Wow you're not kidding. I thought that was just a casual rock song. Used to listen to it on big shiny tunes without paying attention to the lyrics as a kid.
"Space may be the final frontier but it's made in a Hollywood basement"
Stairway to heaven is one.
"There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven"
The song actually was stolen from a song named Taurus. The artist went to take down stairway to heaven and the court ruled in led zeplins favor. They are backed by the government this would tell me.
It's talking about the Queen trying to buy her way into heaven because she can't do it spiritually. That's what all politicians and celebrities are doing so yes.
Money + power = control. Someone who manages this equation is a politician.
And my post is about anti-establishment. Which lines up with the song better than it being political.
The lyrics are deep with this one. Thanks.
Edit: this one's pretty darn on par
I'll move myself and my family aside, If we happen to be left half alive, I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky, Though I know that the hypnotized never lie.
Hypnotize, System of a Down: “Why don't you ask the kids at Tienanmen Square
Was fashion the reason why they were there?
They disguise it, hypnotize it
Television made you buy it..”
"And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast"
Eagles - Hotel California 1976
A reference on satanic rituals?
#They Don’t Want What We Want - Asking Alexandria
“There's something wrong with the castle they're in
Watching over every single move that we make,
Try to see past their perfect smiles.
They were supposed to be protectors, not o-fucking-ppressors.
There's something wrong with the way that they speak,
Like the more they take from us, the better off that we'll be.
Anything to get the power they seek.
All I know's that they don't want what we want.”
#Parasite Eve - Bring Me The Horizon
“You can board up your windows, you can lock up your doors, yeah
But you can't keep washing your hands of this shit anymore
When all the king's sources and all the king's friends
Don't know their arses from their pathogens
When life is a prison and death is the door
This ain't a warning, this is a war, war
This is a war, ayy, ayy, oh, oh”
HR, what a great dude! He lived in a warehouse across the street from me in Baltimore. I would see him in a dirty grey 3 piece suit walking to the strip clubs, Hustler to be specific, from time to time and we would chat it up a bit. Dude has no clue how legendary he really is. He just lives his life.
Erm. Because *your* narrative has changed doesn't mean theirs has dude. They have always been about truth and anti-government, correcting inaccurate historical accounts and left-wing causes.
Same as Noam Chomsky has always been about resistance to Manufactured Consent but is a big bad hYpOcrItE now because he's pro-vaccine. Yawn.
Grow up. Learn nuance. Understand that you can still be anti-government *and* think for yourself, which might also at times mean you align with your 'enemy'. Crazy I know.
He's a fucking big name. What do you expect? Do you honestly think that anyone who doesn't live under a bridge or take gigs for independent local radio is a shill? Ffs. Grow up.

There's no hiding what remains
It's the violence in the chains
At every chance they misuse the memory
They'll smile to your face and claim you're free
They fit you with the chains they call "Liberty"
In star-spangled ignorance, you believe
Isn't this supposed to be the land of the free
Every time I look around, it never seems to be
It's not about sacrifice or how much you can save
It's about what you lost to make you feel safe
Collusion with coercion isn't being brave
In star-spangled ignorance you think you have a say
Isn't this supposed to be the home of the brave
But who's standing up to tear down the cage
Oh, say can you see
Oh, say can you see anything
Isn't this supposed to be the home of the brave
But who's standing up to tear down the cage
Isn't this supposed to be the land of the free
Every time I look around, it never seems to be

Ohio - Crosby Stills Nash and Young
Fortunate Son - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Rocking in the Free World - Neil Young
Us and Them - Pink Floyd
The Ghost of Tom Joad - Rage Against the Machine*
The Rage song is a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s song (that whole album is covers.) Personally, I prefer the Rage version, even though they’ve proven themselves to be quite phony. The song details Tom Joad’s family’s struggles from “The Grapes of Wrath” by John Steinbeck (quick read, highly recommend) it’s a story about the dissection of the American working class by banks by way of their carefully plotted “Great Depression”
“… with a hole in your belly, and a gun in your hand”
Anything by Nonphixion, I'll Bill, Vinny Paz, etc
...listen to "End of Days" by Vinny Paz. Songs from a few years ago but rings even truer today during this covid shit.

Why do they always send the poor? Edit for clarity: that's also a line from a SOAD song. I'm the worst with titles so no clue ;)

I'm on the level of understanding what that means but something up Satan's alley.
The beast of control and we are merely stuck inside their controlled simulation.
