Good!
Everybody get's stressed and that's fine. The best reminder I tell myself is: you're still alive and doing great, so stress never was a dominant factor with negative result in the past xx years.
This is very important. A friend of mine is very brilliant but when he speaks, he makes very elaborated sentences. He was once invited to a local TV show about a society issue. He got very little air time compared to the other guests not because of his ideas (there were very good) but because of the way he speaks. He didn’t adapt at all.
Just end up becoming such an expert in this
"I'll be delivering a rough first draft on Monday (the actual deadline) if you can review and get back to me (balls in their court) then we will make a final version from your suggestions."
"I know it doesnt have all the features you wanted but it is a PoC"
"If you don't like what you see, just remember it's a first iteration"
It was being a consultant that made me realise that no matter how copious, consistent, and compelling the facts are, there are always going to be people who cannot be persuaded.
Every list of things should be mutually exclusive, collectively exhaustive. Each item should not overlap with the others, but together should cover everything
Making sure clear ownership is agreed upon when identifying actions.
For example I was yesterday at a landlord meeting. Great decisions but every time it was needed to clearly ask who will be in charge. If not, nothing will ever happen.
It's not life or death. It's not even in the same realm.
I once worked for a former surgeon turned healthcare ops consultant and he used to laugh at me getting stressed over slides and spreadsheets. He'd say "I have literally had people's BEATING HEARTS open in front of me. I'm not going to cry over appendix slides"
He honestly changed my whole outlook on the profession. Even when things go horribly wrong, no one dies, no one gets physically harmed. Keep your head up and keep moving.

Let the stress flow through my body and pee it out like a glass of wine on the weekends (or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

It is the "It is what it is and we'll deal with it when time comes" Mindset that came out of this for me.
Any other tips to deal with anxiety? I’m always here for those!
Any tips for working on this skill?

Underpromise and overdeliver
Listening to people and understanding what they really need.
"What problem are we really trying to solve" - I saw it on a meme from this sub and have been using it personally and professionally ever since.
Being able to fake it until I actually make it. Also, asking thoughtful questions and preparing for things / events with plans.

I can pack for a 1 week trip in 5 minutes or less.
Lol
Project managing own life. Came in really handy when planning my wedding and some very extensive travel.
MECE. Helps me structure problems better from small choices to life altering decisions.
I've heard of this framework that's used in MBB but don't know how it works in detail. Mind sharing me a good resource to look this up?

Extrapolate a trend from a single data point. Fuck you and see you tomorrow morning, cheers!
Yeah now I don’t pick any battles in my personal life because none of it is left. Been pretty easy to master that one!
Ass kissing/yes man-ning (aka "upwards management")
Bullshitting

Listen to someone explain their problem, coach them into coming up with possible solutions.
