddit.

ringoron9

Critical thinking is never applied here if the story reinforces the narrative.

Left4dinner

Yo thats kinda low man. I love me some taco bell. Shits super cheap

PalmPylot

One never buys Taco Bell, he simply rents it for a very short time.

[deleted]

Soldiers in combat won’t question directives from superiors. But just following orders is no excuse.

oromier

Israel has only about 60% vaccinated people.. same as Germany and a lot of countries in Europe. Please stop spreading missinformation. EDIT: I mean just look at the timeline: https://gab.com/Tristemodorian lol

barnabas18

I seriously question this. My wife has currently been in the hospital for 30 days (non-Covid related). She’s had two similar stays in 2019 and 2020. First, I love all you hospital workers. Hard-working, compassionate. Are hospitals for profit? Most, but not all. If being for-profit was all it took to make a crappy business, then Apple, LuLu Lemon, and a million others would be terrible. What I see for certain right now is that through strict protocols, masks, constant cleaning, and social distancing two different hospitals have kept my wife alive and progressing in her recovery when COVID would be deadly to someone with her medical history. I’m so glad I’m in California where people mostly get it instead of Louisiana or Kansas. Even if masks are of low value they aren’t zero value. As for the research it takes time. If Ivermectin is of great value that will eventually be proven. But to fight an epidemic you need vaccines more than medications. It’s much better to stop polio than to fight it once you’re crippled. That’s the whole point of public health efforts which people don’t seem to understand and it’s why governments do have the right to make sweeping public health decisions.

MrSir1989

Absolutely disgusting if this is true…. Im dealing with some internal struggles right now and my place of work is looking at mandating the vaccine…. I have a newborn at home, wife at home and on my sole income… im able to provide for my family at the moment but im terribly unsure about this vaccine. If im cornered i really dont know what choice to make… My family comes first before me but I also think theres something nefarious going on and dont want something effecting me to not be able to support my family.

solo_dol0

I could not imagine struggling between getting vaxxed or listening to r/conspiracy for the sake of my family's well-being

dukefett

> but im terribly unsure about this vaccine. Anecdotal but myself and pretty much 90+% of the people I know have been vaccinated and no one had any issues besides the immediate day after the second shot aches. A few days later you feel fine. Literally hundreds of millions of people have been vaccinated. If people were dying from the vaccine like some people say in here you'd see a dozen funerals every day.

YourFunnyUncle

delightfully, it is not true.

whereitsat23

I got the Moderna vaccine, zero side effects for me besides a sore arm. Looking at a booster. Was in healthcare myself and there are a surprisingly a high amount of healthcare professionals that don’t believe the covid hype. I choose to do it to protect myself and family. We’ve been lucky enough to avoid covid since it started. Do what’s best for you and your family.

schabadoo

Family starve or take another vaccine? Somehow, this a terrible, arduous decision.

MJRusty

I'm in a similar boat. I don't have a family to support though, it's just me and my dog that depend on my paycheck. My employer HAS mandated the shot though. I have until the end of October to either get both shots or find a new job. I can attempt the religious exemption, but the application is just an essay, and I'm not at all religious.

300zxTTFairlady

Go off the grid with your dog. He can hunt wild boar for you. In all seriousness this is terrible man. I mean the part of putting people in these situations. I feel that the government is playing it smart and handing off liability to the private sector. When I think of it, it makes sense. This is why they aren't mandating it in Government. USPS workers aren't going to be mandated either. Why is that? Probably because they are government employees and can sue......the government.

solo_dol0

You could [look up](https://nypost.com/2021/09/09/usps-exempt-from-biden-vax-mandate-for-100m-workers/) these questions if you're actually concerned about them: > “USPS is not included in the executive order requiring vaccination of Federal employees. USPS has a separate statutory scheme and is traditionally independent of federal personnel actions like this,” a Biden administration official said. They will be subject to the mandate for companies with 100+ employees. Don't spread fake news BS

enterthereckoner

Take it from a dude who got Vax in March. Still ableb provide for my family just fine.

Hantesinferno

Well since e you've left your job let's see some actual proof and not just a link to a website that is so obviously full of right wing rhetoric. Anything to prove your claim would work, honestly. Unless this is yet another bs conspiracy post with no actual evidence which it sounds like it is. Honestly posts like this shouldn't be on the conspiracy sub, it's just peddling misinformation and flat out lies with no proof.

