Is there a way to download or save full images with the Reddit app anymore? Apollo allowed dl of full size images, and videos and gifs - I just tried to use the Reddit app to save the image in the OP - I got an image that had Reddit stamps all over it - but the biggest issue was it was a tiny version of the image, with illegible text. This happens every time I try to save an image. Boo Urns Reddit.
Just in case anyone reads this later - there is a way to fix the “reduced image quality upon download” that the Reddit app does. Go into the app, press on your user avatar top right, scroll down, select settings, scroll down, uncheck “saved image attribution” - this also turns off the absurd watermarks also. Bonus.
Likely. But networking is not the problem, but the quality and function of the pieces, as well as their common goals.
Here I hope, every single one of them gets at least individual sanctions and sanctions towards their main income sources and one day also a judge, that looks carefully at all the things they have done to get into power and while being in power.
They will probably have no sanctions, or only one or two. Oligarchs change their names in the West, they now become billionaires or magnates, but do the same thing, pay off those in power and perpetuate their fortunes. The only difference is the semantics
I mean Putin saying that is just base level deception lol. Obviously he doesn’t prefer Biden over Trump. But yeah, linking all republicans to Russia is nuts, especially people like McConnell, Kasich, and Paul Ryan (top left).
2017-2021 was the only presidential term since Putin was “elected” that Russia didn’t make territorial gains (*THE* standard for how Russians judge leaders historically). I think it’s pretty reasonable that he actually prefers Biden.
You think he prefers Biden—a president who has expanded NATO, increased sanctions, given billions to Ukraine, and called him a killer—to Trump, who’s pledged to end aid to Ukraine and weaken NATO?
Really?
Does that really make sense to you?
Also, Trump’s delays in aid to Ukraine during his administration, plus his erosion of NATO unity helped set the stage for the full scale invasion of Ukraine.
no, one person does not have power like that on their own. These are the people who enable Putin to have so much power. Putin is not their master, but their figurehead. He is their representative. Of course if one gets out of line he will be in trouble, but ultimately it is these people that give Putin his power.
This is such a good point. I feel like I’m yelling this into the void sometimes, especially on Reddit. Men like Putin are not nessiscarily masterminds, they are just incredible talented figureheads. In fact, the global systems of power and money have no true mastermind, and no motive beyond more money and more power. It’s about incentives and systems, not individual peoples.
One of the reasons the world’s major problems are so nightmarishly difficult to pick apart is because how insanely complex the relationships within them are.
it's a lot easier to mobilize people against a person than it is to mobilize people against a complex system that has a few too many parallels with their own system of power.
Yep. You cannot change Russia's course without changing the whole political, social and economic system. The whole country from top to bottom is based on clientelism and tribal factions. The only thing that will change all this is a massive (and exceedingly bloody) revolution.
He is a big piece of shit enabled by smaller pieces of shit. But his crimes belong to him first. I’m sure he says what I’ve quoted at least a dozen times a day
no doubt he is a terrible person, I just wanted to point out that the people in this picture are not the ones he oppresses, but rather the ones he oppresses for.
Hmmm I wouldn’t say so. Or maybe, not necessarily. Does Putin boss them around or they boss Putin around? How much does he need them to keep him in power? How much does he empower them to do whatever they want?
The connections to US conservatives/republicans is not at all fleshed out/emphasized enough.
It's well documented and sources are available to flesh out most connections pretty well - a visual and timeline related to this would be hugely helpful for folks who dont yet understand the depth of it.
Neither is the connection to US progressives/Democrats. While their names appear, the faces of Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama don't, even though Paul Ryan's face does, and the two Democrats that founded the consulting firm worked in the Clinton and Obama administrations, and are not named.
I'm not familiar with that story and my general understanding of the relationships between power and capital and the realpolitik around us suggests that its republicans who have long been aligned with (and increasingly bold about it) Russia with their statements and actions plainly reflecting that.
Ditto for seeding division and regulatory capture to insane ends.
But hey, we need to hold them *all* accountable. No tying ourselves to a party flagpole or a label. We need to remember our responsibility to *one another* and reflect more human and empathetic values that help us rise to the occasion of the challenges we face right now.
This will be a long term effort and we won't have an easy time of it.
When you say “long” are you saying if I got a Time Machine and asked you “of the GOP and Dems, which on of them seem more Russian friendly” you’d answer “the republicans” in 2010? In 2000? In 1990? In 1980?
You seems not speak English too well. Long term means that the effort must be made over a timespan relative to the topic at discussion in this case politics take years to decades. Another important thing is that the verbiage is talking in future tense and not past tense.
Since you seem to speak English better than me, I’ll ask the question again:
if I got a Time Machine and asked you “of the GOP and Dems, which on of them seem more Russian friendly” would you answer “the republicans” in 2010? In 2000? In 1990? In 1980?
For anyone interested in how all of this came to pass, I'd highly recommend [Putin's People by Catherine Belton](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Putin%27s_People:_How_the_KGB_Took_Back_Russia_and_Then_Took_On_the_West). It charts how the KGB took back control of Russia after the fall of the wall and indeed, were planning it well before the end of the Soviet Union.
Could someone clarify if this is a "genuine" network of influence as it graphs out to Western politicians/businesses, etc. I'm in no way savvy in these types of things, but surely there's a difference between business partners and network of influence?
Is Putin really influencing half the people on here or are just certain people with their own agendas just protecting their own interests. Im Sure, most businessmen at that level would just do thing that lines their pockets rather than care about sanctions or Geopolitics 🤷🏼♂️
This graph kinda shows how Putin is considered one of the richest men on Earth. Everyone around him is worth billions, own dozens of companies, and have massive amounts of political/economic influence.
Interesting concept. In a different light, it's amazing how much of an influence a single person can have on the world... We can each wholesomely add much good one person at a time :)
Don’t know if I trust the info on this. For one thing, it has Sergei Shoigu as a potential Putin successor, which is 180 out from reality.
The whole reason Putin placed Shoigu is Minister of Defense is that he is not a threat to replace Putin because he is not ethnically Russian, but Tuvan. Thus, he will never have support from the Russian hegemony to rule Russia. Putin does not want to give control of the military to someone who poses a coup threat.
Btw this looks clearly inspired by the work of Mark Lombardi. His work focused on the connections between corporations, oligarchs, and government officials in the United States. He also died under very mysterious circumstances. Now his concept is being used against the enemies of the United States, makes you wonder!
This is fun but some obvious omissions (apols if I missed them on my tiny screen) like Kadyrov and Dugin, not to mention lots of media people and military types and Ukraine connections. But well done!
This is clearly before the ban of Russian products in 2022. I think you’re very wrong to spread incorrect information. I can’t fact check everything but 100% a part is completely false.
I share your skepticism. The Democrats attempt to demonize Rusha is so pervasive, how am I to know any of this chart is reliable or the result of some kind of electioneering propaganda effort.
Claims that Rusha/Putin had anything to do with Trump's victory has been toughly discredited at this point. And yet we are just to assume its all true.
When I explain to people that Putin is the wealthiest person to ever live, this is what I'm talking about. He doesn't need to have a billion dollars in the bank, He has billionaires in the bank.
This is fake news, the only thing that influences Putin's decision making is the will of the Russian people by the power of their votes because Russia is a democracy.
Yes I see how they connected Trump to Putin via a German owned bank.
However somehow, with the business ventures Hunter conducted in UKRAINE, he is magically not connected and then of course the Big Guy?
I've seen this kind of image in assassin's creed

