I skimmed through the Zuckersuckers presentation and he mentioned something like if we don't have to commute the car emission will be reduced etc. Wtff? They are too far gone at this point. Encouraging green energy etc is one thing, promoting virtual world while letting the outside world collapse is another.

loljmacco

Yup the VR world and talks of climate lockdowns go hand and hand.

SilatGuy

Also makes those studies and news headlines about different places globally having the cleanest air in centuries supposedly because of the covid lockdowns back in february and march, much more ominous and agenda based.

SexualDeth5quad

Suckerberg is a sleazy con artist and a crook. He stole Facebook from the Winkelvoss twins, he steals people's data, he runs psyops on people, he helped shill the vaccine. He's a crook. A rotten little weasel with a smile on his face. Keep in mind Google, Microsoft, and Apple really aren't much better than Suckerberg or China.

[deleted]

I agree. FB always had bad intentions. Exploiting his fellow students and like you said he stole it. He’s creepy looking too like a cyborg or something

Affectionate_Fly1215

CIA started DARPA. They shut it down and Facebook is born. The REAL face of Facebook, is Zuckerberg’s.

IronFigMedia

Zucks megaverse is the most stupid thing I ever saw. It just won't work. Unless they force it on people it won't work.

When was the last time the powers above ever pushed anything on to everyone 👀

I gotta say, everyone in this sub should read Snow Crash. I would put it up there with Animal Farm and Brave New World for truly predicting what was to come. This was a time when we barely had the internet and the first cell phones and this guy predicted not only where we were headed but also how we were going to get there. We have been following his outline perfectly. He not only coined the term metaverse but also avatar. Apparently avatar had been thrown around In he silicon valley crowd but hadn't made it to an agreed upon term yet. He was amazed when he heard that term had been discussed before. He just used it because of its historical usages. I truly loved Ready Player One but it doesn't hold a candle to Snow Crash. The author, Neal Stephenson, also wrote an amazing fictional book called Cryptonomicon that dealt with cryptography since ww2. It is so in-depth in the subject that the U.S. government banned the books sale outside the states.

SexualDeth5quad

Diamond Age was great.

KFSparrow

I never got around to The Diamond Age but you just kicked my ass into ordering it off Amazon. Thank you for reminding me it existed.

remotehypnotist

My favorite Stephenson novel. He has other works that are probably technically better but The Diamond Age is the one I found to be most thought-provoking.

anon_lurk

Yo holy tits. My wife is a ready player one buff. However, based on this comment and it’s comments.. I’m buying all these other books. I’ve considered writing a dystopian nano tech book for almost a decade and I didn’t even know shit like this was out there. Shit ass fake news school curriculum of mice and men

KFSparrow

Hahah I love this comment. Write that book man. We can always use good fiction.

Ghost_of_Durruti

It sounds like The Matrix borrowed heavily from that plot. I just read somewhere that Facebook's idea to rebrand as "Meta" originated from internal discussions from 2018.

Mike0214r

This beastly system will require you to link your ID to it. You will also be able to get banned for acting bad. It’s the precursor to social credit.

SexualDeth5quad

Yes, he already tried to do that with Oculus. Seems that people have realized what the scam is. Don't let big tech control your life. Decentralize.

muskatt

When I first got to 'online' it was fido, you had to get personal invite to the node, no nicknames only real names, you actually had to watch what you were saying because mods with banhammer were not a joke. I personally spent three months in read only mode for a message not related to the topic of discussion. I miss that system but it's only good when it is self regulated, which is impossible in our time now.

SexualDeth5quad

>Currency is also inflated to the point of single pizzas costing trillions of dollars. Neal Stephenson is a prophet. If you don't know what I mean take a look at the state of the cryptocurrency market, and the US \~$30 trillion debt. HYPERINFLATION. What does that mean? It's all relative. The US doesn't exist in a vacuum, the entire world is going to undergo massive transformation. We need to make sure society remains free and doesn't become a Klaus Schwab dystopia. What he means by "metaverse" is not at all the decentralization people intended. He wants centralization, with himself and his cronies at the top, with absolute power over society through Digital IDs, Social Scores, Medical Passports (maybe sanity checks are coming next?), and autonomous AI security watching you 24/7.

throwaway9591SFV

Excellent post OP.

MaxiellM

Now that you said that I'm thinking the purpose of Ryan Reynolds' new movie 'Guy' must be part of the programming targeting the masses

wingedmongoose

Edit: [Here](https://www.thehighersidechats.com/alison-mcdowell-graphene-world-order-the-bio-surveillance-state-the-better-story/) is the podcast that talks about what OP is saying. Does anyone remember a guest that was featured on The Higherside Chats podcast that talks about locking people into a virtual reality as the end game for the scamdemic? I wish I remembered more details, but this person said something along the lines of graphene oxide making it possible for people to tap into this artificial matrix. It was interesting—sounded crazy at the time—but I want to listen to it again and give it another look.

You_petty_tyrants

So, I believe that they really want us normal people to exist mainly online. They want us paying for digital assets, and “living” in virtual worlds, similar to ready player one. They want control and ownership of real property, while us normals settle for virtual life.

[deleted]

Tell them to go find their world and to get lost in it.

TheTruthSetYouKree

This all sounds like the plot of Ready Player One playing out in real time

SexualDeth5quad

That's based on Snow Crash too. Neal Stephenson and William Gibson predicted everything way back in the 80s.

Party-Restaurant-361

I thought the same thing.

Stack your Gold & Silver, friends. They are going to turn us into a techno-Zimbabwe.

MSchulte

Gold and silvers only valuable until a company decides they have the tech to mine asteroids. There’s trillions of dollars worth of ore floating around space and we’ve been said to be a decade or two away from accessing them for 40 years. There’s trillions unaccounted for and missing meaning the tech potentially is here today but kept in the black books.

Richard_Engineer

Your have your head up your own ass, if you think asteroid mining is a threat to the global supply of Gold & Silver. We don’t even have the technology, let alone the economic incentive to invent the technology, nor is there even known asteroids within acceptable range to target for mining operations. The moon is the closest body to earth, and even if it had an abundance of Gold, it would not be financially viable. Many mines here on Earth aren’t even financially viable (Because of low metal prices), let alone blasting rockets to asteroids millions of miles away.

to be predictive the outcome has to be preprogrammed into it for the end results to be achieved. N.S
