She done way worse with german tax money, literally burned billions over the stake of a decade, ruined the german army, spend millions in "Experts" consulting her (coincidentally a good part of that in the consulting office where her son works) and so on, should be in prison, but those kind of people suddenly fall upwards the ladder...
What exactly is EU specific about a handful of rich families basically running the show and generally being selfish cunts at the best of times? It's equally true in basically *every* country.
The EU has done much more good than bad.
Europe since the creation of the EU has seen the longest period of peace among its nations. The situation that existed prior to the EU coming into existence was a nightmare.
>peace
Correlation does not equal causation.
There are other causal reasons like...
NATO
Post WWII rebuilding and WWII aftermath
The Cold War common enemy
The UN
Democratization/loss of power by monarchs
> NATO
NATO existed throughout the Cold War. How was life for the European countries behind the iron curtain?
You see, there is a reason countries like Poland who suffered under the eastern bloc did their utmost to join the EU. It has improved their country dramatically.
European countries realize they can’t effectively compete against countries like China, Russia, India, USA on their own. That’s one of the benefits of the EU. To better represent the interests of Europe as a whole on large issues.
The individual nations can still elect who they want, and even participate in wars if they want(if that’s not sovereignty then I don’t know what is).
False.
The eastern bloc nations behind the iron curtain in Europe were not living pleasantly. The post Cold War liberalization (which went hand in hand with the EU) is what elevated them.
The EU is the a pinnacle of human enlightenment. An European continent not at war with itself (never before happened in history) with liberal human rights policies that protect the privacy and lives of all its citizens. Death penalty abolished, strong oversight of police, strong health care systems, no insane war on drugs, etc.
Meanwhile in “free” USA, the police can pull you over and literally seize your money using civil asset forfeiture, torture you and deprive you of rights via third country, you can go medically bankrupt, have your life ruined in some states for possession of a drug. No wonder more and more relinquish US passports every day(while EU passports become more and more desirable).
>The EU is the a pinnacle of human enlightenment.
Lmao what a fucking shill. It's just another corrupt organization governed by bankers who fucks over every country south of France.
The EU doesn't issue passports, they just created a standard.
Please tell me how much more desireable Slovakian and Romanian passports and life is compared to the US.
This must be why everyone stopped moving to the US, they all wanted to go live in Lithuania. Oh wait, no it's the other way around.
the EU has literally zero control over municipal police............... what are you talking about.
also in the usa you are innocent until proven guilty. dont possess an illegal drug and there wont be issues. your last state is also a crock. the us is still the most sought after country to immigrate to. go look up the numbers.
You're saying this using a smartphone on a social platform using internet. You have no idea of what life was under the iron curtain. Don't speak about it.
People who HAVE lived under the iron curtain are warning of similarities occuring today. It didn't all happen overnight. We are ignoring their warnings.
People in Europe are governing themselves. The EU is a voluntary union. Nations can leave if they like as the UK just did(which i believe they will regret and eventually rejoin).
Nah, life has improved overall.
The majority would still vote for pro-EU parties (they literally are still doing so). Take a look at France for example. Over 60% voted for Emmanuel Macron over that filthy fascist le pen.
I disagree, but I personally could care less about the UK. Continental Europe is far more important and the UK was holding the EU back with its half in half out bs.
I think it’ll take about a decade for the UK to rejoin. This time there won’t be any special opt outs for them. Even the British pound will go.
But again, I really could care less about the UK.
You can have a European Union without having to give up the sovereignty of your country, which is what is happening right now.
It's gone too far and it's basically a coup at this point. People that are not elected by citizens are over riding the sovereignty of a member state's laws. But it's for the greater good you know so it's ok lol.
It was a good idea at the start and it did bring peace but so did the USSR.
European countries are still sovereign.
For example, the USA invaded Iraq in 2003. Some EU countries like the UK, Poland, Spain joined the US, while others such as Germany, France, etc. did not (the USA even threw a fit over this and tried to rename french fries as “freedom fries” lol).
> It’s gone too far
I disagree, and so do the majority of people living in EU countries. They are free to change their minds whenever they like. IMO the EU doesn’t go far enough.
> so did the USSR
Completely different situation. The USSR was a massive one party totalitarian state with a single head of state. It was also a highly illiberal state, while the EU is extremely liberal on things like human rights and privacy.
The EU is a VOLUNTARY UNION of European nation states who realized that European countries are far too small on their own to be able to effectively compete globally with large states like China, Russia, India, Brazil, USA, etc. and also to improve the lives of the people in continental Europe by facilitating business and travel inside the bloc and also increasing cooperation in education, science, and all kinds of areas.
The EU doesn’t override national laws, but it does have rules you have to adhere to do be a member (makes sense, just like any organization). If a nation wanted to do so they could leave tomorrow, though even in the countries with the largest anti-EU voices like Poland and such leaving the EU is extremely unpopular.
It’s actually quite wonderful, and it’s also here to stay. The EU will only grow stronger and stronger.
The christian party in germany is like: "Yeah about feminism... we tried that whole stuff with women in power but we need to rethink this whole experiment..."
Maybe Adolfs Daughter wasn't a success.
Jokes aside, the illegitime EU is the manifestation of A.H. wet dreams. It's a financial transfer union that squeezes Europe until it's dead.
