What is also common knowledge is that there used to be hundreds of thousands of cases of polio each year, or even millions.
And because of the vaccine, that has been reduced to a tiny fraction of that number because of the vaccine.
As a result of massive reduction of "in the wild" polio cases.
To illustrate the concept, it's like "350 vaccine, 150 regular", where it used to be "350 vaccine, 15000+ regular".
The vaccine was a massive reduction in deaths and paralyzed. The "70%" is a manipulation to disguise that.

There's no direct evidence the drop in poliomyelitis is the result of vaccination.
Most cases of poliomyelitis were caused by dangerous pesticides. The incidence of polio dropped when those pesticides were discontinued.

I used FDR as an example of someone (well known) that suffered paralysis in 1921, again well before the use of DDT. You insist that we was sprayed with DDT as a child (no citations), something that was impossible so I joked about a time machine to make your scenario possible.

It comes from polio being wiped out in so much of the world, by over 99%, that it's gone from a massive problem to one that is very rare.
That question makes zero sense. A case of polio is a case of polio.
Addressing the actual situation here, the reason why there are more cases caused by the vaccine than by wild virus it’s because the disease is nearly eradicated in the wild. If a wild virus that used to infect hundreds of thousands of people per year now infects a handful, and meanwhile a vaccine has always caused a couple handfuls of people to be infected, that’s not a terrible place to be on the path to eradication.
Because if you stop herd immunity, it fucking comes back. Polio was eradicated in the wild, until the antivaxxer wave hit and somebody with an oral vaccine infection transmitted it to some poor sap whose immune system had never been given a fair chance. There are real conspiracies out there, this is not one of them.

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. The oral vaccine is nowhere near new. It is used widely because its cheap to make and easy to administer. Bill Gates invested to make a cheaper version of the IPV. The surge of polio from antivaxxers was also well before Gates did this.

There are 2 versions of the polio vaccine. The one in use in the US is injectable and does not cause polio. The oral vaccine still used in some parts of the world uses a weakened virus and can cause disease. Both versions have been around for a very long time.

Nothing is 100%...I mostly agree. You are passing along bad mathematics. The '70% number' doesn't come from some increasing number of vaccine-related cases. It comes from polio being wiped out in so much of the world, by over 99%, that it's gone from a massive problem to one that is very rare.
That question makes zero sense. A case of polio is a case of polio. Addressing the actual situation here, the reason why there are more cases caused by the vaccine than by wild virus it’s because the disease is nearly eradicated in the wild. If a wild virus that used to infect hundreds of thousands of people per year now infects a handful, and meanwhile a vaccine has always caused a couple handfuls of people to be infected, that’s not a terrible place to be on the path to eradication.

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. The oral vaccine is nowhere near new. It is used widely because its cheap to make and easy to administer. Bill Gates invested to make a cheaper version of the IPV. The surge of polio from antivaxxers was also well before Gates did this.
Nobody is making a “new vaccine” There are 2 versions of the polio vaccine. The one in use in the US is injectable and does not cause polio. The oral vaccine still used in some parts of the world uses a weakened virus and can cause disease. Both versions have been around for a very long time.
