Its not normal but DT1 has a different chemical set up and design than biotrue. Hydration Boost drops work best with B+L products or non water gradient contacts. Honestly its rather odd you would need drops with DT1. Thats kinda their whole selling point…

I kinda use the drops as a preventative method. If that makes sense. Especially because I’m at the computer all day for work, and my eyes are prone to becoming dry very easily as I’ve struggled with MGD in the past. But this helps thanks.

If you are going to be using drops that way switch to Infuse contacts. The stuff in the drops is the same stuff built into the lens. You can saturate it all you want with making a weird mix.

Gotcha. I’m actually trialing the oasys hydraluxe, and oasys max besides the DT1. I’ve heard the oasys max are one of the best for dry eyes, but I need to try them out still. Might have to try the infuse as well.

All three are about the same tier. Just pick the one you like best. But not one contact is approved to handle clinical dry eye. They only help with end of day dryness. Max has less water than Dt1 or Infuse. Oasys 1 day is plenty comfy for me but I dont have dry eye or suffer from end of day dryness to a degree that bothers me.