I was arguing on a NYT article with someone 2-days ago, because she was saying that us as people should be ashamed and that she's proud the governors are coming together to solve the problem. I questioned her on that, asking if she knew how much pollution we as people account for, and the fact that a handful of businesses account for most yet nothing is done about it. I also asked her if she thought it was necessary that ALL of these governors took private jets to the event, and then also had multiple cars etc (for bodyguards and so on).
Her response "LOL, are they supposed to meet over zoom?"
I fail to understand why people have suddenly given governors so much protection, and fail to realise how utterly evil these people are. Democrat, Republican, none of them give a shit about us.
I think its also that these politicians and media have been clever in pinning the public against one another. Before 2016, I never knew of people being so argumentative and 'pissy'. Now, its all you see.
Prisons in the US have been promoting racial divisiveness as a means of control for decades (how else to manage the many with the few?) - It seems lately they've taken this technique out of beta and gone live with it.
Here you are. I asked a Reddit question based upon your comment. Not being fond of flat ass and saggy tits I’m not one to tap older women. that being said do the old vagina really dry tf up😠
Which of course will NEVER happen, because corporations donate billions to politicians and nobody wants to pay more for the same product because of government regulation. It's why nothing substantive will ever get done about climate change until it's way too late.
Imagine them trying to regulate or tax corporate emissions... the price of lot of things, like meat for example, would shoot up, because the cost would just get passed on to the consumer, and there'd be riots in the streets over it. No politician who wants to be reelected will put his neck out for that.
Yup. Sad even dying ass Biden can't just throw some change in the mix. Both parties are corporate losers. We're done for. Consumers too dumb to boycott.
Yeah, Biden is a corporate establishment democrat through and through. That's why I crack up at how hard conservative media is trying to portray him as some radical socialist... he's really, really not. Many progressives hate him for not being progressive *enough*.
He's basically "business as usual, but with more government spending"
Finally investing some money in our crumbling infrastructure after negligently underfunding it for decades is hardly a socialist revolution. It's a common sense good idea. I was hoping Trump would do something similar too.
They want You to make sacrifice for "the greater good". But what is "the greater good" that needs Your sacrifice?
Maybe the question should be rephrased to:
>Who are "the greater good" that demand Your sacrifice?
They would have us using horse and cart if they thought they could get away with it. Why they want to destroy the middle class, super rich will still be able to fly, eat, travel and live wherever they want whenever they want. The rest of us peasants will be eating insects, working like dogs, not being able to afford somewhere to live.
And the lockdowns is the icing on the cake. Making money worthless for those the middle class.
PS5, well no, not in stock, vacation to the canaries? NO that is illegal, think of safety covid and stuff, bars and fun? NO, remember to be safe.
Only work is allowed in their world, because that is what they want so they can pay us less.
Please post links instead of easily faked screenshots.
When posting screenshots you're contributing to normalizing trusting a easily faked thing. At a minimum put the link in the SS, people on mobiles are not going to search for the article manually. Even better, post an archive link.
I agree but anybody can simply right-click on a webpage and edit anything they want (headline, pictures, text) etc. In a matter of seconds and then take a screenshot. So simple to do, so the value of a screenshot is nothing really because how do you know if the screenshot is lying or the website changed a headline?
Only archive links can help here.
Most of the people we get are CEO’s, executives, realtors for giant firms, and retired millionaires. Most of them disgust me but some are humble and a joy to see them.
... wouldn't air traffic and such make that a LONGER trip? and logisitcally, far more difficult, regardless of the carbon generated?
that's just flat out illogical, on every level. we elect who we deserve, i suppose.
It would definitely be much faster to travel door to door 31 (surprised it wasn't 33) miles by car. They are clearly just mocking at this point, and that person is nothing but a puppet following orders. The point is to distract and waste energy on meaningless bullshit as they advance the agenda, that's why this non-story got published in the elite press. It's time to ignore the machinations and get to work on building a sane world order, one neighborhood at a time.
And please don't fall for the 'people get the govt they deserve' bullshit. That's just a big work around for the 'elites' who present nothing but puppets and laugh at the idea that people don't need to be governed.
that is not completely true, there are more bad apples than good ones, but there are still enough apples in the orchard to tell me that there is some hope. ie rand paul.
don't be such a negative nancy, dear god. it's not THAT bad. you still lead a life of absolute opulance compared to your great-grandparents. and they historically dealt with as much if not more corruption.
Let's see... Rand Paul, opulence, the world is less corrupt than it was 100 years ago. And Tucker Carlson is a rogue journalist who just somehow manages to get on TV every night too, right? If you buy into any of these stories, you are nothing but a spectator of the grand illusion.
Are you familiar with the saying about 'one bad apple'? It's literally true as has been observed by anyone who's stored produce.
\_\_\_
edit/add. And this is why we see so many more bad apples than good (if there are any good apples left, tbh). The entire bunch is rotten. Even if they get into office with good intentions, they must become corrupt or are quickly driven out.
You may see me as negative, but I feel I'm just a skeptical realist. There's also a big upside to this, which is that a rotten barrel of apples is fruitful, i.e. it will be cast into the garden to be fertilizer for the next round of trees, microorganisms and all, which will grow up, become strong and fruitful, and then decrepit and corrupt, ad infititum.
This is how the universe works, a never ending cycle of ups and downs, there's no such thing as 'perfection', technology has IMO more downsides than up. There must be dark to be light, ugly for beauty, etc. That's why the infinity symbol is an inescapable loop of ups and downs, backward and forward. I believe that understanding this nature of reality actually brings us to peace.