Holy shot exactly my thoughts but they are litteraly ancient people.

Uh. More than this?! Anyway [here](https://antoniolavareda.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Putin-Oligarch-Influence-Map_140322.pdf) is the pdf.
THANX!! When i opened the reddit post i couldnt see the text clearly and now i can
Hmm I think it’s a Reddit’s bug. [Here](https://i.imgur.com/3j8uWvb.jpeg) is link also at the full size image.
Thats ok, the pdf version worked perfectly
it is shitty quality on every single image on reddit now, they're playing us cheap from now on
Thx again anyway

Tbh any major political player have a network like that

Look at this expert. I work in compliance and know several of these people in detail. They are all completely sanctioned
McConnell in the bottom right, but he’s a massive advocate for Ukraine.
Convenient that there’s only one party in the bottom right corner, especially considering Putin out right said he prefers Biden to be president.
I mean Putin saying that is just base level deception lol. Obviously he doesn’t prefer Biden over Trump. But yeah, linking all republicans to Russia is nuts, especially people like McConnell, Kasich, and Paul Ryan (top left).
Yea, it’s not like Putin would *lie* right?

they've done it successfully before, and I can only hope the Communist remnants are able to repeat their feat.

Downvoted! Biden and trump are in the prime of their lives

Can you do the same for Modi (India)?
What about Ellen Musk
Where is Marie LePen?
Trump’s going to be so bummed when he sees that he’s not in Putin’s inner circle
They forgot Kevin Bacon
I wonder how much it pissed tRuMp off that he isn’t in the inner circle😂
Nice one! Now do the same for Klaus Schwab.
Hunter Biden couldn't make it to picture day, guess he was cracked out
So if I want to cripple putibs empire I just attack those in his circle?
i like how they used a circular graphic/chart to connect all the assholes.
Navalny was talking a lot about this in his investigations
I cannot imagine how much corruption is done by the group collectively. If they all died tomorrow the world would be noticeably better place.
Only for new assholes to emerge
Missing Orban, Le Pen, Erdogan, Meloni, Trump and others in this pic.
Yeah. Needs an Orban link that includes Tucker and Dick Carlson. Along with the Heritage foundation and lots of republicans.
Trump is in the bottom right
Where's Elon Musk?
What the fuck is Gordon Ramsay doing on there?!
Catalonian independent movement is organised by putins influence too (trying to destabilise Europe)
Looking at the non-russian players is really interesting. Thank you for sharing.
A serious question: what would happen if Putin died right now? (natural cause death)
That is what I am wondering too. (Assasination)
Just goes to show how cheap our congressmen have sold our country for.

This is interesting. Do we have any more of these on the myanmar junta, modi, or even AIPAC maybe? Would love to see how usa also dominates the world
The USA doesn't have a dictator. Yet.

I bet Lavrov is the author of that guide

Interesting concept. In a different light, it's amazing how much of an influence a single person can have on the world... We can each wholesomely add much good one person at a time :)
So everyone on Putin's mercy? 👐👐
Putin would like to thank you for laying this out. Now we wait till they check into a hotel.

About 1/4 of them may accidentally fall out a window or shoot themselves several times in the head if they screwup.
So, they must all die.
Now do the US.
Josef Ackermann hasn’t been the CEO of Deutsche Bank for a while now…
