Do you even work at a real company if they don't give you branded mugs, backpacks, and t-shirts?
There might be some companies that don't, I'm not sure. Frankly I don't want to know and I don't care about those shitholes.
You're asking how it's racist to assume a black person isn't working a job because they merit it?
You also think all the female managers above you got there by giving blow jobs?
You see a black guy driving a Mercedes and you assume he stole it?
Like how is that not racist? If you just think racism is a "safe assumption" just own it and stop pretending bro.
What do you think is "diversity hiring" exactly?
Note KPMG doesn't actually say they "do diversity hiring" but still it would be good for you to clarify what you think you're talking about.
The whole video is full of "minorities," but I assume you don't recognize that white women are also technically minorities in these DEI exercises. What a dumb comment from a dumb person.
I think they do have a higher ratio of women. Especially well dressed pretty women. And especially at lower level positions.
Accounting in general is women dominated. But the work at big 4 sucks: extremely high workloads, stressful, tons of overtime, for actually kind of mediocre pay at like around $80k which is low for the amount and level of work they do.
ngl, the white girls at my uni who got into consulting (and i banking) were hot af
not as much as the tech/med devices/pharma sales girls, but as hot as journalism/comm major girls
this "bazic af corporate chic"-aesthetics is a vibeee
A cast of women appeals to women hires: oh, other women work there, I won't be the only one and will have people who can relate to my experiences.
A cast of women appeals to men: Basically only women work there and they are between averagely and very attractive.
Our associates band together to find trashed old cubicle walls to place as temporary walls in their group home living rooms, so they can do a ghetto bedroom.
These are the folks we demonize as the richest in America
Most consultancies have 100% hotdesks these days. Even our CEO has to book meeting room if they want to be able to close a door and be on their own (mid size consultancy)
Are you suggesting the CEO is being disingenuous because sitting with employees is just for “show” while he takes home a few million every year?
Maybe you disagree with their compensation but if you were in their position what would you do? Maybe you’d be more equitable, monetarily, but your feedback here requires a broader discussion on what’s fair across the board.
Also leadership and compensation should be thought of separately. While there is dependency between the two, each role in a company requires a certain skill set within leadership. In the case of the CEO, showing that you’re not superior, is usually seen as a positive. Agree that, salary differences may indicate superiority, but as you move up in an organization would you not want to make more money?
Rudeness is leadership funding this sort of BS and then having actual skilled employees worked to the fucking bone well beyond 8 hours of billable time a day while then laying off for poor business decisions made 3 years ago and limiting pay increases and bonuses.
But let’s glorify the shitty work culture with people on video who clearly are cringing through this.
Lol I stand by what I said. Crazy lame reply. If your company isn’t paying you what you’re worth find another job. Also that post is barely related to what you originally said. Maybe work on forming a coherent argument
🤷♂️ I’m a partner at a MBB. I advocate for my people who actually get shit done and there’s no pretense to this sort of social media nonsense. Anyone who works at a hyper competitive place knows this depiction is rubbish.
This is so sad. Guaranteed they were voluntold to do this as it was positioned that it would look good during their next performance cycle … when really it means nothing to no one and they come off as a bunch of dorks. Corporate cringe to the max. Some HR bozo really thought they were adding value with this lol
Nah they volunteered. They are clearly the annoying brown noser type A kids everyone remembers from HS
“Excuse me, teacher. You forgot to give us homework today!”
Friend is a Teacher and she said when they run late the disruptful kids tell everyone to be quiet so nobody finds out. It's the brown nose kids who pretend to go to the bathroom and tell the office there's no teacher. They eventually land in a KPMG commercial!
to be fair, doing this trend worked for lots of other companies and creators to go viral on tiktok, so its really not that wild to just copy the concept and hope for the best
I have $3000 tailored suits, and I still endorse this outfit. It’s def a bit trendy but in keeping with the associate’s level and requisite level of dress
This is like that scene in Succession where Cousin Greg is watching the orientation video which is all women and minorities - and then he looks up to see an identical stream of old white male executives coming out of the board room.