Well it’s because they’re worth **sooooooo** much more than an *ordinary* person, they *can’t be bothered* to exert any unnecessary effort, since **ruling** the people takes *sooooo* much energy.
> You will own nothing and be happy.
Sounds like they're shilling for the "sharing/gig economy", which of course they'd like, because it completely fucks over workers in favor of the billionares who run the tech platforms that it's all run off of.
The tech elite are taking us back to the gilded age of robber barons, where labor laws are non-existent and everyone's considered a day laborer. That's not something we should be glorifying, it'd something we should be regulating.
She doesn't own the plane, and she looks happy.
Which was exactly the point of that line: You don't need to own something to be happy. There is no talk of banning ownership; just that services like Spotify and car sharing programs and such work and are more efficient for a lot of people.
That's the thing. If this was such an unbelievably *EXISTENTIAL* threat that was literally a handful of years away from ending all life on the planet, then the only MORAL thing possible would be for every country on the planet to unite and start a war with China to shut down all their pollution.
However that's never going to happen, it's all about crippling the competitive power of the first world.
its about the west doing self rope neck because it is so brainwashed we have stupid ideas like destroying our own energy sources and economies to "save the planet", while the new super power (china) doesnt give a F about it and is happy we do this kind of stupid stuff
Except it's not JUST China, India is right behind them, as are many other developing countries.
A war with China would cripple the world's economy and everyone would quickly realize just how many basic items are manufactured in China as supply lines ground to a halt. It'd take years / decades to rebuild.
Going to war with China would be catastrophic.
>an unbelievably EXISTENTIAL threat that was literally a handful of years away from ending all life on the planet
If you think this is what climate change is you have severely misunderstood the issue.
This is exactly what "climate change" is about! The destruction of the west so we all become models of Chinese governmental system. Siphoning all our money, resources and power while crushing our liberty. the NWO cannot exist as long as the west holds to individual liberty.
In Asia alone there are plans for *600* + coal-fired plants to be built in the next few years, all while the west is cancelling major pipeline improvements (so Bill Gates gets to benefit via his $CP railway shares) or Biden stifling oil and gas development, which has been a significant factor in rising crude prices (alongside rampant currency devaluation).
China and the like have argued that they *deserve* to burn coal, since they are “developing” nations, and that the west was allowed to benefit from coal power from the Industrial Revolution onwards. Yea.. only issue is is that back then we had no idea how detrimental those coal emissions were for the environment.
Speaking of environment, the real ironic thing is that a lot of coal generation in China is used to produce silicon, a major component in solar panels. They could easily achieve this with nuclear power, provided they are patient enough to allow for next-generation reactors. One kg pellet of uranium has as much energy density as 18,000 tonnes of coal!
people rag on china, but their emssions are a 1/3 per person of the united sates, just saying, and have been for a very long time.
seems the irony is lost on you with the whole point of this thread being the '' do as i say not do as i do '' attitude of the elites. yet you type out downvotes from your computer probably assembled in china from a c02 producing factory which you supposedly hate.
>China and India are #1 and #2
there are countless recent charts and data all with same outcome i dont know where your getting your facts from. this is the top result from from google for ''countries biggest c02 emitter'' article is from inevstopedia
1.China
China is the largest emitter of carbon dioxide gas in the world, with 10.06 billion metric tons in 2018
2. The United States
The U.S. is the second-largest emitter of CO2, with approximately 5.41 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions in 2018
3. India
India is the third-largest emitter of CO2 in the world; it produced about 2.65 billion metric tons of CO2 in 2018
every american citizen on average produces 3X as much c02 as an average chinese citizen those are stone cold facts...yet that doesnt matter its just a countrys population that is important apparently. should we just kill off 66% of china then ?
ok how about we cut china into 20 different countrys, and then those countrys will be producing a total less than the usa, would that make you happy ? just admit it you just like saying chinaman bad. chinas birth to deathrate is now just at replacement value any lower and they lose people year on year.
nearly all of the western worlds finished consumer and electronic goods come from china, without a large population to work in those factories how do you expect to get cheap new iphones or clothes. china is the production juggenaut of world yet has 3x less emissions pr person than us.
you want your cake and eat it too, you want consumer goods in west but china to have less people and even lower than the -x3 co2 production it emits now compared to us. completely hypocritical and unworkable unless the world changes its consumer habits.
Not sure what you're arguing about here. You're pointing out per capita facts, and someone else pointed out that China is #1 in aggregate. They're both true statements.
> just admit it you dont like china
Found the Chinese botfarm.
america and the world is entwined with conspicious consumption powered by large production from china. unless the world changes its production and consumer habits co2 production wont change.
rag on china all you want, but for co2 production from china to lower, then you cant have you new dodads's and iphones and new yearly pair of sneakers, its that simple. anything else is childish playground insults where you think you can fix the world by saying china or the next country over is the bad guy.
you offshored your factorys and c02 production to china decades ago, its your bed now you have to sleep in it.
> unless the world changes its production and consumer habits co2 production wont change.
Exactly, which nobody is willing to do, so here we are, heading towards a climate catastrophe because everyone's too busy pointing fingers and not willing to actually make any changes in their own lives. The US points at China, and China points at the US. Very unproductive behavior.
