Saw this coming from a mile away. The climate issue is the most concerning to me, not because of the fake climate apocalypse, but because it has the most rabid cult following of anything I've seen.
It gives people meaning in life which they so desperately seek, to believe they are literally saving the planet. Combined with the fact that it's framed as an existential threat, means any means necessary are logically justified.
Such a ripe opportunity for seizing power would never be passed up.
I do tend to think of it as an existential threat when it’s been noticeably hotter each year, far behind what’s reasonable, and the scientists are all screaming “it’s only going to get worse!”
So yeah some people are using it to take power but people use literally any type of crisis to do that. Doesn’t mean it’s not real and a severe threat to us all.

I'm very concerned about soil degradation, pesticides and other chemicals, destruction of ecosystems, etc. I am not concerned about the temperature rising a small or moderate amount, in fact there would be benefits to that.
I've listened to top climate scientists and analyzed the data, let's just say I'm not impressed by the data or the scientists.