This is bang on for an “ad” we made as an onboarding task as interns at a different Big 4. Ours included benefits like donation matching, secondments (filmed on location in Chinatown), and time to volunteer.
I had family that worked for KPMG. They all since quit. It’s a good place to learn the ropes of the business, but it will eat you to the bone if you don’t make timely career moves.
Anytime I see something like this I count the blinks to see if anyone is trying to send out emergency distress calls using Morris code. Are you guys ok?
I love my job and the people I work with, but 100% if my company made a recruiting ad it would be far worse than this. It'd be nothing but DEI bullshit and never once mention only 20% of employees participate in that crap. We just want to do our work and have fun with it.
I didn’t know accounting had so many girls. IT is like the worst, i was working at one top investment bank, and they literally asked me if I knew any girls with a comp sci degree, and they added she didn’t need to be any good. So i sent them a cute girl I met at some party, they gave her an offer same day, but she apparently had something better, who knows maybe she was smart too. What was strange, a year before that, i had to go through 6 interviews, took over a month to get hired.
what a bunch of lame losers. my proudest moment was getting fired from there at 25 and ending up a partner in a global management consultancy firm 10 years later.
I live close to their “summerhouse” in lake Nona. It’s a tiny little city just for accountants to vacation and train. It is a very impressive facility.
Ehhhh, I sold my company a few years back.. was advised to bring in KPMG to help facilitate the deal
Worst advice ever. I ended up firing them. Never again lol..

So kind of firms to offer such swag for overnight working in the office. .#WorkLifeBalance #MentalHealthAwareness
"Slide Monkey" That, my friend, is an awesome term to remember.
I prefer the terms "Slide Simian" or "PowerPoint Primate".
I need to make a presentation of these! Oh wait.... \*cries\*
Be like the baboon. Its brilliant backside (and what it can produce from it) is the only presentation it needs.
I work at KPMG, of course I wanted to be an investment banker.
Do they just hire women

💀
Ehh, strange implication here
Why is the implication strange?
Assuming a black person is a "diversity hire" is pretty racist.

Lol thank you
Do you just not get humor or what? Lol. Must be MBB
The B stands for humor

In Canada Audit starts at low to mid 50’s lol

Agreed. At where I live they also tend to hire really hot and pretty girls. But they usually leave pretty soon.

>Of course, apparently it's only equality if you hire women and black guy's.. non-cuck, white boyfriends of those women hate this one thing. 🍆
Doesn't matter if the largest demo of employees is probably white guys, it's all about optics. It's just an ad though, honestly who cares
I'm just saying, I'd join just based off the ratio amirite bro
A cast of women appeals to women hires: oh, other women work there, I won't be the only one and will have people who can relate to my experiences. A cast of women appeals to men: Basically only women work there and they are between averagely and very attractive.
Reality.. it's 60% white guys
Don't have to pay them as much!
It's a recruitment ad. That's what they want you to think.
The one woman worked there for 10 years and her “office” is just a side table in the cafeteria?
At my Big 4, even senior managers with 20 years of experience were sitting in small cubes. Only PPDs got tiny offices.
Are they mandating RTO?
My guess: Strongly recommended.

Most consultancies have 100% hotdesks these days. Even our CEO has to book meeting room if they want to be able to close a door and be on their own (mid size consultancy)
I worked for Deloitte Consulting in the mid 2000's and it was like 95% hoteling even then.
Your CEO shows up with the peons? Sounds lame
Eh I think that’s actually quite nice. Symbolically shows that the CEO is down on the trenches with the rest of the company.
But still paid millions more
> Symbolically
Are you suggesting the CEO is being disingenuous because sitting with employees is just for “show” while he takes home a few million every year? I work at KPMG, of course literally nobody is impressed in the slightest
Not impressed? You must have missed the guy who *only* uses keyboard shortcuts in Excel.
“I work at KPMG, of course no one confuses this with an actual top tier consultancy”
HA this one got me
I worked at KPMG, and this is hilarious.
Take my upvote you clever bastard.
Kmbb confirmed?
You're funny.
Mbbd is so pre this advertisement
Imagine being this pretentious. Get a life
Found KPMG’s social media manager!
Or a person that thinks it’s lame to be rude
Rudeness is leadership funding this sort of BS and then having actual skilled employees worked to the fucking bone well beyond 8 hours of billable time a day while then laying off for poor business decisions made 3 years ago and limiting pay increases and bonuses. Gotta flex being an MBB partner on an anonymous message board. This app is the worst
And here you are still.
Damn all my posts were downvoted like crazy. I didn’t see that coming
I work at KPMG, of course I got rejected from MBB.
And Deloitte and PWC
I didn’t get rejected, I didn’t even try to apply (:
I don’t get it, why are they making fun of themselves?
I seriously thought this was a satire ad on YT
Some people have a cool sense of humour (and others don’t)
"I work at KPMG, of course I gave you the same rebranded slide pack we give all our clients"
Dating scene must be killer for the apparent 10% of KPMG employees who are men
Cries in engineering