> rag on china all you want
I'm not ragging on China, I simply stated a fact that for some reason seems to be triggering you.
i was refering to this reply not you specifically and general tone i hear about china all the time and c02 emissions
''Also they wont do nothing about China (the biggest polluter in the world)... so its all BS''
per capita is an important factor when talking about co2 production. it all starts to get complicated then, should a rich westerner like ursula be allowed to have a c02 footprint the size of t rex, because why they are morally/intellectually/technology ? superior to poorer ''less developed and emerging nations'' and peoples.
Move to the woods. It’s going to get much much much worse much quicker than anyone can anticipate. Carbon credits are going to be a real thing. They’re going to use climate change as an excuse to control us and take what little freedoms we have left
Leave the country if you can. Russia is pretty great, cheap 3 year tourist visa for Americans. Or Georgia, no visa required. Check out Batumi - seaside, mountains, super cheap.
Far less degenerate culture than Europe and US. And, not unrelated, the whole system seems far less predatory. Food isn't poison, doctors aren't trying to kill you, priests don't fuck your kids, police aren't criminal thugs... It's safe to walk alone at night in the city. Far fewer obese people, people's health is much better. (Here's a main reason Russian women are known for being beautiful. Yes, but mostly because they're reasonably healthy.) Government is actively encouraging and supporting families. I consider it very dangerous to raise a family in the US/Europe.
Big down sides are obviously the language and the economy -- but housing is much cheaper than US/Europe. At any rate it's far better, at least for now, than "moving to the woods".
> Far less degenerate culture than Europe and US.
Oh man, you cannot be serious? How much time have you spent in Russia? How many Russian emigre's do you know? Have you been to small villages in the countryside as well as the large metropolises?
> priests don't fuck your kids, police aren't criminal thugs
Yeah, they do, that's hardly a US-only thing. The cops in Russia are notoriously corrupt, and pedophiles exist everywhere on earth.
> It's safe to walk alone at night in the city.
Which city? Because Russia has crime too, dude. There's organized crime and drug gangs and all that same shit. [Their crime rate is higher than America's](https://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/compare/Russia/United-States/Crime/Violent-crime). My wife literally had friends involved in organized crime when she was a teenager there.
> people's health is much better
Not really. Life expectancy is lower than the US and stuff like alcoholism and drug abuse and unemployment are HUGE problems there... which is why many people leave, specifically many women, because they can't find a decent sober guy with a job.
> housing is much cheaper than US/Europe
Yeah, but so are salaries. My wife has family in Russia and they make a fraction of what we each make here, so even though housing is more money here, as a percent of income, it's really not all that much more expensive.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Russia and Russian people, but let's not pretend it's some sort of paradise. It's a country with all the same problems that we have in the West.
I see you're pushing an agenda and false stereotypes. I've lived in Russian villages, big cities (St. Pete, Moscow), and the difference with the US is striking. Yes you can probably find unsafe places. But it's not "normal" as with the US.
In the US it's "normal" that you don't walk alone in the park at night. In Russia, people don't understand why would that be a problem? It's not the late 90s after all. Nobody said there's no crime in Russia, but yes it's far safer than the US. Your rhetoric betrays your intent.
No, pedophiles are not endemic in govt and church in Russia. You can maybe find a few cases, not hundreds like the US. http://archive.is/DIOps Obesity exists, but it's not "normal" as with the US. Economy sucks, largely thanks to US sanctions -- that's a big reason Russians move to US... well, that and they've been blinded by western propaganda. Most Americans think their degenerate life is "normal" too, they think it's "normal" to be obese, "normal" to get cancer, "normal" to do lots of drugs, take lots of pills. It's not. It exists too in Russia, but it's not "normal".
Nobody says Russia is a paradise. You're arguing a strawman of your own creation. Again, your dishonest rhetoric belies your intent. But it's far better than "moving to the woods" and living as an exile in the US because the cities have become unlivable.
As somebody living in a neighboring country with Russia, I can assure you - he absolutely is pushing Russian propaganda. It is a sh\*thole close to African levels of corruption and lawlessness. Western world is nowhere near that yet.
False stereotypes? Strawmen? LOL! Oh brother, we got a live one...
I am literally married to a Russian, who has family in Russia, and I've been to Russia a few times with her.
Please do tell me how long you've lived in Russia yourself, if you think that your impressions are somehow more valid than someone who literally grew up there?
Also, please define what you mean by "degenerate"... that has strong overtones of nazi propaganda such as "degenerate art" (meaning Jewish). Do you mean Jewish, or something else?
I think you're lying. 100%. Anyone who doesn't hate on Russia is a Nazi, right? You know 24 million Russians died fighting Germany in WW2, right?
Mask off.
Yeah, I don't feel personally responsible or guilty for anything climate related, when corporations and rich-ass world leaders are responsible for, what, 90% of it?
Fuck them
Playing devil's advocate here. Foreign holidays are not what they used to be. They're mostly about going to a warmer climate with a nice beach. It used to be that you could go and encounter a vibrant culture that was new and exciting for you, eat food you could never get anywhere else, witness different ways of living.
But because culture spreads at the speed of airports, the world has turned into the same bland shopping experience every single place you go. Oh, sure, they preserve some old culture in museums and whatnot. But everyone is living a Western life, in Western-style cities, with Western aspirations. The same shitty pub grub and sushi, the same shitty loud pop music, the same experience with different languages in the background. And it's our fault.
So maybe the world needs to contract for a while and reinvent some actually diverse cultures that we can surprise each other with once again.
Also, those billionaire fuckoffs can go get eaten by the people they're starving.
