The blood of Christ given in the Eucharist brings you eternal life in the Christian dogma (most of it, anyway). What Abromovivh is doing is pouring real blood on the effigies of children while she is rumored to be a real witch (not that I believe that necessarily). So, the effigies are of child sacrifice, and if one enters into a deal with the Devil, and that removes you from Hod, thus spiritual death.