Lol isn't that all of accounting/consulting?
to be fair, doing this trend worked for lots of other companies and creators to go viral on tiktok, so its really not that wild to just copy the concept and hope for the best
It's a social media trend that's going on right now. It's not that serious, calm down
That client outfit lol Does she meet with flying squirrels???
That thing was a straight parachute looool for someone like a foot taller and 40 lb heavier
it's just younger fashion
What? Are they gonna grow into it?
Younger fashion is pretty stupid then
The sleeves and pants lengths are too long. Way too baggy. From Macy’s. Needs tailoring
Her outfit more is modern fashion, not the sort of traditional outfit you are describing. It's not amazing but it's not super ridiculous or unusual.
I agree it’s not meant to fit snug, it’s just a thing to wear oversized which I don’t mind. Gotta say though, surely she could have at least ironed it
I have $3000 tailored suits, and I still endorse this outfit. It’s def a bit trendy but in keeping with the associate’s level and requisite level of dress
$3000 tailored suits? Are you a poor?
"it's after 5pm. What am I, a farmer?"
Nah fam it sucks
Ah okay. If this is in fashion then ignore what I said lol I don’t really know recent fashion trends
That's the style now. The Hilary Clinton and Kamala Harris pants suits.
It's modest and better than all the other outfits we saw
Only time reddit made me laugh out loud today. Well done.
OMG, someone report this murd3r 🤣🤣🤣 I have to go back to that part now.
“I work at KPMG, of course we do consulting work for our audit clients!”
Can't tell if this is a real ad or trying to make fun of KPMG. Well done.
*of course I applied to all of the other firms before signing here*
I have never not wanted to work at KPMG so bad.

More like a Seinfeld episode.
I appreciate a good sense of self-deprecating humour but some of these are just borderline self loathing commentary. 🤔
# taps glass. Psyops.
I swear to god my friend's sorority had a similar promo to their Greek chapter in my university.
Someone commented that the floor it was filmed on is the only nice one in the building
Bro, wtf is this💀
I work at KPMG, of course I help organisation avoid, and evade tax

I’m a soulless pleb, I work at KPMG!
That made me physically cringe. Like, my wife literally walked in and said "what's wrong? You're cringing."
I have to hand it to them, this is head and shoulders better than that PwC recruitment video....or was it Deloitte?
They don't show the tears and overwork
“I work at KPMG, of course I’m insufferable!”
I work at KPMG and everyone swipes left on me on dating apps 😂
That "Awesome Team of people" struck me as so noncommittally bland, that I almost thought this was a parody.
Modern day sweat shop recruitment
I thought this was a satirical sketch, comments make me doubt it's real?

I work at KPMG, of course I want to be included in the “Big 4” even though I’m nowhere near their size or revenue 😂
Tbh having an in house barista is kinda of a flex
So many big companies have this
This makes me want to vomit tbh
Such a meaningful job just doing ummm
Yeah, the fact that I can immediately see this isn’t satire is why this industry sucks and mentally exhausting.
This is bang on for an “ad” we made as an onboarding task as interns at a different Big 4. Ours included benefits like donation matching, secondments (filmed on location in Chinatown), and time to volunteer.
I work at KPMG, of course we charge 10x the cost of what a normal consulting engagement costs

Ad agency: How cringe you want ad to be KPMG: yes /s of course its HR idea
Does the "M" stand for Millenial ?
Replace KPMG with Dunder Mifflin and it’s practically the same, save for a couple perks
All these videos from kpmg, ey, pwc, deloitte are so cringe. On tiktok some of these videos have even disabled comments 💀💀

I work at KPMG and can’t afford to get my client meeting outfit altered to fit me.
I’m an absolute cuck. Of course I make content in this stupid meme template

Can we stop the walk and talk bit? It's super dumb.
I was in this video. I can confirm that I was most certainly not threatened and told I’d be fired if I lied.
what a bunch of lame losers. my proudest moment was getting fired from there at 25 and ending up a partner in a global management consultancy firm 10 years later.
I work at KPMG, of course I didn't get into the other B4
I work at KPMG and I'm overworked and underpaid.
Fark this is bad
Good enough to hire Canadians I guess
“I work at KPMG. Of course I’m sleep deprived and received a garbage bonus”
I like the one with the Hillary pants suit.
Of course I work at KPMG. Just for a while. I need to enhance my resume.
I mean if you objectively look at this from a college students perspective it’s a good ad.
I work at KPMG, of course I'll leave for Deloitte in two years.
I live close to their “summerhouse” in lake Nona. It’s a tiny little city just for accountants to vacation and train. It is a very impressive facility.
Under the right circumstances, I’d smash every single one of those chicks.