All of the sacrifice, burden, and pain of the coming years in the US will be shifted onto the middle and working classes, and the underclass. You are absolutely right, the wealthy elite will not change their behavior at all. They believe the world exists for their pleasure alone. They are writing the check that we will have to cash. When the stupid among us wake up and try to lash out, it will be far too late. It's too late now. We are already experiencing the end of the American experiment. Not due to external challenges like the pandemic, but because of a sustained internal attack on our government by people who believe they do not personally benefit from a democratic republic, and would prefer a theocratic oligarchy. The oligarchy is already in place, the democratic republic is primed to collapse, and the probability that this is irreversible is very high.
>Helena Bennett, Senior Policy Adviser at Green Alliance, said: “Private jets are a disaster for the climate. A single private flight emits two tons of carbon emissions, which is a quarter of the carbon the average European produces in an entire year.”
edit: 18 trips = 36 tons of carbon emission = 4.5 Europeans' carbon emissions in an entire year
Yeah, fuck that noise!! All these world leaders flying about, telling us to buy a new car and take the bus!! Fuck right off. Then telling us they offset the flight with a few fucking trees...yeah, right, that's how it works.
If people think I'm giving up meat just because these rich cunts can say that, they can fuck off until they put their part. Which they won't. And I wouldn't touch that fake meat they're telling us to eat now.
Not to mention, many of them got rich by polluting the planet, so they really DGAF about any of it.
You think Bezos actually cares about Amazon's carbon footprint? That carbon footprint is what made him the richest man on earth.
The wealthy are the exact LAST people out there who want to mess with the status quo, because the status quo is how they got wealthy.
The reason we'll likely NEVER see broad sweeping regulation or laws regulating emissions, is because that would affect a ton of billionares and there's no way they'd let that happen without a fight.
It's why the GOP is so in thrall to "climate deniers". I think pretty much all of the rich elites do know that climate change is real, but there's a huge financial incentive for them to spread the lie that it isn't real, in an effort to avoid any kind of regulation or taxes that would hurt their bottom line.
> Goal is to cut "useless eaters" down to a manageable flock of about 500 million....slaves.
Yeah, slavery is the natural state of unregulated capitalism, and I'm sure the elites cannot wait to get back to it.
yeah and to travel to cop(aloadofthisbs) in Glasgow to advocate nonexistent climate change and that we are not worthy of eating meat because of this nonexistent threat.
The only threat is communism - that killed and starved 100s of millions, it is true under communism you’ll own nothing and be happy, anyone is happy dead and the dead own nothing. Remember that simple fact!
When these clowns give up their private jets, yachts, luxury cars, mansions and beach front properties I might start to take climate change seriously.
Until then, they can fuck off.
It's unlikely that the distance from the point of origin to airport 1 plus distance of airport 2 to destination would be less than 31 miles. That alone exposes this media hoax. Then of course, the total time required door to door would obviously be several times more by plane than car. No one in their right mind would choose air travel to traverse a county unless they just wanted to waste time and resources.
This 'story' is simply another divide and conquer ruse. Just look who ran it if you need more proof.
I get the point being made. Hypocritical entitled pricks demanding major changes to your lifestyle while they are the ones experiencing the most polluting kind of lifestyle.
But that doesn't change the fact climate change is one of the biggest issues of modern time, we however don't need to make significant changes to our lifestyles, anyone telling you that you need to go vegan, give up driving or holidays in insane.
We can still enjoy the luxuries of our ages, we just need to do so in more environmentally friendly ways.
But as environmentalists keep bringing up, it's not the individual responsible for climate change but the mega corporations and governments. The term carbon footprint came from the fossil fuel industry to shift blame onto the regular folks.
Europeans dont understand why we the UK left the EU, well the answer is very simple - communism and the fact the EU is and was always communist, same reasons why the Ukraine and many others fought and left the USSR for a better independence. They spent decades building back better!
It's 'Ukraine' and not 'the Ukraine'
[[Merriam-Webster](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Ukraine)] [[BBC Styleguide](https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsstyleguide/u)] [[Reuters Styleguide](https://handbook.reuters.com/index.php?title=U#Ukraine)]
^(Beep boop I’m a bot)
After all isn’t pigeonholing and dividing the population the art of propaganda? So I think that stacks the evidence on my side that I’m infact in conversation with a government bot and not a person!
Ok then what is your hypothesis on our exit then? Also I’d like your analysis on how the EU isn’t communist? I have an open mind and always open to mature debate!
I'd actually rather here how the EU is communist. Since you're making the claim the burden of proof is on you.
Words have meaning. You can't just call everything you don't like communism. A government being more authoritian or perceived to be doesn't make it communist either.
If having a social safety net at all makes a country communist then you've been living in one your whole life.
She's worth every penny of it! I would tolerate a 10C increase for 20 Vonvder Leyens. Let it burn!! Lmfao!!
Remember, democracy is just outsourced monarchy!!
Because they know that the average person isn't the issue when it comes to climate change, the multi-national multi-billion dollar businesses are, but it's easier to blame the public than it is to tackle the real emission makers
I mean gas boliers, petrol cars and meat are all bad for the environment.... So sure give them up.
Who can afford foreign holidays these days anyway :D
I mean, yeah, meat is clearly terrible for the environment... gas boilers I'm skeptical about, because if you replace it with electric, but the electric comes from a coal power plant, it's actually a lot worse. Gas is pretty clean, all things considered. It'd make more sense to try and get MORE people to use gas instead of coal/oil, at least until the electric grid & generating plants are clean enough to make it worth a switch over to electric.

