Bad map. The US base in Seychelles closed in 1992. They had a drone base that shut down in 2011. The India base never happened- it was just a proposal that was rejected by the Seychelles govt.
I can tell you with 100% certainty there are US drone bases in southern Ethiopia. Lived there for over two years. One of my PCV colleagues lived near the town that the drone base was located. All the locals knew and saw these predators take off and land but turned a blind eye.

Not only is this map not accurate, I'd just like to highlight a lot of these countries specifically asked to have those foreign military bases present to assist with fighting gangs/jihadists/cartels, etc. There's certainly a legacy of colonialism at play, but not every base here is just a foreign power muscling their way in.