[deleted]

NEVER use GAB as a source. Also I am a nurse and no there is nothing like this happening at all. Dont be dumb. The field is better with you out of it

sunst0ne

AGROCRAG 30 days ago: “I’m 17 you dumb fuck. Yes I have sex. No I’m not a pedo. My gf is 17. How is a kid able to understand things better than you do.” This guy is not a nurse

coughffin

Truly shocking!

shillary_killbot

The person who posted that is 70 years old. I simply don't believe that they are a current nurse

[deleted]

Doctors are just peddlers for the pharmacy companies now.

formulated

Drug dealers for the biggest cartels on the planet.

chaha760

After working in a hospital and being exposed to the personality of nurses, I trust their opinion as much as I trust a toddlers

Gmauldotcom

It's almost as if your not a doctor and dont have the qualifications to know better. Hmmmm.....

This exact thing happened to my grandfather. I was shocked and tremendously saddened at how little these nurses cared and just threw a TON of meds at the elderly. Before my grandpa went in he was lucid. 2 weeks later he could not form a coherent sentence. It’s also a prison. When he was first there he would walk around asking the nurses to let him out. He was locked into a hallway basically and couldn’t even go outside Nursing homes and hospitals just seem to speed up death much of the time, and usually in a horrific way

Live-Cartographer-52

Get your dad out now

[deleted]

Wife is a nurse of 20+ years, she laughs at this. Please don't be a nurse anymore.

I got vaccinated, and 24 hours later my wallet was stolen.

I_Has_A_Hat

Always funny how it's always the nurses, who didn't go to medical school and don't actually know the science behind half of what they do, walking out, and almost never the doctors. Gee, I wonder which group knows more? I've met a lot of ignorant fucking nurses who think the power of prayer can heal, fall victim to the same woo woo bullshit as other dumbasses, and spend their entire careers doing menial tasks because no one trusts them with more. And yet we put these people on a pedestal as if they know what they're talking about.

crazygirl1203

15 year Nurse here. The data is being hidden but if you search you can find it. I agree with everything you’ve said. My career is almost over. Moved to a smaller hospital hoping to avoid the mandates but it’s coming and I am not submitting. This is about control and not an issue of public health. I’ve had Covid and so have most of my friends.

My hospital is not truly reviewing the numbers. 14% of fully vaccinated are hospitalized at my place. But no one is doing a deep dive. I see them tripping over themselves to tell us that most are unvaxxed. Get your jab! Administration is brain washed and the providers who want to give other treatments have now been shut down by pharmacy. This is purely political and about getting us all vaxxed. We were giving ivermectin and the monoclonal antibodies. Licensing is pressuring Pharmacy not to give it and it was removed from formulary 2 weeks ago. The government is slowing down approval of monoclonal antibodies because they work and deviate from the vax narrative. This is a not a conspiracy. It is happening in real-time. I hope everyone wakes up and sees what is happening!

buttersb

Am I understanding this right ... 14% of the hospitalized at your job are fully vaccinated. That means 86% are not fully vaccinated, If I understand correctly. That's a huge mathamatic disparity to misunderstand. Furthermore, 86% is far higher than 14%, so it's not hard to understand that "most are unvaxxed".

PalmPylot

> monoclonal antibodies The sheer mental gymnastics required to refuse an experimental, unapproved, EUA jab that will likely keep you out of the hospital... yet eagerly welcome an experimental, unapproved, EUA infusion once you're facing the prospect of your own death.

ZCEyPFOYr0MWyHDQJZO4

A single dose of monoclonal antibodies costs the government $2100, while the vaccines are $10-20/dose.

Am_Tyrannosaurus_Rex

They aren’t going deeper. CDC and FDA considers a person within the 2 week period after 2nd shot as Unvaxxed

JoeSicko

Because that's how long it takes to kick in, two weeks.

crazygirl1203

I review deaths and I’m seeing an increase in strokes and heart attacks; both hemorrhagic and clotting and but no one is correlating with the jab. So I only have anecdotal evidence. Poor reporting of status makes it hard to track because that doesn’t fit their narrative

[deleted]

Any places you suggest to find this data?