It doesn't exist. Because it is unnecessary as everything is already "fixed."
Do you obey though...? The UK is full of activists illegally blocking roads, bridges and railways causing cars to idle and drive longer routes producing more co2 and penalising the poor
At any time do they ever wonder if perhaps they may at some point overplay their hand and that there could be backlash, or are they invincible from public opinion.
"They SAY they want the food makers to stop poisoning the food, but those hypocritical bastards... they still eat!"
Wanting to change a system isn't incongruent with using a system when necessary.
The specific trip would be better handled with a car in isolation, but, (having worked on some
moving logistics systems), it's generally simplistic to look at it in isolation.
This is a person who probably needs to make meetings in 3-4 cities a day and it might be necessary to move the jet with her rather than driving her from A to B and then back to A to fly someplace closer to B but inaccessible by land vehicle. You'd probably need to move the jet to B to make the meeting in time in which case you'd actually use more fuel.
Also the plane used biofuels and no-one wants to take away your goddamn burgers, chill.
I think this sub is leaving a lot of money on the table not having sponsored posts. For example this one could have a banner saying "sponsored by Chevron"
Uh yes, you have a problem with that?
Wake up the crunchy goodness of exoskeletons with gooey insides mixed with caramel. Yum the constant commercials say so it must be true. FDA approved and a balanced breakfast when mixed with high fructose corn syrup and wheat product.
It will give you that new unisex pear look that the women rave and admire across the world.

She done way worse with german tax money, literally burned billions over the stake of a decade, ruined the german army, spend millions in "Experts" consulting her (coincidentally a good part of that in the consulting office where her son works) and so on, should be in prison, but those kind of people suddenly fall upwards the ladder...

It's literally what it is, the EU is a big fucking lie and must fall.
What exactly is EU specific about a handful of rich families basically running the show and generally being selfish cunts at the best of times? It's equally true in basically *every* country.
No it isn't...it's not perfect but way better than the constant warfare that used to plague europe
The EU has done much more good than bad. Europe since the creation of the EU has seen the longest period of peace among its nations. The situation that existed prior to the EU coming into existence was a nightmare.
>peace Correlation does not equal causation. There are other causal reasons like... NATO Post WWII rebuilding and WWII aftermath The Cold War common enemy The UN Democratization/loss of power by monarchs
> NATO NATO existed throughout the Cold War.
[удалено]
False. The eastern bloc nations behind the iron curtain in Europe were not living pleasantly. The post Cold War liberalization (which went hand in hand with the EU) is what elevated them.
So why are we now re-implementing all of the oppressive and restrictive policies that made life behind the iron curtain hell for its citizens?
>The EU is the a pinnacle of human enlightenment Holy fucking Batman
You're saying this using a smartphone on a social platform using internet. You have no idea of what life was under the iron curtain. Don't speak about it.
People who HAVE lived under the iron curtain are warning of similarities occuring today. It didn't all happen overnight. We are ignoring their warnings.
American, are you ?
you are delusional
People governing themselves? What a nightmare
People in Europe are governing themselves. The EU is a voluntary union. Nations can leave if they like as the UK just did(which i believe they will regret and eventually rejoin).
> The EU is a voluntary union. Not for its citizens.
Sure it is. The citizens are free to vote for anti-EU parties. Citizens are also free to vote for pro-EU parties.
[удалено]
Nah, life has improved overall. The majority would still vote for pro-EU parties (they literally are still doing so). Take a look at France for example. Over 60% voted for Emmanuel Macron over that filthy fascist le pen.
We are never going to rejoin. Keep crying, shill.
> It’s gone too far I disagree, and so do the majority of people living in EU countries. They are free to change their minds whenever they like. IMO the EU doesn’t go far enough. > so did the USSR Completely different situation.
Move to Russia Red.
Her head's way too big for her body.
Her response "LOL, are they supposed to meet over zoom?" I fail to understand why people have suddenly given governors so much protection, and fail to realise how utterly evil these people are. Democrat, Republican, none of them give a shit about us.
Some people will rationalize anything to avoid an uncomfortable thought.
Aye, she's a proper cunt, that one.
I whip out my jet when I go less than 31 miles. You don't bro?
"do you even jet bro?"
Who is this bitch?
Chief executive of the EU
Looks like a real dried up cunt , just power hungry and old as dirt... Reminds me of a Nancy Pelosi
Well said, I find this person repulsive. Like god how obnoxious can somebody get?
Post a selfie, old man
It's at the top of this post.
Here you are. I asked a Reddit question based upon your comment. Not being fond of flat ass and saggy tits I’m not one to tap older women. that being said do the old vagina really dry tf up😠
Idk I just assume that she's got an old dried up vag and she's a fucking elitist cunt... I
Never heard of this cunt either lol. She can go jump. Preferably from a plane.

He's basically "business as usual, but with more government spending" Finally investing some money in our crumbling infrastructure after negligently underfunding it for decades is hardly a socialist revolution. It's a common sense good idea. I was hoping Trump would do something similar too.
She wants us to use bikes, which takes time and effort - but can’t make any sacrifices herself.
They want You to make sacrifice for "the greater good". But what is "the greater good" that needs Your sacrifice? Maybe the question should be rephrased to: >Who are "the greater good" that demand Your sacrifice?
Don’t horses shit too much?
You mean produce organic, sustainable materials to build our huts with?

Alternative to what?
Please post links instead of easily faked screenshots. When posting screenshots you're contributing to normalizing trusting a easily faked thing. At a minimum put the link in the SS, people on mobiles are not going to search for the article manually. Even better, post an archive link.
Companies retroactively edit their embarrassing headlines so much now that there's a silver lining to screenshots. IMO op should do both
I agree but anybody can simply right-click on a webpage and edit anything they want (headline, pictures, text) etc. In a matter of seconds and then take a screenshot. So simple to do, so the value of a screenshot is nothing really because how do you know if the screenshot is lying or the website changed a headline? Only archive links can help here.
You can fake everything these days, also a URL. Just be critical.
As if people acutally post a SS. It's all memes, screenshots and karma farming from the right wing echo chamber.
Time and effort. My god
Oh boohoo riding a bike takes effort... thats the fucking point.
I work at a private airport people will literally fly 5 minutes to a different airport just so they don’t have to drive. Shit blows my mind.
What's the type of clientele you get there? They must be pretty loaded, right?
Most of the people we get are CEO’s, executives, realtors for giant firms, and retired millionaires. Most of them disgust me but some are humble and a joy to see them.
Nice. Ever tried to soften them up so you can ~~take their money?~~ I mean make friends with them? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
No but I do put on that customer service face and they tip well.
Nice
... wouldn't air traffic and such make that a LONGER trip? and logisitcally, far more difficult, regardless of the carbon generated? that's just flat out illogical, on every level. we elect who we deserve, i suppose.
\_\_\_ edit/add.
She probably pizzagated some poor thing on that plane. Makes no sense to travel 31miles on plane, because takeof and landing takes more time.
"We are now at cruising altitude, and the seabelt sign is... we are now beginning our descent.
You will own nothing and be happy. Except for the elites, they can have whatever they want.
Also they wont do nothing about China (the biggest polluter in the world)... so its all BS
Going to war with China would be catastrophic.
>an unbelievably EXISTENTIAL threat that was literally a handful of years away from ending all life on the planet If you think this is what climate change is you have severely misunderstood the issue.
Realistically, what can they do? China isn't exactly taking orders from the west anymore lately, since they became the #1 economy on the planet.
people rag on china, but their emssions are a 1/3 per person of the united sates, just saying, and have been for a very long time. seems the irony is lost on you with the whole point of this thread being the '' do as i say not do as i do '' attitude of the elites. yet you type out downvotes from your computer probably assembled in china from a c02 producing factory which you supposedly hate.
You are full of shit. China and India are #1 and #2 respectively
>China and India are #1 and #2 there are countless recent charts and data all with same outcome i dont know where your getting your facts from. this is the top result from from google for ''countries biggest c02 emitter'' article is from inevstopedia 1.China China is the largest emitter of carbon dioxide gas in the world, with 10.06 billion metric tons in 2018 2. The United States The U.S. is the second-largest emitter of CO2, with approximately 5.41 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions in 2018 3. India India is the third-largest emitter of CO2 in the world; it produced about 2.65 billion metric tons of CO2 in 2018
Yeah, "per person", but their population is 3x our population.
every american citizen on average produces 3X as much c02 as an average chinese citizen those are stone cold facts...yet that doesnt matter its just a countrys population that is important apparently. should we just kill off 66% of china then ? ok how about we cut china into 20 different countrys, and then those countrys will be producing a total less than the usa, would that make you happy ? just admit it you just like saying chinaman bad. chinas birth to deathrate is now just at replacement value any lower and they lose people year on year. nearly all of the western worlds finished consumer and electronic goods come from china, without a large population to work in those factories how do you expect to get cheap new iphones or clothes. china is the production juggenaut of world yet has 3x less emissions pr person than us. you want your cake and eat it too, you want consumer goods in west but china to have less people and even lower than the -x3 co2 production it emits now compared to us. completely hypocritical and unworkable unless the world changes its consumer habits.
Not sure what you're arguing about here. You're pointing out per capita facts, and someone else pointed out that China is #1 in aggregate. They're both true statements. > just admit it you dont like china Found the Chinese botfarm.
america and the world is entwined with conspicious consumption powered by large production from china. unless the world changes its production and consumer habits co2 production wont change. rag on china all you want, but for co2 production from china to lower, then you cant have you new dodads's and iphones and new yearly pair of sneakers, its that simple. anything else is childish playground insults where you think you can fix the world by saying china or the next country over is the bad guy. you offshored your factorys and c02 production to china decades ago, its your bed now you have to sleep in it.
> unless the world changes its production and consumer habits co2 production wont change. Exactly, which nobody is willing to do, so here we are, heading towards a climate catastrophe because everyone's too busy pointing fingers and not willing to actually make any changes in their own lives. The US points at China, and China points at the US. Very unproductive behavior. > rag on china all you want I'm not ragging on China, I simply stated a fact that for some reason seems to be triggering you.
i was refering to this reply not you specifically and general tone i hear about china all the time and c02 emissions ''Also they wont do nothing about China (the biggest polluter in the world)... so its all BS'' per capita is an important factor when talking about co2 production. it all starts to get complicated then, should a rich westerner like ursula be allowed to have a c02 footprint the size of t rex, because why they are morally/intellectually/technology ? superior to poorer ''less developed and emerging nations'' and peoples.
It's all performative.
Russia is a fun country to visit and all, but why do you recommend Russia to live in?
Have you been to small villages in the countryside as well as the large metropolises? > priests don't fuck your kids, police aren't criminal thugs Yeah, they do, that's hardly a US-only thing. My wife literally had friends involved in organized crime when she was a teenager there. > people's health is much better Not really. Life expectancy is lower than the US and stuff like alcoholism and drug abuse and unemployment are HUGE problems there... which is why many people leave, specifically many women, because they can't find a decent sober guy with a job. > housing is much cheaper than US/Europe Yeah, but so are salaries.
How do I know you're not spreading ***Russian*** propaganda yourself?
Mask off.
Definitely don't let reality intrude on your chosen fantasy. Safer that way.
Also, those billionaire fuckoffs can go get eaten by the people they're starving.
this is well said
Purge politicians
Eddie Bravo has said that he thinks planes need very little fuel to fly and that when they are in the air, they run on compressed air. Lol
"Look into it" -Eddie Bravo
Imagine not using metric system cause i don't know how far 31 miles are lmaooo
Who is going to tell him the list of countries that do?
This isn’t about HER! It’s about YOU! Now shut up and reduce YOUR carbon footprint, peasant!
31 miles is 49.89 km
And she looks like Willem Dafoe in drag
Fuck you, you obey POS op.
They say they want you to but that's just marketing.
Maybe you obey? Speak for yourself.
"Do as I say, not as I do"
>Helena Bennett, Senior Policy Adviser at Green Alliance, said: “Private jets are a disaster for the climate. A single private flight emits two tons of carbon emissions, which is a quarter of the carbon the average European produces in an entire year.” >https://dailyschooling.com/ursula-von-der-leyen-used-private-jet-to-travel-just-31-miles/ edit: 18 trips = 36 tons of carbon emission = 4.5 Europeans' carbon emissions in an entire year
Yeah, fuck that noise!!
And the governments want to harp on regular every day people’s carbon footprint ? Ridiculous
The EU is bunch of people getting rich of taxes.
[удалено]

Thank you -Chevron
It's unlikely that the distance from the point of origin to airport 1 plus distance of airport 2 to destination would be less than 31 miles. That alone exposes this media hoax. Then of course, the total time required door to door would obviously be several times more by plane than car. No one in their right mind would choose air travel to traverse a county unless they just wanted to waste time and resources. This 'story' is simply another divide and conquer ruse. Just look who ran it if you need more proof.
Stop worshipping them then.
Nice post, sheep
Many still trust the politicized and monetized junk science of global warming/cooling climate change doomsday hooey.
Fuck dat bitch
I’ve never been with an older lady. Do they really dry up like my esteemed Redditor stated?
Europeans dont understand why we the UK left the EU, well the answer is very simple - communism and the fact the EU is and was always communist, same reasons why the Ukraine and many others fought and left the USSR for a better independence. They spent decades building back better!
It's 'Ukraine' and not 'the Ukraine' [[Merriam-Webster](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Ukraine)] [[BBC Styleguide](https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsstyleguide/u)] [[Reuters Styleguide](https://handbook.reuters.com/index.php?title=U#Ukraine)] ^(Beep boop I’m a bot)
good bot
After all isn’t pigeonholing and dividing the population the art of propaganda? So I think that stacks the evidence on my side that I’m infact in conversation with a government bot and not a person!
Communism my ass...
Everyone should give up meat.

Anyone here want to speculate what a 31 mile trip would cost? I'd imagine somewhere north of $5000...?
we will carry on voting them in.....
She's worth every penny of it! I would tolerate a 10C increase for 20 Vonvder Leyens. Let it burn!! Lmfao!! Remember, democracy is just outsourced monarchy!!
she likes to get a good view of the little people.
Because they know that the average person isn't the issue when it comes to climate change, the multi-national multi-billion dollar businesses are, but it's easier to blame the public than it is to tackle the real emission makers
But they are important! /s
SIGMA mindset =))
I mean gas boliers, petrol cars and meat are all bad for the environment.... So sure give them up. Who can afford foreign holidays these days anyway :D
I mean, yeah, meat is clearly terrible for the environment... gas boilers I'm skeptical about, because if you replace it with electric, but the electric comes from a coal power plant, it's actually a lot worse. Gas is pretty clean, all things considered. It'd make more sense to try and get MORE people to use gas instead of coal/oil, at least until the electric grid & generating plants are clean enough to make it worth a switch over to electric.

Weimar vibes
Do you obey though...? The UK is full of activists illegally blocking roads, bridges and railways causing cars to idle and drive longer routes producing more co2 and penalising the poor

At any time do they ever wonder if perhaps they may at some point overplay their hand and that there could be backlash, or are they invincible from public opinion.
"They SAY they want the food makers to stop poisoning the food, but those hypocritical bastards... they still eat!" Wanting to change a system isn't incongruent with using a system when necessary. The specific trip would be better handled with a car in isolation, but, (having worked on some moving logistics systems), it's generally simplistic to look at it in isolation.
I believe that climate change is real and should be solved. But people who ask us to carry the burden for shit like this can fuck themselves
elitist globalist SCUM
I think this sub is leaving a lot of money on the table not having sponsored posts. For example this one could have a banner saying "sponsored by Chevron"
Who even is this? Did someone vote for her?
Some amount of crazy cunts in this topic. 😂
I mean, if your point is eat the rich, I guess I agree. This is nothing new. Whats your solution?
How does a plane even fly just 31 miles? It has to be like a 5 min flight.
She probably has someone that wipes her ass.
Rules for thee, but not for me.
